Chapter 39 - Chapter 879: Crime City (part 14)

Although this was only their second meeting, Jack was already certain that this Lim Yoona, er, now known as Park Min-young, was a complete face-chaser.

Luxury cars like the BMW 8 Series didn't pique her interest at all. From the moment she got in, she stared at his profile without blinking, as if she could see a flower blooming in his face.

"I already have a girlfriend," Jack said coolly as he started the car. The first sentence made Park Min-young's face fall.

"And more than one. I'm not a good person, so it's best not to mess with me." As soon as the second sentence came out of his mouth, Jack regretted it. As expected, the little girl's eyes suddenly lit up, and the flame of gossip danced in her sparkling eyes.

"Do you have many girlfriends? Can you tell me how many? Are they all American? Are they good-looking? Is the prettiest one as pretty as me? Do they know each other exists? Would they fight over you?"

A barrage of questions rained down on Jack like a barrage of bullets from a Gatling gun, giving him a headache. Now he understood why Jiang Zhentai had described his sister-in-law as annoying when he introduced her that morning.

Jack put on a deliberately stern face and said, "You know, we Europeans and Americans are very private. Unless I tell you, it's extremely rude of you to behave like this."

"Oh, sorry," Park Min-young was startled. "I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to."

Jack breathed a sigh of relief and checked Zhou Xingzhe's location on his phone. Luckily, he hadn't gone home, but instead had gone straight to an upscale bar with a Japanese name.

Could it be that Ma Xidao was a dead end? Jack wondered if Zhou Xingzhe was just going for a drink or if he was planning to meet someone there. As he pondered this, he swerved the steering wheel and headed down a shopping street.

Park Min-young exclaimed softly, looking at the dazzling array of women's clothing stores lining the road. "Eh? The person you're looking for is here?"

Jack pulled out his NatWest MasterCard black card and handed it to the girl, pointing to a women's clothing brand called Jigotto down the road. "Get yourself some clothes; we're going somewhere that might require formal attire."

While girls often have privileges and aren't required to wear formal attire in upscale establishments, cartoon-printed T-shirts and deliberately ripped jeans are definitely out of the question.

Park Min-young's beautiful eyes widened, and she pointed at the black card in her hand, then at the women's clothing store outside the car window, which clearly didn't sell cheap goods, her mouth wide with surprise.

"Hurry up! They just arrived, and we still need to go inside to find them," Jack urged, opening the car door for her.

Although both were black cards, this MasterCard black card, issued by the British National Westminster Bank, actually had much lower requirements than the more famous American Express Centurion card.

Originally, Jack didn't care for such things, but since his friends, Hannah and Aubrey, both had these top-tier black credit cards, which came in handy for travel, food, and lodging, he asked Chris to help him get one.

You don't usually use this thing, but it's a passport to wealth: when you want to enter a world of extravagance, just show it off.

"Don't move." Arriving at their destination, Jack politely opened the car door for Park Min-young, who had changed into a sexy burgundy dress.

Her matching high heels landed gently on the floor, and as he looked up, he saw a pair of slender, white calves, their thrilling curves flowing from the slit of the dress all the way to the thigh.

While her chest was a bit thin, after seeing the voluptuousness of European and American women, the small waist, slender neck, and plump, slightly bony features of Eastern women were quite unique.

Taking Jack's outstretched arm, Park Min-young gracefully stepped out of the car, a bright smile on her face that hadn't faded since she'd left the brand-name women's clothing store.

"Wait." Jack paused as his hand touched the girl's slender waist. With a flick of his finger, the tag Park Min-young had deliberately tucked inside fell out.

"What's that for?" Jack removed the tag and tossed it into the trash can by the roadside.

"No!" Park Min-young was immediately shocked. "This dress costs 3 million won, and you can return it later."

Jack grinned. "How dare you ask for 2,100 dollars for just this little bit of fabric?" But he only sighed inwardly; the sum was truly paltry for him these days.

"Here, give it to you. Consider it your reward for pretending to be my girlfriend tonight."

His lips curled slightly as he finished. After secretly writing so many domineering CEO stories, he finally got to experience it for himself.

Park Min-young clutched his pounding heart and replied, his tone slightly sour, "Now I believe what you said."

"No need to lie to you, I really do have several girlfriends." Jack continued his bad boy tone. He truly didn't want to mess with a girl like the heroine in a Korean drama.

While he wasn't completely impeccable, he was fine with the occasional friendly exchange with a European or American girl. It wouldn't be a problem if they parted ways amicably afterward.

This girl was, after all, of an Eastern descent, so it was easy to fall in love. He couldn't bear the thought of her crying and causing trouble.

It was obvious to Jack that Jiang Zhentai was eager to marry off his sister-in-law. So, even though he was standing before this woman, who in his previous life was considered a national goddess in Korea, he had no desire to engage in a deeper conversation.

"No, it's the last part. You're definitely not a good person. You're so good at coaxing girls." Park Min-young pouted disdainfully, putting on a fake smile as she walked into the bar with Jack's arm around her.

"Sorry, sir, we are an invitation-only membership service." The pretty female receptionist at the door, who was wearing a business dress, smiled and bowed to the two of them.

Although she said no, her attitude was extremely respectful. In this line of work, it is impossible for someone to be tactless. Even if you insist on getting in in shorts and slippers, people will greet you with a smile. Of course, being thrown out by security through the back door after entering is another matter.

This is when Jack's "Natwest" MasterCard Black Card really came in handy. She respectfully took the card he handed over with both hands. The female receptionist walked back to the front desk, made a phone call, and welcomed the two of them into the bar with an increasingly enthusiastic smile.

There were not many customers in the bar, and there were only a few tables of three or four. Jack glanced over and unexpectedly saw Eric Chou and his two younger brothers whispering in the corner.
