Chapter 10 - Carrying all of yesterday's trials and tribulations~ To trade for a bit of bliss and happiness tomorrow~

"Aiya, you're too emotional, bro!"

Upon hearing this, the Abundance Denizens present were moved to tears of gratitude.

The situation had originally been in their favor, but after Leon spoke,

they immediately retreated. They stopped fighting and abandoned everything to gather together, just like a full-scale evacuation.

The Abundance Denizens crowded together densely, flocking into one Beast Ship after another, not even stopping when they were hit by sneak attacks from behind.

It would be no exaggeration to say they had gone completely insane.

This victory without a fight left many of the Xianzhou soldiers who had survived by the skin of their teeth completely dumbfounded.

They couldn't for the life of them figure out what disease had afflicted this group of Abundance Denizens. Why would they just stop fighting when they were doing so well?

Could something big be coming?

This thought surfaced in the minds of the Xianzhou people simultaneously.

"Hey, bro, we'll just leave these supplies here for you. Don't let it spoil your mood. Our bad about this time, really!"

The next moment, something big did indeed arrive. The Abundance Denizens who had just retreated into their Beast Ships suddenly walked back out.

The difference was that they had returned empty-handed last time, but this time they came out carrying large and small bundles.

Crimson Spring, precious metals and treasures, unique biotechnology, and various other miscellaneous items were piled up on the ground.

Fleet by fleet, they repeated this cycle, delivering an innumerable amount of goods. It was no exaggeration to say they could have built a small mountain.

The Abundance Denizens brought out everything they could carry, stopping just short of giving him the very Beast Ships they were riding in.

"Hah, with an attitude like that, what can I even say? Let's not make a big deal out of it. Let's just say this is us brothers making a new friend."

Leon spoke in a "we're all bros here" tone.

"As expected of someone from Freljord! Well then, bro, we're done here, so we'll be taking off. Keep in touch!" xN

After paying their reparations, the Abundance Denizens raised their arms—of various species—waving them left and right as they spoke and re-boarded their Beast Ships.

This time, they were really preparing to leave.

Carrying all the hardships of yesterday~ to trade for a bit of happiness and bliss tomorrow~

A completely unfamiliar BGM spontaneously emanated from the Qian console, resounding throughout the area and leaving Jingtian momentarily dumbfounded.

That bastard Leon was using his precious Sky-Peering Mirror as a sound system for the Abundance Denizens!

"Heh, isn't this something else!"

Leon watched their fleet ascend into the sky, pressing his hands together and shaking them. Can't skip the proper procedures.

"You're just going to let them leave safely like this?"

Yueyu asked with doubt, wanting to know his next move.

"Do you like fireworks?"

Leon said as much, raising his bow towards the sky, aiming and drawing the string.

"What?"

Yueyu didn't understand what he meant.

Leon just smiled without a word, continuing to draw back the arrow.

Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh!

An endless supply of Imaginary energy surged from him, gathering in the bow!

Release the string, draw the bow, release again, one arrow after another!

He seemed to be under no strain at all as he continuously fired off these extremely costly attacks!

BOOM!

A critical arrow struck a Beast Ship dead center, piercing through its hull!

Unlike the Xianzhou, the technology of the Borisin was hardcore stuff!

Whether it was their vehicles or their weapons, they were all living organisms. To put it vividly, they all possessed life.

Having life meant they would react to things like being hit with autonomous healing behaviors, which greatly increased the Abundance Denizens' ability to avoid being shot down.

But in the face of Leon's overwhelming stats, it was undoubtedly useless.

The terrifying flesh and blood that constituted the entire ship's body was exposed.

It writhed, bewildered.

It wanted to seal the breach, but due to The Hunt's special effectiveness against Abundance, its efforts were forever in vain. The hole only grew larger and larger.

RUMBLE!!

The light arrow Leon fired exploded with a bang!

Not a single Beast Ship that had just taken off was spared. All were engulfed in a brilliant violet light that rivaled the dawn!

To put it in gamer terms, the sheer dominance of the attack was like dropping a screen-clearing ultimate from an overpowered character in a tower defense game!

