"Is this dress too short?" Valentina turned away from the mirror, so Natalia could see her clearer.
Natalia's eyes wandered through the length of her body, and then the length of the dress which was just slightly below her thighs.
"It's perfect."
Valentina chuckled. "Translation, it's short as hell but you look good as fuck in it so it doesn't matter."
Tickled, Natalia giggled. "I really missed us being together like this. It's so much fun."
"I know, I know Natty darling," she turned to the mirror to fluff her hair. "Trust me, I know without me your life will be dull and without colours."
"Oh don't flatter yourself Val," she laughed.
A knock on the door dragged their attention, and Valentina sighed.
"What now?" She questioned in her heart.
It had been a peaceful morning thus far. She really couldn't deal with chaos at the moment.
Elio walked into the room, and Valentina knew there wasn't going to be any more peace from the look in his eyes.
