If space were imagined as a net, Kamui space was a spherical net. As long as you were within that net, you couldn't escape.

Unlike interstitial space, which exists as a layered dimension closely tied to the main world, Kamui space is a completely independent sub-world.
If the main world is destroyed, interstitial spaces go with it.
But Kamui space would remain intact.
Still, it was not entirely independent. Li Yao circulated time-space chakra and quickly discovered why Kamui space contained breathable air.
This dimension was constantly exchanging matter with the real world.
To put it simply, a kind of "spatial pipe" connected Kamui space to the outside world—though it was fully spatialized and had no defined form.

Inside Kamui, the Water Release clone arrived via Flying Thunder God Technique.
No need for words. He immediately began the possession process.
Li Yao's main body personally erased the remaining will within Obito's soul. Under Kotoamatsukami's influence, Obito offered no resistance, and his soul's will was easily wiped out.
Then the Water Release clone used the Spirit Possession Technique to take over Obito's body and soul.
Once the clone's consciousness fully merged and controlled Obito's soul and body, Li Yao's Water Release clone became the new Obito clone.
The moment he completed the transformation, the new Obito clone sensed the curse Madara had placed on Obito's heart—a binding jutsu preventing him from harming Madara, designed to control and prevent suicide.
