Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

---

As soon as I closed the door to my allotted room, I let out a breath I didn't even realize I had been holding. That was exhausting.

I knew I should feel something more—happiness, exhilaration, maybe even shock at being granted a lordship. But all I felt was tired. And the strangest part? I couldn't believe how intelligent I had become.

The moment Lord Stark mentioned making me the Lord of Sea Dragon Point, my mind instantly mapped out every possibility—problems, solutions, risks, and rewards. Everything fell into place like an intricate puzzle, as if my brain had been running simulations in the background.

I was never stupid in my past life, but this… this was something else entirely.

Then there were the emotions I should have felt. I should have been overwhelmed with joy when I was granted a lordship, or at least nervous when Lord Stark's demeanor shifted after I stated my conditions. Instead, all I felt was mild happiness and discomfort. Nothing more.

I shook my head. It wasn't worth dwelling on. Right now, I had something far more important to check—my store system.

The moment I thought about it, a translucent blue interface materialized in front of me. A loading symbol spun in the center before fading, revealing a search bar at the top, followed by several categorized icons labeled Plants, Animals, Crops, Materials, Blueprints, and more.

Curious, I clicked on the Crops section.

A new screen popped up, displaying a massive list of agricultural options. There were common crops like wheat, rice, barley, and root vegetables. Then there were more exotic varieties—Sun Wheat, Moon Rice, Golden Carrots—all labeled as "Low Quality." These could be purchased with either gold dragons or store points.

Then there were the truly absurd options—things that defied logic.

One entry caught my attention: Water Tree.

> Produces both freshwater and seawater, depending on the variant. Capable of supplying an entire city's water needs.

I checked the price.

It was so expensive that even if I saved every coin I earned for the rest of my life, I still wouldn't be able to afford it.

Damn.

Leaving the Crops section, I explored the others. The Blueprints section had detailed plans for ships, bridges, castles, and even entire cities. The Animals section offered everything from livestock to fantastical creatures. The Materials section contained all sorts of resources—both mundane and magical.

It was overwhelming.

This was more than just a store. It was a Walmart on steroids—filled with both practical necessities and reality-defying marvels.

And then there was the Knowledge section.

It offered insights into historical land and naval battles, engineering principles, woodworking, and even governance. Unlike other items, purchasing knowledge wouldn't instantly download it into my brain, but it would provide me with books and learning materials. With my Space Marine-enhanced brain, mastering those subjects would be far easier than for an ordinary person.

The sheer potential was staggering.

If I could get the right people to help me, I wouldn't just turn Sea Dragon Point into a military port—I could transform it into an economic powerhouse.

I grinned.

Lord Stark wanted me to defend the western coast from Ironborn raiders. Fine. I'd do that. But I'd also make sure Sea Dragon Point became something far greater.

Suddenly, I felt very satisfied with my earlier decision.

> I'm really glad I asked Lord Stark for that 1,000 gold dragon loan.
