"I…I'm his girlfriend. Doctor, how is he?"
"The patient only fainted. We need to run a full set of tests. Go register and fill out the forms." A doctor in a white coat spoke.
At that, everyone present let out a breath. Good thing it wasn't a consent form for family members to sign—if it had been, Su Qing's situation would've been dangerous, and besides, none of his actual family were here yet.
After that, Su Qing was sent from one examination room to another, and his clothes had already been changed completely, from the inside out.
Meanwhile, things were no calmer over at the station. The killer had been found, only he was already a corpse. Even so, the police still called 120 and tried to resuscitate him.
But it was obvious there was no saving him. His determination to die was strong: a bottle of pesticide, plus those wounds on his body—no doctor could help him, maybe only the Buddha might.
