"You'll forgive my silence. I thought you're supposed to be dead." Luciano finally spoke up.
Bianca didn't take any offense to his bluntness. In fact, she welcomed it.
After all, it was the truth. She was supposed to be dead.
"That's the story. But I clearly am not. I know you owe me nothing. If we go down memory lane, things between your father and my husband didn't end well. However, I heard about your relationship with my daughter. If the sour relationship your family ended up having with mine didn't stop that, then I hope you'd consider helping us now."
"Us," Luciano thought.
She couldn't just be referring to herself and Ben. There had to be someone else.
"And by us?" He lifted a brow.
"I mean myself, Ben, my daughter and—"
"And? There's an and? Please don't tell me you've brought Julien into my home." He interrupted her before she finished up.
Big Ben and Bianca exchanged looks. Neither knew how to drop the bomb.
