Chapter 11 - Going back

Your flashbacks come more and easier. You try to hide them but Hailee notes it most of the time. She helps you through it. You trust her fully on those moments and you hate it. You promised yourself that you would never trust anybody again but now you do. She pulls you out of your safe zone where nobody can hurt you or see your feelings.

You walk downstairs, Hailee is working in the kitchen. 'Morning' you say while placing your bag on the ground. 'Good moring!' she turns the radio on while you grab your plate. You hear the music fill the room. You stop all of your movements hearing what song it is. That moment you feel it coming, your vision changes. But this time something is different: your not scared because this isn't a recent memory. This is when you were 9 years old. Your in your old room and your running downstairs into the living room, looking for your parents. You walk in seeing them dancing in the middle of the room. You hear the music coming from the radio. You're joining them laughing. You're all running around in the room dancing. But then, for away in the background you hear a voice: Hailee. No please! The sounds of you and your parents laughing fade away. No no no! You see Hailee sitting with you on the kitchen floor. "Y/n calm down, it's over." "No!" you start screaming in her arms. "Your here y/n, it's okay" she was trying to calm you down from your flashback "No! Let me go back!" you saw the confusion on Hailee her face, you only had flashbacks about the orphanage or Howard and Rory, you never had a 'fun' one. "Y/n.." she was holding you tight, trying to stop you from screaming. "No! I want to go back! Let me go!" tears start walking over your cheeks. "What's wrong with you?" she asked. "I want mom!" you scream out. You get free from her grip and start running upstairs while leaving Hailee on the kitchen floor confused.

Your upstairs crying in your pillow. You don't even know what happened. You haven't seen your parents in 5 years. You never really mourned about your parents their death.
