Chapter 4 - "The First Battle"

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The Hero Showcase had officially begun.

Across the endless worlds, the Light Curtain shimmered, projecting its visions.

The story began with a boy selling charcoal.

Caught in a sudden blizzard, the boy found shelter at the foot of the mountain with an old man.

When the storm cleared the next morning, he hurried back home—only to find carnage.

Blood everywhere.

The warm little house where laughter once lived was now soaked in red.

His mother and siblings, who had always clung to one another for survival, lay slaughtered.

The only survivor was his little sister, Nezuko—who had become a man-eating demon.

That cruel, tragic scene shook countless viewers across the heavens.

From then on, the charcoal boy fought to reach his sister's heart, refusing to see her as a monster.

He crossed paths with Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, and his journey began!

To return Nezuko to humanity. To destroy the demon who had killed his family. To break the chain of grief.

The battle between boy and demon had begun.

Even if my body perishes, I will cut down every last demon!

Thus began the blood-soaked tale of sword and steel.

At a crumbling temple, he headbutted a demon into submission for his first kill.

Two years of grueling training on Sagiri Mountain, ending with the impossible feat of slicing through a massive boulder—mastering Water Breathing.

He braved the Demon Slayer Corps' Final Selection, slaying the Hand Demon that had haunted Mt. Fujikasane for forty-seven years. At last, he became a Demon Slayer.

Later, in Asakusa, he encountered Muzan Kibutsuji himself—the Demon King. There, he gained unlikely allies in Tamayo and Yushiro, demons who defied Muzan.

Together with his fellow rookies Zenitsu and Inosuke, he fought at the House of Drums and slew Kyogai, a former Lower Moon.

At Mount Natagumo, he faced Rui of the Lower Five. Pushed to the brink of death, he unleashed the Dance of the Fire God—an echo of the Sun Breathing style.

He almost managed to behead Rui, proving his will to surpass his limits.

With each battle, the charcoal boy grew stronger, earning the admiration of countless beings across the worlds.

Legend of the Condor Heroes world.

"Haha, not bad at all! That charcoal boy's spirit is unyielding. He charges ahead without hesitation, guided by a pure, childlike heart. Rare, truly rare!"Hong Qigong, the Beggar Sect leader, praised as he tore into a roasted chicken with gusto.

"Brother Jing is just like that too!" Huang Rong, the lively young beauty, puffed up her cheeks. "If he were in the charcoal boy's shoes, he'd definitely do the same!"

"Hah! You little girl, always going on about 'Brother Jing, Brother Jing.' That fool isn't nearly as great as you make him out to be."Hong Qigong shook his head helplessly.

The World of The Outcast.

Company Headquarters.A temporary meeting.

The six temp workers who had just returned from the Biyou Village incident were gathered once again.

"To face immortal demons with just a mortal body… even if it's from Japan, they're still heroes worthy of respect!"Sentimental Old Meng wiped the tears welling in his eyes.

"Slaying creatures that can't die? The Demon Slayer Corps aren't ordinary mortals, that's for sure."The blond pretty boy Wang Zhenqiu arched a brow.

"I dug through some ancient texts about their breathing techniques," said Er Zhuang, the ghost girl who lived online. "Turns out, breathing methods like that might've started on our side! Maybe we could even try practicing it ourselves."

"I'm less interested in the breathing styles." Xiao Zizai, with his serene, monk-like face, pushed his golden-rimmed glasses up his nose. His pupils gleamed with a dangerous hunger. "What I really want to know is—do those demons still exist in some corner of this world? I… I want to catch one. Even just one."

His smile turned sharp."I want to see if they're truly immortal."

"Uh… Brother Xiao, maybe tone it down a little. You look scary."Zhang Chulan gave a strained laugh.

Rurouni Kenshin world.

"To channel one's body through a unique breathing method… to unleash sword techniques of such power!"Himura Kenshin stroked the back edge of his reverse-blade sword, lost in thought, sensing new possibilities.

The Qin's Moon world.

"To breathe, channeling the sword until it can split a boulder without breaking its edge… Brother, it seems Japan has sword masters of astonishing caliber as well."Wei Zhuang, lord of Quicksand, spoke in his low voice.

"Mm."Gai Nie, the Sword Saint, nodded gravely.

Yet Gai Nie's thoughts weren't on the charcoal boy. What haunted him was the fleeting glimpse of another—red-haired, wielding a sword like dawn breaking.

His name: Yoriichi Tsugikuni.

Gai Nie's instincts whispered: He is the true pinnacle of the Demon Slayer Corps.

"I've seen mention of breathing methods in the books of Ghost Valley," Gai Nie said quietly. "Looks like I'll have to put more study into it, Xiao Zhuang."

Mieruko-chan world.

After her bath, Miko Yotsuya slipped into fresh underwear and sighed in relief.

Watching the charcoal boy on the Light Curtain, her eyes sparkled.

"If only I had a friend like him… a real Demon Slayer."Her heart throbbed with quiet longing.

Jackie Chan Adventures world.

In America, Section 13 Headquarters.

"Uncle Jackie! No time to explain! Section 13, move out!" Jade was practically bouncing with excitement.

"Move out? Move out where?" Jackie sighed, holding his niece up by the back of her shirt like a kitten.

"Obviously to join the Demon Slayer Corps! To help fight demons!" Jade flailed her fists and legs, thrilled by the idea.

"No! Absolutely not! These demons are immortal man-eaters—it's way too dangerous!" Jackie's tone was firm.

"It's fine, Uncle! Shendu was immortal too, and way scarier than them. And besides—we've got the Talismans!"

Jade grinned mischievously and opened her palm, showing him the glowing charms.

"The Dog and Horse Talismans can make me immortal and invincible too!"

"Whaaaat?! Jade! What have you done now?!"Jackie nearly fainted.

Dragon Raja world.

In Japan, inside a certain host club.

"Boss, Senior, I didn't think this tiny island country would have so many hidden monsters. But… what if those demons are lurking among us right now?"Lu Sakura Mingfei asked nervously.

"A race of demons born from the blood of a Demon King… it's like a vampire lord and his brood."Caesar Gattuso, the blond aristocrat, casually flipped his golden hair.

"Not vampires." Chu Zihang's face stayed cold, his voice steady. "More like a branch of Dragon Servitors under some Dragon King. Their Blood Demon Arts… they could just be another form of speech spirit."

"But the archives of the Academy are clear." Caesar shook his head. "We know of the Four Kings—Bronze and Fire, Earth and Mountain, Ocean and Water, Sky and Wind. Their servitor factions are well-documented. Nowhere do the records mention demons."

"Which means," Chu Zihang said flatly, "they serve a Dragon King unknown to us. And when you connect that with the Serpents, the Deadpool Gang, and what we've run into before…"

Lu Mingfei shivered.His lips trembled.

"The White King's bloodline!"

Chu Zihang enunciated each word with heavy finality.

"This trip to Japan… it's going to be far more dangerous than we imagined."
