You can try and drown my demons and save me from my pain, but I'm afraid it'll do you no good, you'll waste your time and energy. My demons an breathe underwater and never give up so easily.
If the man I date, sees my demons in my eyes, would he run in fear, never to see or come near me or my demons again? What man or person is brave enough to face my demons with me and help me calm them?
I've been told that I am strong. That is true, but only physically am I strong. My mind is another story altogether; it's breaking and falling piece by tiny piece. And like Humpty, there's not enough people to put it back together again.
So do not disturb me, for I am disturbed enough, unless you brave enough to face my mean and hurtful demons and swim with us in the water that is as black as the night.
But be warned, if you are not careful, you too will end up being disturbed as well. And become a part of my demon family.
