Chapter 13 - Unnamed

Chapter 13 Tang Wulin: The Spirit Pagoda's kindness is not over yet!

Xie Xie's eyes widened instantly, and the class suddenly became so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. Even Wu Zhangkong narrowed his eyes as he looked at Huo Yuhao.

Only Gu Yuena, suppressing a smile, looked at Huo Yuhao.

This guy really loves to play dumb, even though he was already level 37 after successfully contracting with him last night.

Huo Yuhao glanced at Wu Zhangkong on the stage, then sat down.

Next, it was Gu Yuena's turn: "Gu Yuena, Martial Soul Elementalist, Soul Power Level 31, Strong Attack Type Battle Soul Master."

Humph, you play dumb, so I'll play dumb too.

The class fell silent again. They looked first at Huo Yuhao, then at Gu Yuena, feeling like they were still half asleep. How could this be possible?

Two nine-year-old Soul Masters? Even the geniuses of Shrek Academy and Chuanling Academy weren't that strong!

What kind of school is this? Who is worthy of going to school with them?

Xie Xie stared intently at Huo Yuhao, his customary cold expression vanishing, replaced by a look of embarrassment.

He recalled how he had promised Huo Yuhao a sparring match just minutes earlier, promising to protect him if he won.

Who was protecting whom? Xie Xie felt his red nose drop to the ground!

  "Not bad, some promising talent,"

Wu Changkong said, successfully capturing the attention of all the students.

"But you're far from genius. From now on, you'll face my rigorous training."

The students' expressions changed at this remark; they had long heard of Wu Changkong's sternness and strength.

Wu Changkong continued, "Let's get to know each other today. The first class officially begins tomorrow. Class dismissed."

After Wu Changkong left, the students gathered around Huo Yuhao and Gu Yuena.

In contrast to Huo Yuhao's gentle expression, Gu Yuena wore a cold, distant expression.

So, the people who had been surrounding Gu Yuena also ran to Huo Yuhao's side.

"Huo Yuhao, how do you cultivate? Why are you so fast?"

"Huo Yuhao, what are your two martial spirits? Are they both extremely powerful?"

"Huo Yuhao, are you from a prominent family? Do you have a particularly powerful inherited spirit? Can you show it to us?"

Everyone surrounded Huo Yuhao and asked questions. Huo Yuhao felt somewhat helpless under the questions.

He responded briefly and then pulled Gu Yuena, who looked unapproachable , out of the classroom .

Xie Xie snorted inwardly at the students' compliments to Huo Yuhao. Humph

!   If Huo Yuhao wasn't so powerful, why would they be so enthusiastic?

I won't be like them and curry favor with the powerful. I want to practice! Only when

you are strong yourself can you be truly strong!

Afterwards, Xie Xie left the classroom alone.

  The next day.

Wu Zhangkong was wearing gray, black and white plaid pants and a white shirt. This simple outfit set off his slender figure perfectly.

Wu Zhangkong had a cold and arrogant expression, and even if he didn't say a word, he could scare all the students into silence.

"Classes officially start today, everyone stand up."

Upon hearing the order, all the students stood up quickly.

  "Follow me!"

Wu Zhangkong walked out with his hands in his pockets, and the students all stood up and followed him.

Wu Zhangkong brought all the students to the playground, and then asked them to stand in a row of two people. Then he asked them to fight in pairs according to the order.

Many students were surprised by Wu Zhangkong's straightforward teaching style.

Strong students like Huo Yuhao and Gu Yuena were ranked last.

The first to compete were students of average skill, mostly at level 11 or 2, making the matches unspectacular.

After all, everyone only had one soul and a single skill set, whether it was a power attack, control attack, or agility attack, it was essentially a one-on-one fight.

After each match, Wu Zhangkong would comment on both teams, often with a barrage of criticism.

Students who managed to attend Class 1 were inherently gifted, at least significantly stronger than the average person, and therefore held their own pride.

However, Wu Zhangkong was able to pinpoint their flaws in minute detail, earning everyone immense admiration for his teaching.

After the entire morning, only half of the students in the class had finished their matches, leaving Huo Yuhao and the others without a chance to compete.

  At noon,

all the students gathered in the cafeteria for lunch. The Intermediate Department cafeteria consisted of three floors, catering to each of the six grades.

The first and second grades were on the first floor, and when Huo Yuhao and his companions arrived, the cafeteria was already packed.

However, East Sea College was a public institution, so the school provided plenty of meals daily, so there was no need to worry about running out of food if they arrived late.

There were three windows in the cafeteria: A, B, and C. Students paid for A meals, half the price for B meals, and C meals were completely free.

Huo Yuhao and Gu Yuena, with their status, naturally had plenty of money. They each ordered an A meal and prepared to sit.

Huo Yuhao spotted Tang Wulin immediately, as he stood out so clearly.

The C meal sign for today's meal said steamed buns, and one table was piled high with dozens of large meat buns. Tang Wulin was frantically enjoying his meal amidst the "mountain of buns."

Seeing Huo Yuhao and Gu Yuena approach and sit next to him, Tang Wulin looked up with an awkward smile.

"It's Brother Huo and Gu Yuena!"

"My table manners aren't very nice, but I hope they won't disturb you guys."

Huo Yuhao smiled and said, "It's okay."

Huo Yuhao then gave him a thumbs-up. "Wulin, you did well this morning!"

Tang Wulin scratched his head and said with a simple smile, "I just rely on brute force. I can't compare to you, Brother Huo."

This morning, Tang Wulin competed against a girl from the Defense Department. The girl had the Earth attribute and condensed a stone prison to trap Tang Wulin. Tang Wulin then smashed the prison to pieces with two tungsten hammers.

"Wulin, I heard you introduce yourself as a blacksmith?"

"Yes, Brother Huo, I can now forge a thousand pieces."

Huo Yuhao feigned shock as he looked at Tang Wulin. "Really? You're truly a forging prodigy!

Could you help me forge mecha materials in the future? I'll pay 10% above the market price.

That way, you can eat armor-class meals every day. Armor-class meals are nutritious and very good for your health!"

Tang Wulin's eyes widened. "Really? Brother Huo, you're so kind.

However, for the mecha materials, just pay the market price. You don't have to pay so much."

Huo Yuhao smiled. "It seems you don't know much about the blacksmithing profession!

If I post a task at the Blacksmiths' Union, there might not be a blacksmith ready to take it in time.

If I had a good blacksmith friend like you, I'd be able to replace my mecha parts in a timely manner."

Tang Wulin shook his head. "Brother Huo, you've helped me so many times. Just use the market price, or I won't trade with you."

Huo Yuhao nodded helplessly, "Okay, I'll do as you say."

He then pointed at the ring on Tang Wulin's hand and said, "It's only natural for us to help each other. After all, we're all from the Spirit Pagoda."

Tang Wulin scratched his head awkwardly, "Brother Huo, I'm not from the Spirit Pagoda. My talent is average, and I'm not qualified to join.

This storage ring was given to me by a Spirit Master."

Tang Wulin then told Huo Yuhao what happened the day he purchased the soul.

Huo Yuhao sighed, "The Spirit Pagoda is truly friendly to ordinary people!"

Tang Wulin echoed, "Yes, the Spirit Pagoda's kindness is unending!"
