'oh they're gonna be here in 5 minutes.'
Robert sighed while looking at the mirror. His tired face was reflected in it. His skin was much more lighter than it was before he came to this place. His once energetic eyes ,now didn't seem to have a sem lence of life in them. His hair seemed to have grown pretty long.
Even after 21 years of life he seemed to have only grown a little bit facial hair. Dark circles seemed to have formed under his dark eyes. He looked like he was crazy.
Even though it was supposedly his last day in this hell, he didn't seem happy. That was because he knew it was going to be his last day on this world too. Although, the authorities claimed that he would be free, he knew he wasn't going to be. No one was going to be. Otherwise news about this stuff would've been out pretty long ago. They can't control everyone now,can they?
The door to his cell opened and a guard fully armed and suited came in.
"Come on out you rogue, it's time for your last run."
The guard pushed Robert out of the room.
Robert scowled and followed them reluctantly.
"Don't you dare try anything funny in there." The second guard said in a threatening tone.
Robert ,along with other inmates, were walking in a line. After some time, they reached in front of a thick metal door. The woman standing in the upper layer of the room opened the gates and gestured for the inmates to go in. Robert and others went in, only to be greeted by the sight of a peanut shaped and light brown coloured statue.
The woman instructed the inmates.
"Don't take your eyes off of it, one person should be watching the statue at all time without blinking."
But suddenly the alarm started blaring and a man of relatively short height came running in the door.
"EMERGENCY! The O5 Council has called for an immediate assembly concerning the safety of the world."
Then unexpectedly, the lights went out and all hell broke loose.
"..."
Somewhere else, 5 hours ago:
A man wearing a labcoat spoke while trembling.
" You have to be kidding me."
