The Awakening
The protagonist gasps for breath and sits up suddenly — no longer surrounded by blood and fire. Instead, he's lying in a small, shabby room (or a familiar place from his youth). His body feels different — weaker, leaner, but strangely full of potential.
• Confusion and Realization
He stumbles to a mirror, water bowl, or polished surface and sees a much younger face staring back at him. Memories rush in — he has been reborn into his 16-year-old self, before the war, before the betrayal, before his downfall.
• The Dragon's Whisper
A faint voice echoes in his mind, reminding him of the pact:
"From this moment, my power slumbers within you. Awaken it, and the world shall tremble."
This confirms it wasn't a dream.
• Resolve
Overwhelmed, he clenches his fists. He now has a second chance — this time, he won't waste it. He vows to protect what he lost, take revenge on those who betrayed him, and rise above all with the dragon's strength.
• Cliffhanger
Just as he steadies himself, he hears a familiar voice calling from outside (a childhood friend, sibling, or even his future betrayer — depending on your plot). He realizes the story of his new life is about to begin.
