As the last day on earth arrives I head to the cafeteria to grab some coffee sleeping is clinging to me like a physical weight and I notice that everyone felt about the same except of course the emotional baggage like fear and desperation,
'Perhaps the flaw isn't all bad' I silently mused walking through the hallways of the academy checking my runes I saw that nothing really changed except the ten extra wind Fragments I got from the interview.
I walked in the cafeteria and immeadetly half of the people were staring 'while it is understandable it is quite annoying' I almost scoffed outloud as the so called legacies were eyeing me up,
Grabbing a coffee I thought about where to sit,
'I'd go to Nephis's table if she wasn't always surrounded by legacies and ofcourse that Caster guy, so I decided go have a chat with Sunny apparently he made a friend since he's always sitting next to that blonde haired girl whitch had a blindfold 'wasn't she at the bottom of the rankings with Sunny?' While that makes sense since she apparently was blind after all I couldn't believe Sunny was at the bottom even if he got a terrible aspect he already knew how to somewhat fight since he's from the outskirts like me so I came to a conclusion 'he either lied about his abilities or didint share anything' as I approached the table I noticed the girl stiffen slightly 'she can probably hear very well' I mused as I silently creeped up on Sunny however he quickly turned around before I could get too near, as I smiled and asked "may I sit here?" He replied with a stiff nod while also holding a coffee as I sat down I looked at the girl she had long blonde hair a blindfold decent clothes and was visibly listening to what we are talking about,
"And what would be your name?" I asked simply putting down my coffee on the table she silently tensed as if expecting something but after a few seconds replied "I'm Cassie, and you are?"
Giving her a smile I didint feel not that she could see it I replied "Naruto" turning to Sunny,
"So I see you made a friend, good to see"
Sunny only scowled turning to his coffee "She isn't really a friend just someone I know".
I quickly glanced at Cassie seeing her shoulders drop a little "well thats quite rude to say, but atleast you don't lie about such things" He threw a glare in my direction for whatever reason but I ignored it, instead I asked "you two ready for the dream realm?" Both tensed immeadetly Sunny only scoffed but the girl looked like she will die any second 'she probably thinks she will as soon as she enters it huh' soon I finished my coffee and went to my room not saying a goodbye that would sound like one of us will die.
Quickly there was an announcement for all sleepers to gather up everyone met up one last time then awakened Rock took us to a medical wing and showed us something disturbing he called them hollows people who died in the dream realm and their bodies were left without a soul 'now I'm really glad for my flaw' I thought silently as awakened Rock took us to the sleeping pods as I entered the room I leaned my head slightly to listen to anything interesting I could hear a girls crying 'Cassie' I realized I could hear a lot of strange things like flames and a pained grunt or slight metal clunks and bunch of tapping not in a rhythm these were tapps born from anxiety and stress some lighter some heavier I quickly stopped as my brain struggled to keep up and understand the many different sounds, entering the dream pod.
