"Can I get an ice cream?" I asked whilst holding out my credit card to him.
"Which one?"
"Vanilla."
He soon grabbed an ice cream cone from the side and scooped up a ball of vanilla ice cream on the cone before handing it over to me.
I placed my card against the payment terminal before it beeped.
Telling me the payment was successful.
Turning around, I licked off of the ice cream as I looked around.
The sun lit up the entire sky.
Looking up, the sky was just as blue as the ocean.
Looking down upon us.
Kids, teens and adults roamed around the park.
The children ran around and played games available at the amusement park.
Teens walked together with their friends, waiting in line at the roller coaster.
And the adults waited on the bench as they had a conversation.
"Temuujin!" Mergen called out with my other friends were focused on their snacks.
Noticing his call, I ran towards him.
"Come on, we should hurry up to the drop tower before it fills up."
Me, Mergen, Anand and temuulen dashed towards the tower.
Passing through multiple strangers.
When we reached the gates, the people lined up were finished and only leaving us.
And saw there was just enough seats for all of us.
"Ah, this is a Christmas miracle!" Mergen sounded.
"It's summer." Anand corrected.
"Fuck the calendar! I announce from today onwards, summer will be celebrated as Christmas! And no one can stop me!
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!" Mergen laughed.
"Are you kids getting in or what?" The conductor yelled in annoyance.
We were startled by the sudden outburst and quickly gave our tickets to ride.
I placed down my bag on storage as well as my friends who did the same.
Before we sat right next to each other on our ride.
Our seat belts were buckled and the over the shoulder restraints were placed down.
I grabbed the handle and waited for anticipation.
Then a large clank was heard and it started to move.
Steadily moving upwards.
As it did, I held the rails even tighter.
The belts and restraints even closer to my body.
The wind picked up as I rose up.
Reaching higher and higher planes to the point where I could see the entire park.
The pirate ship swinging back and forth.
The chair swings making the chair go flying across.
The go kart arena with the kids racing.
And especially the small lake in the center of the park.
With a castle and a ship placed right in the middle of that lake.
Where people could enter through a bridge.
Entering inside a restaurant inside.
People can also stroll on the lake with a boat.
"You see that smoke over there?" Temuulen pointed.
"Yes? What is it?" Anand asked.
"That's where they sell skewers. I wanna try out some for myself, you guys wanna come?"
"Yeah! I would like so-"
The carriage dropped.
My whole body lifted up in the air as I closed my eyes and screamed.
And suddenly it stopped.
My body reacted with a sudden jolt by the sudden stop.
"Has it always been this b-"
Yet again, the carriage dropped.

After the drop tower, we headed towards the skewer restaurant.
My friends headed inside whilst I sat on a bench outside.
I looked out through the small lake.
Watching people voyage through the waters with a small boat.
Like one of those scenes from a romance movie where the couple was going out together and one of the moment, they were in a small boat that looked like a duck.
Pedaling to make the boat move through the lake.
And then having a nice little romantic kiss together.
How cute.
The sun reflected off the waters.
Making it shine like a golden lake.
And the bright light piercing through my eyes, burning it.
I turned away as I rubbed my eyes.
"Why are you crying?" Mergen said.
"Who said I was crying?" I replied.
"No one obviously, I was just mocking you." He chuckled lightly and took a bite off of his skewer.
Anand handed me the skewer.
"Thanks for buying me one." I said.
"No problem. I mean that's what friends supposed to do right?"
"Nope! We are supposed to be hating each other right now. I mean doesn't girls already do that?" Mergen chuckled again.
"Don't listen to him temuujin. He's an idiot after all. I mean didn't you once had a zero percent score on the math test before?" Temuulen jokingly said.
Mergen instantly froze, reminding him that he has completely failed his math test.
Not just math but practically all of it except English.
"Yeah, one time, you gave away a blank sheet of paper during the mongolian exam." Anand added on.
"Okay shut up! I don't like school anyways! So it's natural to not have the best grades." He pouted.
"I mean I hate school but that doesn't mean I have to give up my grades." I said.
"Same here." Anand followed.
"Heh, you guys remember when the teacher confronted him about this and said that he was the only student in the whole school that does thi-"
"I said shut up!" Mergen blushed red and grabbed Temuulen by the neck.
Choking him.
Temuulen pleaded to release him but that just fueled his anger.
Me and Anand just laughed at the side, seeing them playfully fight each other.
"Come one guys, no need to fight. People are watching us." Anand stated.
Mergen left go and Temuulen was breathing for air.
"Jeez, was it really that bad? I wasn't being too hard or anything, I was trying to p-"
"It was that bad! You know I'm fragile right?"
"Fragile as my sleep schedule." I followed up before I started wheezing and laughing at the top of my lungs.
"Ok ok ok! Just shut up. How about we go for a ride on the roller coaster hmm?" Mergen said.
"Yeah, let's do that! I never rode one before so this is gonna be fun!" I turned around and headed towards the roller coaster.
When suddenly, everyone stopped in their tracks.
The kids who were running and laughing froze.
As the adults stopped talking.
Noticing this, I stopped walking as well.
My head filled with confusion as I looked around.
Literally everyone I could see froze in their tracks as if time was stopped.
"Guys?"
Slowly turning around, I saw my friends were also frozen except one thing.
Their eyes looking straight at me.
I was startled by the gaze they gave me as I was already in a confused state.
I slowly shook my head.
No...
No no no no no no no
My heart beat faster than ever before.
My whole body shaking in fear.
I continuously shook my head left and right.
Trying to erase everything in my mind.
"Wake up, Lukas."
A sudden voice erupted through the sky.
"Wake up."
My breath fastened and I closed my ears with my hands.
"No."
"Wake up."
My eyes teared up.
"Wake up."
My legs felt numb.
"Wake up."
Wet and muddy.
"Wake up."
And...
Suddenly my arm was grabbed and forcefully pulled from my ears.
Looking back up, I saw Gideon right in front of me who grabbed my arms.
And he yelled.
"WAKE UP!"

"Wake up, Lukas."
A hand was placed on my arms, shaking me to wake up.
Jolting up from my sleep, I quickly grabbed the wrist.
Pulling it back and ready to confront who ever it was.
My hands raised up in the air to strike until.
"Woah! Lukas, calm down. I was just trying to wake you up." Wesley said.
I slowly catched my breath and my heart slowed down.
"You alright dude?" Wesley asked.
"Yeah... yeah..."
I let go of his wrist and I relaxed myself.
"What do you want?" I rubbed my face in exhaustion.
"Well we're gonna visit Gideon at the clinic and I wanted to invite you to see how he was doing." Wesley stated.
I looked up towards him and said.
"What do you mean?"
"Don't you remember from last night? He lost his leg."
