Mia shared some interesting stories with Jensen Sterling.
Jensen sat quietly listening. When Mia stopped, she noticed Jensen gazing at her mildly with a sidelong glance. Mia looked at him in confusion. "What's up, Mr. Sterling?"
"Did I get some food on my face?" she asked, lowering her eyes and gently touching her face.
There was nothing there.
Jensen: "Is there anything else besides these stories?"
Mia: "....." ??? She ran through her mind but found nothing else.
Jensen looked at the girl's expression and then slowly said, "The things on the internet."
Mia let out an "oh," acknowledging it. She hadn't considered it a big deal and didn't give it much thought.
Mia took a spoonful of soup, had a sip, her eyelashes quivering slightly, and then said, "It's not a big issue. Once the exam results are out, those rumors will naturally be dispelled."
Jensen gave the girl a glance without speaking and then lowered his gaze to hide the darkness in his eyes.
