Alex switched the phone to speaker.
"Secretary Taylor, please tell your Mr. Hilton that I'm not trying to do anything complicated. I simply want to personally invite him to a dinner banquet."
The man spoke very directly, leaving them almost no room to decline.
"This time, all the major figures in the industry will be attending, including several who have flown in from overseas. Secretary Taylor, you know I have more connections abroad, so they'll be coming as well. If things go well, there might even be room for cooperation."
Lucas raised a brow.
So he invited every influential name just to help Damien take over?
