Chapter 304 - Chapter 303 Clearing the Source

"So, in your eyes, my daughter is just a piece of merchandise, something to be dismissed lightly and casually, is that it?"

Brian's gaze suddenly became very calm, and even his tone of voice grew tranquil.

But Johnny, standing nearby, could hear the greater anger simmering beneath it.

From the words and actions of those previous buyers, it wasn't hard to tell what kind of inhumane treatment his daughter would face once they took her away.

Being killed would already be the most merciful outcome; being sliced, dismembered, or even turned into a sex slave were all possibilities.

And all of this, if he hadn't arrived in time, would have truly happened. How could he possibly remain calm?

"Listen, I didn't know she was your daughter, nor did I know you were her father. I'm also a father of two children, and I can understand the anger you feel right now. But I merely work for this auction house. They handed the person over to me, so naturally, I sell her as a commodity."

Patrice St. Claire continued to argue.

Johnny glanced at him. This kind of hurtful demeanor was not the first time he had seen it—once they felt threatened and knew they couldn't escape, they would start frantically shifting blame.

Johnny didn't even bother to hold back. He directly slammed the butt of his m4 carbine hard against Sinclair's forehead.

"Shut up, you damned human traffickers!"

Sinclair was knocked to the ground by Johnny's rifle butt. He looked at Johnny, somewhat bewildered.

Johnny, however, directly stepped on his chest. "Do you think a few words can stir up people's sympathy? You're also a father of two children, but I didn't see that when you were selling these people."

Johnny's words immediately tore apart his hypocritical facade. Brian, standing beside him, was momentarily stunned. It was true, wasn't it? If you're a father of two, why are you involved in this illegal business of auctioning people?

"Don't keep saying you had no choice. You're a gang leader. Don't you think it's ridiculous to say such things?"

Johnny couldn't stand this type of person the most—wanting to be a prostitute while also putting up a memorial arch. What a joke!

"If it weren't for your damned human trafficking, no one would be bringing these people to you. You're making excuses and shirking responsibility now because you know fear, and you know fear not because you realize you're wrong, but because you know you're about to die!"

Johnny's words were both direct and sharp, striking straight at Sinclair's core.

He immediately became enraged out of shame.

"Fuck you! Where did you come from? Damn it, so what if I'm scared? Without me, others would still be in this business. Can you stop it?"

Sinclair's expression turned ferocious, but Johnny merely aimed his gun at him.

"I can't stop all of you, but I can kill all of you!"

Before he could finish speaking, Brian, standing beside him, directly pulled the trigger.

The full magazine was emptied in automatic fire, riddling Sinclair like a sieve.

Johnny glanced at him but said nothing. Instead, he turned to face the wealthy individuals who were still lying on the ground, unable to escape.

"I'm talking to you, you group of outwardly glamorous yet disgusting, filthy individuals, you hide in every corner of society like woodworms."

Johnny randomly looked at a white-haired old man. "Just like you, a man with one foot in the grave, you still have the nerve to be here buying and selling people?"

"And you, and you, do you want excitement? Then today, I'll give you all the excitement you can handle!"

Johnny directly raised his gun and aimed it at the old man.

This terrified the wealthy individuals, who all knelt and begged for mercy, shouting loudly, "Please spare us, we can pay for our lives! How much do you want? Just name your price."

"Exactly, it's just a woman, she's not worth us dying over."

"They're the ones who captured her and sold her; we just accepted the invitation to participate in this transaction."

Johnny's ears were filled with the words of the wealthy, but Johnny suddenly roared, "Shut up, you damned, filthy, disgusting people! If it weren't for your perverted desires, how would such human trafficking auctions exist?"

"You scum of society, go reason with Satan."

As his words fell, Johnny immediately began firing single shots.

Brian, who had already reloaded his magazine, made the same choice. Originally, he only wanted to rescue his daughter and let these people go, to spare them.

But after hearing Johnny's words, he decided he couldn't let these individuals off the hook.

Among these people were politicians, entrepreneurs, and the wealthy, but they all shared one common characteristic: this human trafficking venue was born from their evil.

And the reason his daughter was captured and brought to such a place for auction was, in fact, these very people, because demand creates supply.

Harry, standing at the intersection, looked down at the two continuously firing. He simply asked softly, "Are they doing the right thing?"

This question wasn't directed at Johnny and Brian, but at Merlin at headquarters.

Eggsy and Roxy were behind Merlin. Hearing Harry's question, Merlin pondered for a moment. "Theoretically, his argument is correct, and fundamentally, there's nothing wrong with it."

"These dark dealings are spawned by these people, so eliminating them at the source is correct, though there might be some moral and legal ambiguities."

Merlin and Harry agreed, while Eggsy had a different view. "I think it's good to eliminate these sources. We are not an official organization; we don't need to do this for the sake of so-called legal justice."

Hearing Eggsy's words, Roxy simply nodded, "Kill them!"

She had witnessed the entire auction of the women and heard the conversations of those people. She didn't think there was anything wrong with Johnny and Brian's actions.

Seeing this, Harry also raised the gun in his hand, pointed it at a wealthy man crawling towards him, and directly pulled the trigger.

Thud!

The wealthy man's eyes stared straight at Harry, with a hint of bewilderment in them.

Harry said nothing, but instead turned his gun to the next person and pulled the trigger again.

And so, everyone present, except for Johnny, Brian, Kim, and Harry—four people—all met their end.

At this point, everyone involved in this human trafficking site had been eliminated.

Johnny patted Brian's shoulder, while Brian tightly hugged Kim, who was clinging to his chest.

Only now did this naive girl finally understand what her father did. She apologized to her father.

She had always believed that her mother divorced him because her father was too busy with work and didn't spend enough time with them.

But at this moment, she finally understood what kind of profession her father was in. Her father didn't often come home to see them precisely to protect her and her mother.

"Sorry, I was late."

Brian also looked apologetic. He felt sorry for his delay, but at the same time, he was glad he had arrived in time.

All of this was thanks to Johnny and Harry; it was because of them that he was able to quickly locate her.

"Thank you!"

Johnny patted his shoulder again and walked towards Harry.