The Beast Ships exploded one after another, their hulls turning to embers in the brilliant light, scattering and falling. The spectacular scene created by the explosions in the sky was like a magnificent fireworks display!

"So this is the direct disciple of the Reignbow Arbiter..."

Yueyu murmured, watching the grand spectacle above before shifting her gaze back to Leon's silhouette.

She had noticed it just now when he drew his bow.

The longbow in Leon's hand was the proof of his status as a Heavenly General of the Reignbow Arbiter!

In other words, it was a gift on the same level as her "Feihuang"!

This was truly extraordinary!

One had to understand that the bow and arrow were intrinsically linked to the Aeon of The Hunt, yet not a single one of the seven Heavenly Generals' guardian spirits was related to them!

If the Heavenly Generals were the direct lineage of The Hunt, then Leon was its direct disciple!

It was no exaggeration to say he stood above everyone else!

Even looking back at the entire history of the Xianzhou, there was absolutely no record of anyone receiving a bow-type blessing from the Aeon of The Hunt!

No wonder he was like the crown prince of The Hunt!

Honestly, to say something a bit disrespectful, just based on the bow in his hands, there wouldn't be much of a problem even if he wanted to become the next Marshal!

"Killing them this way is still faster."

Leon nodded with satisfaction.

Letting these Abundance Denizens scatter on the ground would have taken more effort. It was much more convenient to let them all board the Beast Ships and wipe them out in one go with a few arrows!

"Alright, let me give you some instructions for what comes next."

Leon held the bow in one hand and swiped the Qian console with his free hand, returning it to the Divination Master.

"That Crimson Spring is good stuff. If any soldiers are seriously injured, make sure they use it on the spot."

This thing called Crimson Spring was really like a little red potion from a game. One bottle could heal a person on the brink of death. It was genuinely not bad.

"Yes..."

Jingtian replied in a bit of a daze, seeming not to have fully recovered his wits.

Leon's duality of god and demon sent his emotions on a roller coaster, up one moment and down the next.

His absurdity left Jingtian speechless, and his power left Jingtian equally shaken.

In this state, it would be a miracle if Jingtian could recover so quickly!

"Where do you plan to go next?"

Yueyu looked at Leon, who was crouching to the side with the bow on his back, and asked.

"I don't know."

Leon answered truthfully.

If he had to name a goal, it would be to try and help his "senior" clean up some of the Abundance abominations.

Although the power coursing through him had been scammed from the big guy, in those few moments when Lan taught him to draw an arrow, he could feel His sincerity.

Besides, this "hypnosis" wasn't permanently effective.

It's not like he was constantly calling Lan "bro" in his ear.

The fact that Emanators were ranked below Aeons, and that an Emanator could only be born after receiving a blessing from an Aeon, made it clear.

An Aeon must hold absolute suppressive power over their Emanators, just like a pink detonator, able to easily control others with a single press.

I really have to control you.jpg

In other words, if Lan wanted to take back this power, He would have done so long ago.

The fact that He hadn't taken it back yet clearly meant that He acknowledged him.

This was the first act of kindness he had received since coming to this other world.

Leon was actually a very simple person at heart.

Whoever was good to him, he would be good to them. Whoever wanted to kill him, he would kill them!

Since Lan acknowledged him,

then he certainly wouldn't mind continuing to carry out the will of "The Hunt." Both emotionally and rationally, helping to eliminate some Abundance abominations was the right thing to do.

Besides, high stats were an addictive thing.

Once a person experiences it, they will only pursue stronger, more dominant, more "wheelchair" characters.

They wouldn't go pulling for those stinky mid-tier ones.

Leon was the same.

The deeper he walked the path of "The Hunt," the greater his own power would grow. How could a gamer like him, who craved high stats, possibly resist?

He was too eager to improve!

Leon fantasized, already impatient for the power-ranking charts to create a whole new tier just for him!

Absolute power that crushes all resistance, stats that transcend all mechanics—

The Realm of the Celestial Emperor!
