Lucas spoke calmly. When he saw the reaction on the other man's face, he knew he had understood.

The company was small, but its investment in tissue production was enormous, and its prospects were extremely promising. At a glance, he could tell it was no ordinary operation, so he had decisively chosen to cooperate, pouring in a large amount of capital and expectation.
If the other party pulled out now, his losses would be massive.
