The first ever person reaching 3000 elo in chess and he have a long list of achievements like these, but most importantly, he always had an eye on the most famous TV show, Big Win Chance Game, yeah, the show have quite a few seasons, it started in 2026 - Today's date exactly is June 9th of 2086. It's the 15th season going on right now and it's about to end soon
Before the 14th season -
Phone rings
Todor: Hi
Mom: Big news son! I know you are really into that game show Big Win Chance Game! Now you are an adult and you can register! This is amazing you will win so easily!
Todor: I won't register.
Mom: WHAT?! Weren't you waiting for this to come? Don't you want to find out what happens to the winners sometimes? Why do they just disappear from "existence"?
Todor: Do you know Mratni?
Mom: Mratni? You mean that weird guy you once found beaten up in the middle of the night on the streets?
Todor: I would rather just bet online on the outcome of the season.
Mom: Bet on the outcome?
Todor: I found out he will be playing in the next season.
Mom: I don't understand, is it a problem?
Todor: I will bet all of my, your and dad's money of Mratni will win the 14th season and will disappear afterwards.
Mom: ... Sorry, did I hear you right? Also by the way what about you not deciding about your parents money?
Todor: Too late. I know the codes for both of your cards. Once the bet starts I will bet.
Mom: Seriously you're going to get in trouble if you keep behaving like this! Show respect!
Todor: Respect is one out of the uncountable inventions of humans.
Mom: Why would you even say that?! Whatever, I don't care! I'm going to change our codes, you won't bet with my money!
Puts the phone down
Todor: She's too easy to trick. Of course I don't know their codes, but for both of them as I know my parents, there are only 2 to 3 possible codes they could possibly change their codes to, so I will actually be able to bet with their money.
2 days prior, midnight
Todor walks on the streets alone, then he notices someone laying on the side of the road and he stops near to him.
Todor: Man, you alright?
The guy seems like he was just beaten up recently.
Man: Ugh, I'm alright, just another tough night.
Todor: Well, if you are, then there is no need for my help, bye.
The man gets up and says: Wait! You are Todor, right? That perfect guy.
Todor: Yeah, so?
Man: Well, I don't really have a name myself, but you can just call me Mratni.
Todor: You don't have a name?
Mratni: It's not important now, I have always wanted to meet with you and maybe... Play a game against you!
Todor: A game?
Mratni: You know, just wanna test you a little.
Todor: Alright, how about this? I have 3 cups and 1 ball, I will show you which cup the ball is in, then shuffle them, then you have to guess which cup the ball is in. If you get it right, you win, if not, then I win.
Mratni: Wanna bet with money?
Todor: How about 1000$?
Mratni nods: Let's start then.
There are 3 cups in front of Todor and shows up the cup to Mratni. In the bottom of it, there is the ball.
Mratni: Tch-
Todor: Something's wrong?
Mratni: Oh no, nothing, you can start shuffling.
Todor puts down the cup and starts shuffling. About 20 seconds later, he stops.
Todor: So where do you think the ball is?
Mratni: The one that is to my left.
Todor lifts up the cup, the ball is not under it.
Todor: You lost.
Mratni: Ooh, that's interesting, I thought you wouldn't cheat!
Todor: Sorry?
Mratni: Come on, it's the classic magic trick when the ball disappears and then reappears in another cup. It's so obvious this will happen since the speed of you shuffling was fast but you were still making sure I can follow it, so when I find out it's not there I will think that I surely messed up at one point with another cup.
Todor: Unless you can prove that this is the cup where the ball should be, you lost, it doesn't matter.
Mratni: Remember my "Tch-" when you showed up the cup? I did that for a reason, a little saliva fell into the wall of that cup, you should check that cup I chose.
Todor: It's... there.
Mratni: I told you, you underestimated me.
Todor: It still doesn't matter. The only rule was that you need to guess where the ball is after the shuffle, it was not forbidden to use any kind of trick to manipulate where the ball is.
Mratni: Hmm, well I guess you are right- Then you won, okay, bye!
Todor: Hey, you accepted a 1000$ bet.
Mratni: Oh yeah, well, you didn't tell either the time limit of when the loser needs to pay for the winner. Don't worry, you will get it eventually.
