Chapter 15: Proto Exosuit Model X-1

After dinner, Elysium immediately returned home and politely declined Tang Ziran's offer to stay the night.

With things to do and a project to complete, Elysium didn't care about the expressions they showed when they saw the gifts he brought. He returned home and began browsing the internet again, selling all his stocks.

He immediately ordered the various spiritual metals he needed. All his savings had plummeted to just over 100,000 federal coins.

In front of his computer screen, Elysium turned it off and breathed a sigh of relief.

"I'm really going to take the risk now. Previously, I was afraid the federation would find out something strange about someone ordering so much spiritual metal. But with Na'er's identity as the co-leader of the soul beasts, sooner or later, she would be discovered by Di Tian."

If that happened, Tang Wulin and Na'er would be separated, and the success of this experiment would be compromised. Someone who dares to interfere with my experiments and research doesn't deserve to live in this world.

Elysium was truly laughing maniacally now. His eyes were as cold as the ice in the south, and a murderous feeling filled his entire body.

"Keep calm, Elysium. My opponent now is someone in the Ultimate Douluo realm. A fierce beast who was once a leader of other soul beasts before Na'er. I cannot underestimate him and need to be prepared for all possibilities."

Given the situation, Di Tian couldn't possibly come alone to take Na'er away. He would bring other fierce beasts with him, and this would be a battle with a numerical disadvantage.

"So, I need to modify my exosuit with many things and focus on destruction. Eva, open the data bank, Proto Exosuit model X-1."

A blue screen opened in the air, displaying a complex blueprint. Although Elysium called it an Exosuit, this thing was closer to a mecha in the Douluo world, and an extension of his body.

The materials he needed to build a pure mecha were simply insufficient. This was certainly the case when he designed a mecha based on the knowledge he had from the Federation.

If he could replicate it in this world, it would be a dimensionality-reducing attack on Di Tian and would blast any Ultimate Douluo to the ground. But he couldn't do that with the characteristic metal in this world, so he needed an alternative.

[Proto Exosuit Model X-1]

Type: An Exosuit (As the standard toy in the Federation now/experimental design in the early mecha era in the Federation)

Weapon: Cruiser Red Laser energy-based cannon (X2), an anti-air gun (X6), and an energy fusion sword.

Shield: Energy-based shield, reinforced spiritual metal.

Auxiliary: Proto energy-based thruster (X2)

Description: An Exosuit Armor designed as a weapon capable of maintaining its position in the air as a turret for defensive combat. As the main weapon, a red laser is used in space warfare for a new civilization beginning to achieve and break new records in interstellar travel.

Designed as a less aggressive weapon, the lack of a module chip requires the exosuit host to control every detail and movement of the exosuit mentally, which can be burdensome. The evaluation of this exosuit is terrible, a waste of resources, but a good start for a young civilization.]

[Combat Evaluation: As a turret, these can easily destroy enemies with the two main guns, as the red laser is an energy-based weapon used in space combat. It offers destructive power, but at the cost of a very long charging time and is very energy-intensive.]

"I really had no other choice. The two exosuit designs I created had completely different specifications. One specialized in light combat that relied on speed, and the other was an exosuit used in close-combat brawls."

The problem with these two is that they need module chips to fully simplify their operation and use. Without the module chips, the two exosuits were nothing more than useless scrap.

So, the first model he built was the best choice. Because it functioned as a stationary turret, he could devote most of his mental energy to fighting the enemy. The only downside was that this exosuit was extremely energy-intensive, as it used a weapon from a cruiser spaceship.

"It's better to modify it a bit. The main weapon doesn't need to be replaced, but I'll replace the anti-air gun with a flank cannon. I'll also need to modify most of it and adapt it to move with soul power."

Furthermore, He couldn't provide a large amount of soul power, so this thing needed a battery and could recharge itself by absorbing soul power in the air. On top of that, I had to determine how long this thing could fight based on a calculation.

This would be a one-time battle, and this exosuit couldn't be exposed to the outside world until I had a solid foundation in this world.

"If I fail, I have to add a self-detonation sequence and take at least Di Tian with me to die. That way, when Astrea starts a new account, I can continue my old research."

Yes, the plan was feasible.

Elysium immediately redesigned this exosuit, changing almost the entire design and modifying it to be compatible with new energy sources like soul power. Not only that, he also began designing all of his weapons to be powered by soul power.

Every night, the lights in Elysium's house never went out. For an entire week, he designed it to its optimal form and prepared various scenarios in which Na'er would be captured.

He even asked for permission to skip school for a while because he really didn't have time to play with the kids here.

By the month, all his orders had arrived, and surprisingly, the Sun Moon Federation didn't care what this much spiritual metal was used for. The blacksmith association delivered his order with a little girl who seemed curious about everything.

A girl with golden hair and a ponytail. In the association, her name was Mu Xi from the Blacksmith Association Eastsea City branch.

"Hello young man, we've come to deliver your order." A man from the association looked at Elysium as he handed over all the spiritual forging metal Elysium needed. They all came with many different parts.

"Is it all done? Nothing missing, right?" Elysium rolled his eyes, not having time for this nonsense. He immediately moved to examine some of the parts the blacksmith association had made. There were no issues with the quality, which made Elysium very satisfied.

He paid more than 10 million federal coins for this. And this is because he pays 30% more to get priority in the work.

"Are you a mecha maker? I didn't know someone this young could be a mecha maker."

"Uncle, are you serious? A little kid like him is becoming a mecha maker? Moreover, he's not even ten years old just by his height." Mu Xi sneered, looking at Elysium, who was inspecting each part he ordered.

"I don't know, young lady. But one thing you must know is that man is already a level 15 soul master."

Mu Xi paused and looked at Elysium with an intense gaze. "Level 15? So what? He's probably just a gifted genius born with innate full soul power."

"I really doubt that." The uncle just shrugged. He regretted bringing the young lady here to deliver the mecha part order that someone had paid so much to make.

When he looked at Elysium's data, they discovered it was probably some rich genius from a hidden family. It never crossed his mind that the person who ordered this was Elysium. It was likely an Elder from his family who had ordered it, and Elysium had been asked to inspect it.

"Okay, no problem at all. Everything was exactly as I wanted." Elysium finally breathed a sigh of relief.
