Chapter 102 - Chapter 102: War Ghost Champion

Whoosh!

The Dark Bible flew into the demon's phantom hands, as if claiming its master. It ignited alongside Kitami Reika's flesh, forming a blazing ring!

Beyond the ring lay another dimension. A demon eagerly stepped through, entering the human world.

Standing three meters tall, its robust frame gleamed black-green like steel, resembling a hairless, upright goat.

"With your body, this world is mine!" the horned demon roared, its throat clanging like swords, the metallic soundwaves cracking the walls.

Su Ze stood unfazed, pondering if demons, as supernatural entities, could be recycled.

No time like the present. He lunged, teleporting before the demon, seizing its wrist.

[Item possesses self-awareness. Cannot be recycled.]

So, non-sentient items could be?

Before he could test further, a massive claw swiped down.

The air split, five streams of force trailing.

Boom!

Su Ze powered through, hurling the demon with a back throw.

Its massive form smashed through the wall.

His ghost eyes scanned, piercing the demon's body, revealing multiple hearts, guts, and alien bones.

The demon rose from the rubble, unscathed.

Su Ze didn't give it breathing room. He charged, and man and demon clashed fiercely.

The demon's physique was monstrous, but it knew nothing of combat technique, retreating under Su Ze's onslaught!

In moments, he found weaknesses. Hand blades, heavy fists, and whip-like kicks—human weapons—rained down, scarring its steel-hard body, blood flowing freely!

Bang, bang, bang!

Su Ze's arms blurred, landing dozens of punches in a breath, each over a hundred tons, pummeling the demon's chest.

"Enough!" it shrieked.

A strange pulse accompanied its roar, enveloping Su Ze.

His body froze, sinking as if crushed by immense gravity.

"Zazas!"

"Vile Aura!"

The demon thrust a hand forward, a wicked black glow striking Su Ze.

Dizziness, fear, weakness, gravity, burning, cold, blades, bleeding, disease—countless debuffs assaulted him!

His mind darkened, nearly blacking out.

His robust vitality countered some supernatural control.

But this demon's rank was too high.

It was like a higher dimension crushing a lower one.

Without his War Demon bloodline's resilience, he'd have been snuffed out instantly.

That same resilience drew the demon's greed, prompting its risky gambit.

"Submit to my seed!" The demon tore off its loincloth, eager to implant itself in Su Ze.

Once in the human world, demons couldn't retreat.

The mortal realm suppressed them, and anti-demon groups hunted them.

It needed Su Ze's body—now.

Su Ze had 30,000 desire points left for a teleport talisman—his second trump card.

But… his eyes flickered. "System, how much for this demon's corpse?"

[300,000–500,000]

Su Ze was stunned.

A demon was worth that much?

As it closed in, he activated his World-Walker talent.

The world turned grayscale, frozen.

Then, colors returned, but the scene shifted—not the warehouse, but a medical room!

Dr. Eiichi gaped, bewildered.

How had his patient transformed in a blink? Who dosed him with hallucinogens?

Su Ze lay on the bed, his bloodthirsty aura fading, muscles settling, but his battle lust lingered.

Always hosting or heading to hedonistic revels.

Finally, a real fight, cut short.

How could he be happy?

The underworld's power levels were high but impure, unfit for true combat.

"You're Su Ze?" Eiichi asked, eyeing his restored, handsome face uncertainly.

Su Ze's eyes gleamed with profound light, his mental force invading Eiichi's mind.

"Your fighter battles are brutal. Clothes torn to shreds," Eiichi suddenly remarked, fetching a fresh set for Su Ze.

In the shower, cold water splashed, steaming off Su Ze's skin.

It cooled his body but not his inner fire.

This pent-up desire, unvented, was maddening—like an itch he couldn't scratch.

"Damn it!" Su Ze growled, punching the wall.

Pipes burst, water spraying.

He stepped out, naked, exhaling. Water droplets evaporated instantly. Dressing, he left the bathroom.

This was Eiichi's lounge, connected to the medical room.

In the medical room, Eiichi tended a patient—mercenary Mutaba, likely defeated by rival Honna Kina.

"Well, well! Who's this?" Mutaba sweated, not from pain but fear.

He'd once quelled armed rebels barehanded. Though blind, his other senses were razor-sharp!

He sensed a beast—tiger, T-Rex, monster—in his range, his instincts recoiling, avoiding contact.

"That's 'War Ghost' Su Ze, last round's contender," Eiichi said, grinning, revealing Su Ze's new title.

"So it's him." Mutaba's mouth twitched, falling silent.

Su Ze asked, "Got a training room?"

"Training room…" Eiichi hesitated. "There is one, but your condition doesn't seem fit for it."

Su Ze's face flickered purple and green, like a terminally ill patient, with occasional sparks of fire and frost on his skin.

The demon's curse lingered.

"It'll do. Take me," Su Ze said, wiping a stray blood mark from his cheek.

The curse wasn't permanent.

His War Demon bloodline's insane recovery would outlast it.

Eiichi glanced at Mutaba.

"Take him. I'm not dying," Mutaba said quickly.

"Alright." Eiichi nodded.

They left the medical room. Mutaba exhaled, like a diver surfacing, gulping air.

"A demon! Like… a nuke next to me!" he muttered, shaken.

Sharing a room with the "War Ghost" was worse than Honna breaking his bones!

Such a monster's existence was the ultimate unfairness to mortals!
