Jarilo-VI, Outlying Snow Plains.
"Sigh~ There's nothing to envy. I just caught a wave of luck~ Besides, this isn't exactly a cushy job. I still have to run around between various star systems, pushed along by business."
"Looking at it this way, I feel like the Church's work is much more relaxed. Whether it's Screwlloyd or the Priestess sister, we see them everywhere," March 7th said, her determination to visit the Church of Eternity firming up even more!
"Remove the [Business] part, and your job content feels pretty similar to the Express crew!"
Stelle had never been to the Interastral Peace Corporation, so she couldn't join the conversation at all.
Even the strong Galactic Baseballer had weaknesses. Obviously a Nameless of [Trailblaze], but it felt like her vision was still too narrow...
"I'm surprised Jarilo-VI could establish contact with the IPC so quickly and even start discussing cooperation... Such fast action, as expected of Bronya!"
"Haha~ The content of this cooperation might be a bit different from what you imagine... But I agree with the second half. That [Supreme Guardian] really has a knack for governing the city. My main purpose this time is to meet with her."
Topaz suddenly realized something. "Ah, Miss March just said you are rushing to attend the festival in Belobog, right?"
"I'm really sorry; my colleague and I have delayed your journey," she apologized.
"It's okay, it's okay." March 7th also became polite. "We aren't in a hurry either. Without the piled-up snow, it's not easy to get lost, and the temperature is much warmer."
March 7th recalled the scene when they first arrived on Jarilo-VI. Even with the protection of [Trailblaze], it was hard to resist the cold of the Eternal Freeze.
"By the way, aren't you going into the city with us?"
"Thanks for your concern, we're fine! My colleague and I are visiting this planet for the first time, so we want to take a few more looks at the [Iconic] ancient architecture here."
"If our fate is deep enough, maybe we'll meet again at the festival venue." Topaz took out her phone as she spoke. "Here, this is my contact info."
"I usually don't reply to messages during work, but we can chat more after hours~"
Hearing this, March 7th narrowed her eyes, her shoulders trembling slightly with laughter: "Wow, I actually got an IPC executive's number without any effort..."
"Do you have any projects worth eight billion credits? I'm investing!"
"Ha? Only a ghost would believe you if you say that!" March 7th rolled her eyes. Stelle's assets weren't large enough to easily throw out eight billion credits.
"Hahaha~" Topaz was amused. "That's great. I really envy your relaxed and harmonious atmosphere~ Then we'll head out first. See you later!"
Topaz left with the IPC employee without looking back.
"Two groups of people spanning the entire galaxy actually met by chance like this... Stelle, fate is truly magical."
"Speaking of [Fate], I have a cold joke here. Want to hear it?"
Stelle applied what she had just learned. She didn't expect [Shut Up]'s cold joke to come in handy now. Unfortunately, March 7th politely refused.
"Let's go, this time we're really entering the city!"
...
"It's bustling with noise! Where the hell did this send me? Is this still the Jarilo-VI in my memory?"
Silver Wolf took off her sunglasses. The changes in the Administrative District were so great she almost didn't recognize it.
Just a short while ago, Adrian made a decision that went against HIS principles and brought her back to the land of Jarilo-VI.
Anyway, the ultimate goal was to slack off; slacking off in a different place made no difference.
"Wait, why do I have a strong sense of déjà vu? What is it? Hiss..."
Silver Wolf's delicate body trembled, her pupils contracting suddenly, as a thought split her mind like lightning.
"Th-th-this... isn't this the decoration style of the Church?!"
Seeing Silver Wolf realize it belatedly and become speechless with shock, Adrian felt this girl cared about the Church even more than HE did.
Sure enough, she still can't forget the Church of Eternity.
The biggest change in the Administrative District was the new statue added next to the [Everwinter Monument]. It sat majestically in the center of the empty square, nameless and silent, only called [Eternity] by the people.
It did not rely on a solemn posture, nor did it rely on a quiet, frozen form. Its mystery lay in its ceaseless transformation and flow.
The body, carved from meteoric iron provided by the Church, was melting, extending, and expanding silently like flowing water.
"What a pity. I thought it would be a sculpture with a bar of soap on its head," Silver Wolf said with a hint of regret.
Sure enough, she still can't forget the Church's soap.
Feeling the strong festival atmosphere in the Administrative District, Adrian also discovered a friend he had met a few times—Gepard.
"Mr. Adrian, and Miss Silver Wolf?"
Seeing the unexpected guests, Gepard was stunned for a few seconds before quickly adjusting his state: "Cough cough... Welcome back to Belobog."
"The Supreme Guardian said there would be mysterious guests coming to attend the Solwarm Festival activities... I didn't expect she meant everyone from the Express crew."
Silver Wolf frowned slightly. Had the Captain of the Guards automatically categorized her into the [Astral Express] group? Thinking about it, Gepard didn't seem to know of the existence of the [Stellaron Hunters].
"I hope your journey here was smooth. Not sending Silvermane Guards to welcome you was a dereliction of my duty..."
"No need to apologize. We're just passing by to have a look; no need to be so respectful."
Gepard nodded and reminded: "Understood. I hope you enjoy the festive atmosphere... but please be careful. Pickpockets in the city like to strike on such occasions. Please be sure to protect your personal belongings."
"Speaking of which... are the Silvermane Guards used to the modified weapons? If they aren't handy, tell me anytime. Consider it free after-sales service."
"Ah, Mr. Adrian has put in a lot of effort. The weapons you modified are perfectly fine!"
The only downside was that the monsters on Jarilo-VI had been cleaned up by Blake's flash of holy light, leaving not even dregs behind. These weapons were rarely put to use.
"When was that stone sculpture built?"
Looking from a distance, only the foundation of this sculpture named [Eternity] was solid.
The base, firmly rooted deep in the earth, was ancient as if integrated into the initial crustal cracks, glowing with a dark ink light. While the huge form above it flowed and transformed, it remained consistent and immovable.
"Mmh... three days after you left, a red-haired young man came to Belobog. He claimed to be a Gold Medal Architect of the [Church of Eternity] and came specifically to assist us in rebuilding the Administrative District."
"The Church has such a position? Why haven't I heard of it?"
Silver Wolf turned to look at Adrian. She had reason to suspect this was someone Blake hired externally.
"Actually, it's the Commander of the Knights," Adrian explained. "Ridiculous, right? The Knights responsible for military force are also quite knowledgeable in architecture."
Hard to imagine this is a building completed just recently. Those who didn't know would think it was a native structure of Jarilo-VI. The Church of Eternity is just too comprehensive.
With this technology, it would be a pity not to join the [Architects].
