Chapter 19 - A week went by.

"Oh, fuck…" Sillia jolted awake, her eyes darting around the familiar darkness of her room. That… that was all a dream? she thought, a bewildered expression on her face. She fumbled for her phone; it was 4 AM. Covering her face with both palms, she soon realized.

"It was all a dream… thank God, that was really scary…" Sillia whispered, wiping beads of sweat from her forehead. Sky was sleeping soundly on his mattress.

Everything I saw, that was a dream… damn it. She got up, went to get a glass of water, and thought, Nothing like that happened in reality; we just returned from the fair as usual. I haven't even changed my clothes, just directly slept. She gulped down the water before returning to the room. She looked at Sky, then pulled her mattress closer to his, lying down beside him. Staring at his sleeping face, she whispered softly to herself, "Don't do that ever again… I don't want to wait another five years like that." She closed her eyes. Everything in her dream had been beautiful, but his last words had made her so nervous that the dream ended.

I hope this doesn't come true, Sillia thought, remembering the saying that dreams in the morning become true.

The next morning, "Mother, I am leaving," Sky said, ready to depart. Sillia, scrolling on her phone, watched him from the corner of her eye.

"Take care, son, be safe," his mother replied.

I really don't understand where the hell he always goes every morning. For nearly a week, he always leaves and comes around lunchtime. I'm really bored of just sticking to my phone. What's the use of bringing him here if he doesn't help me be entertained? Sillia thought, sipping from a glass of orange juice.

But I don't understand what he even does. I also have friends, but I can only go to their house for two days to enjoy myself. But he always goes somewhere else without telling anything. Sillia decided she would ask him today where he was going.

"Where are you going, brother?" Sillia asked him.

"Ahh… don't you know? Aunt is coming here today, so I'm going to pick her up from the station as a goodwill gesture," Sky replied.

"Really? Then can I also come with you to pick her up?" Sillia asked.

"Oh, sure," Sky said. He stepped outside and headed for the bus to pick up his aunt from the station. On the way, Sillia asked, "Which aunt is coming today?" They had three aunts in total.

"Well, the one who got divorced and remarried to another man two years ago," Sky said calmly, looking out the window at the passing scenery.

"What, seriously, her?!" Sillia exclaimed, her mood instantly souring.

"Why did you say that? Did something happen, or is it just about her?" Sky asked, noticing the bitterness in her expression.

"Nothing happened. I just don't like her, that's all. She isn't quite a good character; she is bad," Sillia said with a disgusted tone.

"Oh, girl. I don't know why you don't like her, but you need to understand one thing. People aren't born bad or evil; it's just situations make them that way. So you shouldn't be angry at them for their past mistakes," Sky said calmly.

"Seriously… aghh… whatever," Sillia replied nonchalantly. They continued their journey to the station. Along the way, Sky recollected the events of the past week since the fair.

I do wonder, would he really come? Isha murmured to herself, gazing out the window. Night had fallen. A day had passed since their accidental meeting, yet she knew nothing more about him. He had said he would come, but he hadn't.

Hah… I guess there's no point in waiting. He lied to me, and he probably would have been angry at me for doing that. But I really wanted to meet him. I really hate him for lying to me. Isha muttered, annoyance creeping into her tone. The eager spark, the desperate desire to meet him, began to fade. She had waited for him to come to her room all day, convinced he would appear at any moment, but the entire day had passed. Now, she was convinced he wouldn't come; he had only lied to get away from her.

"What the hell are you muttering about?"

Blink… blink… Isha blinked in disbelief. Sky had simply walked into her room through the window, standing directly in front of her.

"Did you hear something?" Isha asked, a conscious wariness in her voice.

"Ah… not really." Sky shook his head.

"I see. Anyway, why the hell did you come here, huh?" she asked.

"Why? Wasn't it you who wanted to talk so desperately with me?" Sky asked, his expression calm as he moved closer to Isha.

"That's… why are you coming so close? Stay away… stay… awaawwbb…" she stammered, adopting a defensive posture. Suddenly, Sky lifted his hand and covered her mouth, pinning her ruthlessly against the wall. He leaned in, whispering into her ear.

"I guess I wasn't clear enough last time, right?" Sky asked, his grip tightening over her mouth, making it ache. She desperately tried to push him away, but his grip was too strong. She looked at him with pleading eyes as the pain in her mouth intensified.

"Hey, what happened?" Sky asked calmly as he saw Isha staring at him without blinking.

"What?" she said in confusion as she realized Sky wasn't near her. Damn it! What the hell are you thinking, Isha? she chastised herself. But God, he looked so hot in that. she mused before speaking aloud.

"Why did you come here again?" she asked, a touch of anger in her tone.

"Haven't I told you already?"

"Oh, no, that's not it. Why the hell did you come so late at night? I was about to sleep, you know how long I've been waiting… but wait, you came into my room so late. Don't tell me you have something bad going on in your mind?" she asked, hugging herself defensively.

"What?" Sky asked, confused.

Aghh… forget it. You're too good for that. she thought before relaxing slightly.
