Chapter 151 - Chapter 151

"The student council doesn't have much to do. I plan to open a cafeteria in the school to make the food cheaper. Also, we can find a place to farm inside the school and set up a gardening department so everyone can grow their own vegetables." Akira explain slowly, "We'll raise animals and expand the cooking department so that they can be used for display during the cultural festival,"

"This…" Yumiko Miura was stunned.

"The Student council authority isn't that high. Unless Fujimiya-kun spends more of his own money to help the school build the cafeteria, these plans might never be realized," Ebina Hina analyzed seriously.

"That's exactly what I thought. Besides," Akira smiled, "I want to make it clear that it's my company, not me personally, that helped the school build the cafeteria."

"Future Comics Publishing House?" Ebina reacted quickly.

"Yes," Akira nodded. "We'll promote the Manga app in schools. Sobu High is just one of them— Since, you can use the student council's name to contact student councils of other schools. In addition to promotion, Flash Animation and Hoshiyuu Agency will also recruit people. Future Game Company also needs manpower."

{T/N:- Flash Animation (1st anime studio that was shown - have 3 animation studio, also have a school - Flash school that teaches the students how to draw, manga, posture, different expression,etc.etc.), Future comic publishing house (Publishing manga, magazines, etc) — Future Animation ( invested by Future Comic and Akira), Future Game (invested by Akira, Future comic and Haruno? I think), Hoshiyuu Agency (the voice actor studio, for his anime and theme song), and the new company}

Ebina fell silent.

Recruiting high school students was indeed a smart move — As long as sponsorship was offered, not many schools would refuse such a proposal.

Suddenly, something came to her mind.

"Fujimiya-kun, as far as I know, the students in some school's are quite interested in animation production and voice acting. Why don't you try it there?"

"I'm planning to open a company there as well," Akira replied calmly. "When the time comes, I'll naturally recruit from there. Flash Animation School will need many animators to work with both Flash Animation and the current Future Animation. As for Hoshiyuu Agency, it will take time to grow into a large-scale voice acting agency."

"Aren't you afraid those animators might eventually leave and compete with you after they've gained enough experience?" Ebina asked curiously.

Akira shook his head.

"I'm not afraid of competition. What I fear is that even with Flash Animation School's help, the animation industry in some region might still not develop properly."

"Why?" Ebina looked surprised.

"It's simple," Akira said. "Flash Animation and Future Comics Publishing House both need to grow. If the animation industries in some market develops well, my industries will thrive alongside it."

Ebina looked thoughtful after hearing that.

Akira didn't add anything further, though he did have his own selfish motives.

In his previous world, there were several animations he truly loved, but most of them had faded away with time.

If he could help build a strong animation market in this world, perhaps he could see brilliant works of the same kind again—those rich with imagination, fantasy, and the unique touch.

Maybe, even cultivation-themed animations could find a place here.

He was genuinely looking forward to it.

Of course, The better the animation market became, the more beneficial it would be for Flash Animation and Future Comics Publishing.

...

The next morning,

Akira arrived at school and went straight to the principal's office.

He had already asked Yukinoshita Haruno to contact the principal in advance.

It was the first time the principal had heard of such a proposal.

Still, a student offering to sponsor and build a cafeteria was certainly a good thing.

After more than ten minutes of discussion, the cafeteria project was officially decided.

Moreover, the principal's attitude toward Akira subtly changed.

He hadn't expected that a student from his school owned a company worth tens of billions.

The principal soon contacted the Yukinoshita family's construction company.

He also planned to organize student visits to Flash Animation and Future Comics Publishing House.

That morning, during physical education class, Akira was called away by the principal.

The representatives from the Yukinoshita construction company arrived, accompanied by Yukinoshita Haruno herself.

She had once been a student at Sobu High, and the principal still remembered her well.

Now that she was the head of her family's construction company, his tone toward her was filled with respect.

The company soon determined the location and area of the planned cafeteria and presented an estimated price.

The principal was taken aback—it was far lower than expected.

"...I used to study here," Haruno said with a smile when she saw his puzzled look. "Fujimiya-kun and my sister too, met here and became a couple. Sobu High is a special place for us."

"I see," the principal replied, astonished. "So Fujimiya-kun is Miss Yukinoshita's fiancé. My apologies for not realizing that earlier."

Knowing that Yukinoshita Yukino's fiancé was Akira Fujimiya—a young man who had already built a company worth billions—the principal couldn't help but be impressed.

In the future, no matter which path Akira chose, he would surely become someone of top-tier influence.

The construction company drafted the contract.

The school and Akira would each bear half the construction cost.

