"Let's go to the teahouse to listen to a storytelling session this afternoon," Ah Chen said to Shen Xuan.
Shen Xuan was momentarily stunned. It was a good idea, but was it okay to say this in front of Uncle Lin? He sneaked a glance at Lin Daming, who was chopping stuffing over there, and felt like he was being chopped up.
Lin Daming glanced at Shen Xuan with the corner of his eye and sneered in his heart.
What else could he do? His daughter liked him, so he couldn't really stop them from interacting.
But he must keep an eye on them!

"How about I buy all the meat here?" he whispered, thinking that way they could go to the teahouse earlier to listen to the storytelling and maybe even have a meal together.
