"What are you talking about?" Diana said, tapping Leo on the forehead with a warm, smooth finger. "Although my money is yours, I still hope that you can make money through your own efforts in the future. After all, a part-time job is a good social experience."

"Okay," he replied feebly, his dream of a life of leisure shattered.

"I can bear all of that girl's expenses until she reaches adulthood," she said, her expression meaningful. "But is that what she wants? Have you considered whether she is willing to accept everything that you want to arrange for her?"

He paused. She was right. From the way Wanda had stood alone next to the remains of her parents, quietly, without crying or making a scene, he knew that she was a strong girl. He blindly wanted to protect her, to provide for her, but he didn't know what she really wanted.

"What should I do, Auntie?" he asked, looking at her seriously.

She thought for a while, and whispered softly, "I'll arrange it."

That night, in a fairly quiet five-star hotel in New York, Wanda was led by a front desk attendant to a table on the second floor by the window. As she approached, she saw the person who was waiting for her, and her eyes widened in surprise. What a beautiful person, she thought. The female celebrity models on TV are nothing more than that.

"You're little Wanda, right?" Diana said warmly, looking at the girl. "Sit down."

Wanda sat down opposite her. The woman was wearing a long beige windbreaker, and it was difficult to conceal her mature body curve.

"Excuse me, who are you?" Wanda asked curiously.

"My name is Diana Prince."

"Prince?" Wanda's eyes widened in surprise.

Diana nodded lightly. "Yes, I am Leo's family."

"Hello. My name is Wanda, Wanda Maximoff," she said, her previous caution giving way to a look of respect.

"Leo has already told me your general situation," Diana said, holding her chin slightly and staring at the red-haired girl. "He wants to help you transfer to a private school in Washington, and arrange a place for you to live. And, about your brother, I will also arrange someone to help find him."

"No, don't be so troublesome!" Wanda shook her head and waved her hands in a panic. "Leo helped my brother and saved my life. I am very grateful to him. There is no way I can repay him now!"

"Don't rush to refuse," Diana said. "I want to know, what do you think of his proposal?"

"It's great. It's just… too great," Wanda lowered her head and said in a low voice. "I can't accept so much from him for no reason." She paused, her eyes red. "If you can, I hope you can arrange for someone to find my brother. As for me, I don't care."

What a nice girl, Diana thought, admiring Leo's vision. "Then you don't want to go to school? Given the current situation in New York, it is estimated that classes will be suspended for a long time. In Washington, you can often see Leo."

"I have no money right now," Wanda said, lowering her head for a moment. "But I will work part-time. When I'm stable, I will definitely go to Washington."

"You are only thirteen years old. Who will hire you?" Diana said simply. "If you continue like this, you will probably be placed in an orphanage. You may not have the chance to look for your brother."

Wanda clenched her hands under the table, at a loss. Only thirteen years old, she had lost her family, her home. To survive alone in the postwar New York and to find her brother… there were too many tests to face.

"I have a plan," Diana said suddenly. "One that allows you to live and study in Washington, and also allows you to repay Leo. You can even use it as a long-term internship."

"What… plan?" Wanda asked, a hint of hope in her cute eyes.

The next morning, the curtains in the single room were pulled tightly. Leo was still sleeping in the bed, dreaming of a blue-haired maid calling his name. "Master, it's time to get up."

"Sleep for a while," he mumbled vaguely.

"Don't sleep anymore. Get up, it's time for breakfast," a soft, familiar, and tender voice continued, and there were signs of a slight tugging on the side of the quilt.

Wait, this dream is a bit too real. And that voice…

He opened his eyes and saw a crimson maid with a slightly larger apron on her chest.

No, that's not right!

He patted his cheek, looked at the red-haired girl with her little hand still holding the corner of the quilt, and said in surprise, "Wanda, why are you here?"

"Why can't I be here?" she said, suppressing her inner joy. She came to the window and opened the curtains on her tiptoes, letting the morning light into the room. "Miss Diana gave me an internship for three years. Until I'm an adult, I can get a part of my salary in advance, so I can live and pay for my daily life here."

"What job?" he asked curiously. His aunt hadn't told him.

"Take care of you, Young Master. For example, wake you up in the morning, make breakfast, clean the house, do laundry, and meet your daily needs…"

Wanda broke her hands and began to count. Before she could finish, he hurriedly interrupted her. "Wait!"

Isn't this a maid?

His original intention was to let Wanda come to Washington so that he could take care of her. Now, she was here to take care of him.

"I don't need someone to take care of me. You're still younger than me," he was taken aback, but quickly understood. This was most likely his aunt's compromise plan to allow Wanda to accept her financial help with peace of mind.

"You don't need it?"

Looking at Wanda's lower face, he was immediately defeated, and said quickly, "I need it, I need it very much. I can't take care of myself at all in my daily life." Well, that seems a bit exaggerated. "Just, don't call me Young Master. I'm not used to it."

"So…" The blushing maid blushed slightly, with some hesitation, and finally asked softly, "What kind of breakfast do you want to eat, Master?"

Well, the 'Young' is gone, at least.
