The Girl Who Dreamed Of Love — Chapter 1 & Character Profiles
Character Profiles
Main Character:
Name: Racheal
Age: 19
Appearance: Chubby, round face, often hides in oversized clothes. She has warm brown eyes that are usually downcast, and a shy, awkward smile that masks her sadness.
Personality: Quiet, overly self-critical, imaginative, and compassionate. Despite her inner pain, she always smiles so no one sees how broken she feels. She overthinks everything and escapes into daydreams where she is beautiful, rich, and admired.
Family Role: Fifth-born in a family of seven children (3 boys and 3 girls, with Racheal as the fifth child). Her parents and siblings treat her like a burden. Her father especially looks at her with disgust, and her siblings keep their distance, ashamed of her.
Dreams/Ambitions: She secretly wants to prove everyone wrong and become someone important, but her lack of confidence and money keeps her stuck.
Family Members:
Father: Stern, distant, and often cruel with his looks and silence.
Mother: Not openly cruel but indifferent. She rarely notices Racheal's pain.
Siblings (6 total): Three brothers and three sisters. All distance themselves from Racheal, pretending not to know her in public. They consider her embarrassing.
Racheal's Struggles:
Always the "third option" in her friend group, never the first choice.
Often insulted and made fun of, but hides her hurt behind a smile.
Deep down, she sometimes wants to die, but she stays alive because she knows her mother would be heartbroken.
