"Ah... it hurts, it hurts!"
Inside the massive sinkhole, the immense side effects of the Dark-Dark Fruit caused Blackbeard to writhe in pain. He quickly activated his Devil Fruit ability, absorbing the residual lightning within his body before finally gasping for air and struggling to stand up.
"Damn it!" He glared at Eneru, who stood confidently on the Moby Dick, then glanced grimly at his still-smoking subordinates lying behind him. He quickly regained his composure and let out a burst of arrogant laughter. "Zehahahahaha! As expected of the strongest Logia-type Devil Fruit, the Rumble-Rumble Fruit is truly terrifying!"
Seeing Blackbeard stand up so quickly made Eneru frown slightly. However, remembering his orders from Kaido, he narrowed his eyes and spoke. "You're not bad either. To take a Divine Punishment from me and still be able to stand up so fast!"
"Zehahahahaha, of course! I won't die here before my dream is realized!" Teach's eyes glinted slyly. "However, are the Beasts Pirates here to save Whitebeard? I don't recall when the Whitebeard Pirates and the Beasts Pirates became so close!"
Eneru, who once ruled Sky Island and possessed powerful Observation Haki, easily saw through Teach's simple trick. His gaze swept over everyone present. "Don't worry, Big Brother Kaido isn't interested in this pathetic war. He's just very interested in this occasion!"
"Occasion!" Everyone was confused.
Sengoku stepped forward, his expression grave, and roared, "Kaido, what exactly does he intend to do?"
Eneru raised an eyebrow, his gaze directed upward. "Why don't you just ask him yourself? Then you'll know!"
"!!!" Sengoku was momentarily stunned, but then he understood. He suddenly raised his head. Everyone else present immediately grasped the meaning and looked up at the sky, all taken aback by what they saw.
"What is this?" "When did this happen?"
In an instant, the atmosphere over Marineford became overwhelmingly tense. Above the island, the sky had become overcast at some unknown point. Rolling dark clouds, seemingly engulfing the heavens and earth, swept outwards from directly above Marineford.
Whoosh!
The originally calm Marineford was suddenly struck by a violent hurricane, blowing so fiercely that many people couldn't even keep their eyes open. Within the dark clouds, lightning and thunder began to flash. Illuminated by the eerie light, a figure resembling an ancient demon could be vaguely seen.
"This... what is this feeling?"
The moment they caught sight of the terrifying silhouette, everyone present felt their hearts being squeezed. A dreadful aura descended from the sky, pressing down on every soul on the battlefield. Ordinary Marines, unable to withstand the sheer pressure, found their legs buckling and half-knelt on the ground. Marine Vice-Admirals felt their hair stand on end, cold sweat streaming down their foreheads.
"This... what kind of monster is this?" Smoker, the Smoke-Smoke Fruit user among the Marines, felt a bone-chilling coldness. Beside him, Hina gritted her teeth, enduring the deep-seated fear as she stared at the terrifying figure hidden in the dark clouds above. "He hasn't even fully appeared yet, and my body is trembling with fear..."
Among the Shichibukai, Hawkeye (Dracule Mihawk) gazed sharply at the sky. He had long heard the news that Shanks had been defeated by Kaido. Although he suspected the reports were exaggerated, feeling the terrifying aura emanating from above, he realized the news might not have been fake after all.
Doflamingo, who was confronting Crocodile, had a few drops of cold sweat on his forehead. A wide smile stretched across his lips as he commented, "Fufufufu... how terrifying. Is this the oppressive feeling of the world's strongest creature?".
Crocodile, opposite him, also wore a grim expression. Is it a hallucination? He wondered. He couldn't shake the feeling that the gigantic body hidden in the dark clouds was even more terrifying than Whitebeard, the man known as the world's strongest, who was standing right before his eyes.
Boa Hancock, known as the world's most beautiful woman, nervously bit her finger as she felt this terrifying aura. Since she became a Shichibukai, she had deliberately avoided contact with Kaido of the Beasts, also one of the Four Emperors. At this moment, she finally understood how truly terrifying a genuine Yonko was compared to the aging Whitebeard.
As for Moriah, his body was trembling. He looked at the sky in sheer terror. This terrifying aura once again reminded him of the pain of being defeated by Kaido and losing everything he had.
"This... what is this?" Beside Jinbe and Emporio Ivankov, Luffy looked at his own trembling hands and asked in disbelief.
It was Jinbe who answered him. "Kaido of the Beasts!"
Without Luffy needing to ask further, Ivankov added, "He's a pirate, just like Whitebeard, known as the strongest creature in the New World. There are four such pirates in total: Whitebeard, Red Hair, Kaido, and Charlotte Linlin. They are known as the Four Emperors of the New World, the emperors who rule that sea."
"Shanks!?" Luffy was shocked. In his heart, Shanks was the most powerful pirate. He had never imagined that besides Uncle Whitebeard, there were two other pirates of such overwhelming strength.
Jinbe, however, thought of something else and offered a comforting thought. "This might actually be a good thing!"
Luffy and Ivankov were stunned. Then Ivankov realized Jinbe's meaning and said in surprise, "That's right! Kaido is Yamato-chan's father. He might be the key to ending this war!"
In the center of the battlefield, Yamato and Ace, who were supporting each other, looked up at the sky with complex emotions.
"Yamato!" Ace clutched his arm, looking at the sky, then at Yamato, whose expression was unreadable.
Yamato lowered her head, looking as if she didn't want to speak a single word.
On the execution platform, Sengoku felt the terrifying aura and frowned deeply, his gaze fixed on the sky. Fortunately, someone walked up behind him.
"Kaido has gotten stronger," the person noted.
"Garp!" It was Garp, blood still trickling from his forehead.
"Don't worry," Garp assured him. "Although as a grandfather, sometimes it's difficult for me to make a choice, I will not go easy on pirates!"
At the same time, on one side of the massive chasm, Whitebeard, the world's strongest man, looked at the rolling dark clouds above. He felt the terrifying aura emanating from them, his brows tightly furrowed. He hadn't expected that after all these years, that brat from the Rocks Pirates would grow to such an extent. It seemed the newspaper reports about his recent battle with Red Hair weren't just empty gossip.
Thinking of this, he looked at Yamato, who was by Ace's side. Is this good or bad?
However, the question was no longer important. He curled a confident smile at the corner of his mouth, looked up at the sky, and roared, "Gurarahahaha! Kaido, you stinky brat, do you like to play tricks now?".
Whitebeard's words immediately broke the strained, tense atmosphere on the battlefield.
"Worororo..." A cheerful, deep laugh echoed from within the thick clouds.
Accompanied by massive dragon claws stepping on fire clouds, emerging one by one from the clouds, a figure filled the entire Marineford sky. A giant dragon, covering the sun, descended from above. Its massive, mountain-like dragon head was held high, and its large, imposing eyes looked down at Whitebeard below.
"Whitebeard, you really look pathetic right now..."
