Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – The Ding That Changed Everything

Arjun was an ordinary college student—or at least, that's what everyone thought. He skipped lectures, binged anime until three in the morning, and spent weekends rewatching his favorite movie trilogies. To him, fiction was more real than reality.

So when a truck's blinding headlights came rushing toward him one rainy night, his last thought wasn't about his family or future. It was:

"Damn… I'll never know what happens in the next season."

Darkness.

Then—

Ding!

> [Welcome, Host! You have been chosen for the Multiversal Travel System.]

Arjun's eyes flew open. He wasn't in a hospital, nor on a road. He stood in an endless white void with floating screens around him, each showing familiar scenes—anime fights, Hollywood blockbusters, and fantasy adventures.

"Wha—? This is… Naruto? That's… The Avengers?! Wait, is that One Piece?"

The screen flickered again.

[System Initialization Complete.]

[You may now travel freely between Fictional Realms.]

[Beginner Gift Pack Available. Would you like to open it?]

Arjun's gamer instincts kicked in. "Of course! Open it!"

Ding! Gift Pack Contents:

Basic Multiverse Passport (Unlimited Worlds Access)

1000 Credits

Plot Armor (Beginner Level – prevents death from cannon-fodder attacks)

Universal Translator

Arjun's heart raced. This was no dream. No hallucination. The screens shimmered, and he suddenly stood at a crossroads with glowing doors: one marked Anime, another Movies, and the third Series.

He laughed, half terrified, half thrilled. "I can… actually go inside?!"

His hand trembled as he reached for the first door—bright red with the symbol of a hidden leaf etched on it.

"Alright then… if I'm going to test this system… let's see what it feels like to stand in Konoha."

And with that, he stepped forward, beginning a journey no otaku had ever dreamed possible.

But Arjun froze at the threshold. The red door shimmered with chakra energy, humming like a living thing. He could almost smell the smoke of battle drifting from the other side.

But his heart, once pounding with excitement, now thudded with unease.

"Wait… what am I even doing? This isn't a video game. If I step into Naruto's world, I'll be a weak civilian surrounded by people who can destroy mountains. One stray kunai and I'm done. Even with beginner 'plot armor,' I'd die the moment I meet an Akatsuki member."

He backed away quickly.

The system's voice echoed again, calm and mechanical:

> [Host, please select your destination world.]

Arjun frowned. "No. Not yet. I need to prepare. I'm not dying as background filler."

He glanced at the glowing doors—Anime, Movies, Series—each one tempting and terrifying. Then his eyes drifted upward to the translucent menu bar. Something caught his attention.

[Multiversal Shop – SALE!]

Arjun's otaku instincts tingled. "...Shop?"

The screen expanded. Rows of items scrolled past—magic grimoires, alien artifacts, potions, even famous weapons. His jaw dropped when he spotted one familiar name:

Superman Gene Serum

Arjun's eyes widened. "What—? 90% off?! That's literally all the credits I have!"

He hesitated only for a second. "Screw it! This is fate!"

> [Purchase Successful!]

[Would you like to use the Superman Gene Serum now?]

Arjun didn't even think. "Yes!"

A vial of glowing blue liquid appeared in his hands. Without hesitation, he downed it. Fire spread through his veins, his vision blurring as his body shook violently.

He collapsed to his knees, clutching his chest as his bones cracked, muscles tore, and reformed stronger than steel. Every cell screamed, then rejoiced as sunlight from the void above poured into him like fuel.

The pain was unbearable. The power intoxicating.

When it finally ended, Arjun gasped for breath, his body drenched in sweat. But when he looked at his hands, they were steady. Firm. Unshakable.

"Holy… crap," he whispered, flexing his fingers. The void itself seemed lighter around him. His senses sharper. His heart stronger.

The system chimed:

> [Superman Gene Serum: Successfully Integrated.]

[Current Power: 1% of Superman Potential. Further growth requires sunlight absorption and training.]

Arjun burst out laughing, half-mad, half-thrilled. "One percent or not… I just became a damn Kryptonian!"

He glanced back at the tutorial door that awaited him. His grin turned sharp.

"Alright then. Let's see what I can do now."

And with renewed confidence—and dangerous ambition—he stepped forward.
