She shows up at 9:55.
The conference room is small. Windowless. Private.
Everyone's already there.
Doyun, Taekyung, Minjae, Jisoo. Daehyun.
All looking confused.
"What's this about?" Minjae asks when Manager Park walks in.
Manager Park closes the door. Locks it.
Then smiles.
"We're throwing Haejin a surprise party."
Dead silence.
"What?" Doyun finally says.
"January 25th. Five days from now. It's Haejin's 29th birthday."
"Oh shit," Jisoo says. "I forgot."
"Exactly. I'm betting he's forgotten too. He always does. So we're going to surprise him."
The energy in the room shifts.
From confused to excited.
"Yes!" Jisoo bounces in his seat. "Hyung does so much for us. We have to make this amazing!"
"I'm in," Doyun says immediately. "But we need a strategy. Hyung notices everything."
"Not if we're smart about it," Taekyung adds.
Minjae nods thoughtfully. "We can do this."
Manager Park looks at Soorin. "You'll be crucial."
