"That's incredible! Our ancestors never would have believed a Saiyan like Lin Hao could be this powerful he destroyed Majin Buu in one strike!"
Supreme Kai (Shin) was practically jumping with excitement.
"Indeed. I didn't expect that boy to reach Super Saiyan 2—and to think he annihilated Buu so easily. The Saiyan race truly is remarkable!"
The Elder Kai nodded, stroking his beard with satisfaction.
"At least now we won't have to worry about Majin Buu wiping out the universe again," Shin said, finally exhaling in relief.

Meanwhile, on Earth – West City, in front of Capsule Corporation
"Huh? Where... are we?"
The four warriors slowly regained consciousness, blinking as they took in the familiar scenery of Bulma's garden.
"You're awake already? Don't tell me you've forgotten what happened?"
Leaning casually against one of the marble pillars of Bulma's courtyard pavilion, Lin Hao looked at them with a faint smile.
"Lin Hao? Why are you here? Wait what about Majin Buu?!"
Son Goku's eyes widened as memories of the battle rushed back.
"Well, he's right beside you," Lin Hao said, pointing lazily toward Fat Buu.
"Huh?"
"Wh—what?!"
Startled, Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan immediately jumped back into fighting stances when they noticed the pink creature sitting nearby.
"Relax," Lin Hao said, waving a hand. "That's the good Buu. The evil half the one who destroyed everything has been completely erased by me."
"What? You should've said that earlier, Lin Hao! You nearly gave me a heart attack!"
Goku laughed awkwardly, though he could sense the change this Buu's ki was calm, not malicious like before.
"Hmph. So you're the one who defeated that monster, Lin Hao?" Vegeta said coldly, his sharp eyes narrowing.
"Yeah. He was troublesome, but once I got serious, it only took a moment. If I hadn't wasted time saving you three, it would've ended even sooner," Lin Hao replied coolly.
"Tch... this bastard..."
Vegeta clenched his fists. He knew exactly how strong Majin Buu had been his own final explosion had barely scratched the creature, and in the end, he'd been absorbed. Remembering that humiliation made his blood boil.
"Uncle Lin Hao! I can't believe how strong you've become after just a few years! You defeated the same Buu that both Dad and I struggled against!"
Gohan said, eyes full of admiration.
Lin Hao shrugged. "It's nothing. If you keep training, you'll surpass that level too someday."
"That's amazing! Hey Lin Hao, how about a match? I want to see your true power for myself!"
Goku grinned, excitement lighting up his face.
"Sure, but not here. The Earth can't handle a fight between us. Let's go to the Supreme Kai's world."
Lin Hao nodded, his tone calm but confident.
"Great! Let's head there right now!"
Goku cheered, his Saiyan blood already boiling at the thought of a real challenge.
"I'm coming too," Vegeta said, crossing his arms. "I want to see with my own eyes just how strong you really are."
"Fine by me. Come closer, and place your hands on my shoulders, I'll take us there instantly."
The three warriors stepped forward. A faint hum filled the air as Lin Hao's aura flared, and with a flash of light, they vanished from Capsule Corp., reappearing moments later in the serene realm of the Supreme Kai.
Supreme Kai's World
Seeing Lin Hao, Goku, and the others suddenly appear on the Sacred World of the Kai, Supreme Kai (Shin) stepped forward with a startled expression.
"Huh? Goku? Why are you here all of a sudden?"
The Elder Kai beside him frowned, his wrinkled face filled with doubt.
"Sir Supreme Kai, we came here to have a sparring match!"
Goku grinned and scratched the back of his head.
Shin's expression froze.
What?! Fight—here?
Did they lose their minds? This was the most sacred and stable world in the universe—created by the Kaiōshins themselves! If two Saiyans fought seriously here, the entire realm could collapse!
"Hey! Can't you fight somewhere else? You'll end up destroying this world!"
The Elder Kai shouted angrily, waving his cane.
"Relax, old man," Lin Hao said with a faint smile. "The Supreme Kai world is tougher than you think. Don't worry we'll finish quickly. Goku, show me your best. Otherwise, you'll lose before you realize it."
"The strongest form, huh? In that case…"
Goku grinned, stepping back. His aura exploded with a thunderous roar.
"Aaaaaah!"
Golden energy surged around him like a storm. Lightning bolts crackled as the ground split and floating rocks began to rise. The entire Kaiōshin realm trembled under his Super Saiyan 3 power.
Lin Hao's expression hardened, eyes narrowing. "All right then let's make this fun."
He let his own energy rise, transforming into a Super Saiyan. Though his aura was calm, the air itself seemed to bend under his power. His ki far surpassed Goku's—even though he hadn't gone beyond the first form.
"Huh? Lin Hao only turned Super Saiyan, but his energy's stronger than my Super Saiyan 3… How is that possible?"
Goku's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Impossible… Just a Super Saiyan, and he's already beyond us?!"
Vegeta muttered, his fists trembling.
Over the years, he'd trained endlessly, pushing himself to reach new heights. Yet Goku still surpassed him and now this Lin Hao had gone even further, casually crushing the level he'd worked so hard for.
"Damn it! Has all my training been for nothing?!"
Vegeta gritted his teeth, frustration burning in his chest.
"Wow! Uncle Lin Hao is amazing! He's only in Super Saiyan form, but his energy is unbelievable!"
Gohan said in awe, his eyes shining with admiration.
"Come on, Goku," Lin Hao said, raising one hand and gesturing forward.
"Here I come!"
With that, Goku's figure vanished in a burst of speed. In an instant, he reappeared right in front of Lin Hao, his fist already swinging.
"Not bad," Lin Hao said calmly, raising his right hand to block.
"BOOM!"
The shockwave rippled across the Kaiōshin world, shaking the floating mountains.
Before Goku could retreat, Lin Hao spun and swept his leg in a blur, kicking Goku backward.
"Ugh!"
Goku crashed into the ground, but instantly vanished again using Instant Transmission.
Lin Hao's eyes flickered too late. His fist swung down and smashed into the ground, carving a massive crater in the sacred soil as energy surged outward in every direction.
