Yet Guy could not only endure it—he could precisely guide his chakra and release all that strength through his fists in a focused, high-speed shockwave attack.
If that shockwave hit, it would immobilize the enemy, locking them in place for the next onslaught.

Chakra surged through Li Yao's arm, concentrating all his power into his fist. When it exploded outward, it formed a shockwave nearly identical to Guy's.
"What?!"
Guy was stunned. With no time to dodge, he crossed his arms and braced for impact.
Boom!
The shockwave engulfed him instantly.
Even with the full power of the Eight Gates, Guy couldn't withstand the force of Li Yao's strike—which was nearly as powerful as his Evening Elephant. His entire body was locked up by the force.
Not good!
Guy's eyes widened. His body, already pushed beyond its limits, had nothing left to resist this attack.

Li Yao didn't follow up—he simply allowed the shockwave to hurl Guy into the side of a rocky hill outside of Konoha.
"Not bad. I just learned something new."
Li Yao raised his fist and admired it with a grin.
Using a burst of chakra combined with focused physical strength to create a shockwave—that technique was worth copying.
"No way…"
"Even his taijutsu is this strong?"
In the dimensional layer, Jiraiya and Tsunade watched, stunned. Their jaws hung open in disbelief.
This was the Eight Gates Formation—a power said to surpass the Hokage many times over.
Yet Li Yao had matched it with just Lightning Release Chakra Mode.
Worse still, Guy's power came at the cost of his life—it was unsustainable.

Even the Third Raikage, who had battled the Eight-Tails bare-handed, didn't possess strength on par with Guy in this state.

Why does Li Yao's body possess this kind of power?