In addition to the cafeteria, the school would also build a small area for keeping animals. It was a simple project for the construction company, offered as a kind of bonus.

The principal, in a very good mood, thought of the gardening department idea. He took Akira to see an abandoned area once used to grow vegetables.

Since this area would now be used to supply the cafeteria, it was quite large—but it was in need of cleaning.

Akira suggested something, and after listening, the principal nodded in agreement. He then called for the students from the ongoing physical education class.

"Ahem," the principal began seriously. "The school will start planting vegetables again, and the produce will be used for the new cafeteria. You are all part of the school, so instead of spending time on regular P.E., why not contribute and help clean this place? In return, the school will provide you with lunch boxes and drinks for free"

{T/N: I would have run but that free food offer is tempting}

The students exchanged glances—this didn't sound like a bad deal.

So they divided up tasks and began working. Some fetched tools, while others cleared the field.

Akira watched for a while, chatting casually with the principal, until he noticed Yuigahama Yui's gaze on him.

Only then did he step forward to help.

.....

Lunch Break,

All members of the Service Club were now gathered at the student council room.

Meguri Shiromeguri and Isshiki Iroha arrived first.

When Isshiki saw Yukinoshita Yukino, she was immediately subdued by the aura of the second Yukinoshita sister and obediently greeted, "Yukinoshita-senpai."

Since Akira and Yukino had already discussed the plans on their way to school, they quickly moved to talk about the gardening department, cooking department, and plans for raising animals and adopting stray cats.

The area designated for the Gardening Department was the same vegetable field the principal had shown earlier.

Sobu High currently had no gardening department, so the school agreed to establish one under the student council's guidance.

Yukino decided to recruit members through the student council.

Once the cafeteria was completed, every member of the Gardening Department would receive free lunch every day—their main responsibility being to tend to the school garden.

As for the Cooking Department, the school already had a cooking club, but they only practiced recipes at home since the school's cooking classrooms were unavailable for use for them.

Thus, the new Cooking Department would recruit new members as well.

Students in the Cooking Department would have the opportunity to work in the cafeteria during lunch breaks or after school and earn an hourly wage.

They would also take part in caring for the animals, though additional volunteers might be recruited for that task.

Finally, there was the matter of the stray cat adoption.

Yukino assigned that responsibility to Akira for now, allowing only one cat to be adopted and cared for by the student council, for now.

After their discussion ended, Hiratsuka Shizuka entered the room.

Yukino handed her the meeting agenda, which Hiratsuka read over and nodded in approval.

Then, as naturally as ever, she took a dessert from the table, sat down on the sofa, and started eating.

.....

After Lunch,

Ebina Hina printed the student council's recruitment notices for the Gardening and Cooking Departments.

"Currently, recruitment is open to girls only," she said while stacking the papers.

Isshiki Iroha posted the printed flyers on the corridor bulletin boards, humming as she worked.

Akira watched the process quietly, choosing not to intervene.

Seeing the smooth execution of the student council's plans, Hiratsuka Shizuka felt relieved.

Before the lunch break ended, the student council received over ten applications.

Students with prior experience in growing vegetables were prioritized for the Gardening Department, while applicants for the Cooking Department were encouraged to have some part-time experience.

Many students, like Saki Kawasaki, applied simply to earn money for college.

{T/N: Saki has Akira's money but she is not going to used it as long as their is no emergency}

...

Afternoon,

After school ended, Yukinoshita Yukino went to Flash Animation, while Ebina Hina remained in charge of the student council.

Yumiko Miura and Yuigahama Yui no longer needed tutoring so they decided to stay behind with Hina, while Kawasaki Saki had already gone to Future Comics Publishing House early that morning.

Hiratsuka Shizuka brought Kawasaki Keika to Sobu High, where she was temporarily placed under the student council's care.

The newly designated activity rooms for the Gardening and Cooking Departments began cleaning work, supervised by Hiratsuka-sensei.

Meanwhile, Akira visited the tennis club, where Saika Totsuka had brought various videos of professional matches.

No match between professional players was ever simple—each one was a fierce battle of precision and endurance.

Saika had even prepared commentary videos from professional coaches to help Akira learn faster.

And, as expected, Akira didn't disappoint him.

After watching the footage, Akira replicated the moves of the professional players during practice, astonishing Saika with his quick grasp and execution.

Many of Akira's returns and serves were so sharp that Saika struggled to defend.

Hikigaya Hachiman, watching from the sidelines, could only mutter that Akira was some kind of monster.

Hayama Hayato, on the other hand, looked at him with admiration.

As for Isshiki Iroha, she didn't show up at the tennis court today—she stayed behind in the student council room, busy as ever.
