Laura walks along the streets.
Five skewers on hand with her eating one of them as she moved.
She sighed.
"My god, that took forever. I hope they didn't wait long for me. I wonder if they saw the Grand Duke by now." She said to herself.
She got closer and closer to the crowd.
She took a bite of the meat on the skewer.
Munching.
"Gosh, this is SO good. can't believe a random vendor could sell these delic-"
Bang!
A piercing loud sound was heard off in the distance.
She stopped her track.
Staying put on her ground.
"What was that?" She wondered.
Then the mob in front of her started running.
And then the sharp scream of panic came.
The Horde ran frantically, many dropping and tripping to the ground.
She saw this scene unfold and it could only mean one thing.
She immediately dropped her skewer and ran to the crowd.
The mob pushed her back but she kept on moving to the opposite direction where they were running off.
To the general direction where she heard the gunshot.
She kept pushing aside people, getting deeper and deeper.
BOOM!
Another piercing sound was heard but much louder than before.
In the distance, a large flaming explosion unfolded.
The smoke engulfed parts of the crowd.
But that didn't matter.
The only thing she cared about was her brother.
Not even stopping to think twice.
And entered the block smog that surrounded her entirely.
Cough! Cough! Cough!
The smoke entered her lungs.
Making her breathing difficult.
And a burning sensation on her throat.
As she moved.
She saw a flaming inferno.
Her eyes darted on that flame and drew closer to it.
But when she finally reached the inferno.
It was a roofless car on fire like a campfire.
She looked around her surrounding.
Dead people everywhere on the ground, motionless.
Blood pooling out on the ground.
The fumes from the burning car blocked her nose and sense of smell.
"Someone help!" Someone yelled out.
She looked to her right and went to the sound.
"Wake up Gideon!" Someone yelled.
When she heard that name. Her eyes widened and ran faster, not caring if she will trip.
And finally found the source of the sound.
Wesley was holding Gideon who was on the ground.
Whilst Tomas was shaking Lukas's body, trying to wake him up.
Laura went to Gideon, crouching down to check if his okay.
"Are you Lukas's sister?" Wesley said with watery eyes.
"Yes and you are Wesley right? Lukas talked about you" Laura replied.
Wesley nodded before looking back at Gideon.
Laura checked for Gideons pulse.
He was still alive.
"Ugh...what happened."
Laura and Wesley's eyes widened in shock.
Gideon just woke up.
"Hey! Don't move, Gideon. Your still hurt." Wesley said.
Laura got up and rushed towards Lukas.
"How is he?" Laura said.
"He's still breathing but he won't wake up!" Tomas said with panicked eyes.
Laura looked at Lukas's body closer.
She reached her hand on the back of Lukas's skull.
There, she felt something wet.
Pulling back. Her hand was covered in blood.
No wonder he was unconscious.
Debris from the explosion must have hit in the back of Lukas's skull.
Knocking him unconscious.
"Gideon, can you still walk." Laura said.
Gideon raised his hand and gave a thumbs up to her.
She sighed in relief then picked up Lukas's body on both of her arms.
Wesley carried Gideon on his shoulder whilst Tomas went to him as well to help.
Both Wesley and Tomas helped carry Gideon on their shoulder.
Laura who was carrying Lukas's body on her arms gave them a nod before they escaped from the scene.

RIIIIIIINNG!!!
The school bell rang out the hallway.
And multiple rows of doors opened up and kids came pouring out.
The sound of footsteps echoed.
As I finally step out of the classroom.
"Geez! I haven't slept for the entire night yesterday because I found a really good novel that I couldn't just stop reading." I said.
"No wonder you were drooling your saliva and acting like you were about to pass out." Mergen said.
"Hey guys! You wanna head to E-mart?" Anand said.
"Why? I just want to-"
"We'll buy food" Anand said, cutting off Temuulen.
Temuulen's eyes sparkled when he said that.
"Really!? What are we eating!" He said.
Anand put his hand on his chin.
"I don't know, probably burger king. You guys like burger king right?" Anand replied.
"Of course we do! I mean isn't the only good fast food restaurant in Mongolia? Other than pizza hut of course." Mergen said.
"Oh yeah! I'll die for some good burger!" I said.
We all nodded in unison.
Mergen suddenly moved and ran down the flight of stairs to get out of school.
Anand followed pursuit as well as I.
"Wait! Do we really need to run!?" Temuulen yelled.
"Yeah or how else are you gonna catch up?" I said.
Temuulen sighed and followed along.
Soon we Mergen came out of the front door then Anand and then me and Temuulen.
Mergen turned running backwards and gave a middle finger to us with his tongue sticking out.
"Catch me if you can!" Mergen laughed.
"Oh bet!" Anand yelled and picked up his pace.
As I was about to do the same, I decided to look back to see temuulen struggling to even run.
Huffing and puffing.
"Your already tired? Need help?" I said.
"Oh no, I'm alright. Just keep moving I'll keep up." He said.
I scoffed because I knew he will never make it.
So I grabbed his shoulder and dragged him.
"Hey! What are you doing! I can run you know!" Temuulen tried to protest but it was futile.
"How else are you going to keep up with us when your lacking behind. Come on, I'll help you." I said.
I suddenly dashed and Temuulen almost fell off but fortunately he was able to keep going.
