Chapter 21 - Are they my memories?

Jason felt weird these following days, he wondered what was happening to him. It wasn't where he had no money, well insufficient amount of money to buy the services of a top S-class world healer. To which could possibly heal his "Hukosil" disease. Only for doctors to mention that their is some powerful elixir that can heal him at the 40th floor. Which, humanity only conquered to the 32nd floor.

He felt like the dreams he had were real, faces popped up. Some of them crying for what supposed to be him. It felt weird but also, it somehow made him cry.

He felt sad, depressed and then like his heart ripped out seeing those people, all of them girls. He didn't know why, Jason wanted to know. But, if he explained his dreams to anyone, it would make him be looked at crazy.

He couldn't just ask the strongest guild's to just say "Hey climb faster will yah?", type of request. It would have to wait, before they conquer that floor, and even then.

Will he have that money to purchase it if was being sold. He would be broke for 2 lifetimes, if he tried to buy that Elixir that residents of the tower say can cure all. Even then, who knows if taking their world to face value would actually be true. No one knows truly only rumors that the elixir exist.

"Haaa...."

Jason was tired, but he had to go to work.

*Ring*

His phone rung, seeing the callers name he picked it up.

"Mom"

[Morning son! Are you busy next Thursday?]

"Work just work."

[Aw~ Your childhood friend, Alicia awakened!]

Surprised, Jason felt like really that anybody close to him is growing to be someone special in the world. His friends became much more than him. Barely now keeping in contact with him, making him just stop caring.

As, for Alicia, he stopped talking to her for 3 years. She probably had to much going on, well Jason who was once going to confess lost that love. So, he was thinking of not going being to much of a hassle.

"Oh really?"

[Yeah! They're having a party, you should come]

"I don't know mom"

Jason wasn't a big fan of big gathering meetups. Now when it involved not talking for a while. it really was different.

[Honey don't that, it be nice to see her achieve what she has achieved]

Jason wanted to refuse, but it was his mother. So, he willingly agreed, with a sigh. Many people change when awakening. His friends were an example, why wouldn't she do it also.

"Alright mom, I'll come by"

[Great! Jason I'll tell your dad too actually never mind, I already told him]

She was excited, well Jason was opposite of that. It would be awkward, since they have spoke to each other.

They talked some more and ended it there. Jason sighed again, it felt meaningless to come.

*************

Jason finished talking with his parents, until he laid his eyes upon Alisia. His once childhood friend laughing with some guy he didn't know. He didn't feel nothing, she wasn't his crush anymore.

He wanted to leave, it was boring and really it wasn't his place to be here.

"Oh Jason!"

Alisia came to him, with the dude right beside her.

"Alisia"

"I didn't know you would come, but thank you for coming."

"Well, I couldn't miss it."

He could've if it wasn't for his mother, but he kept it to himself.

"Who's he Alisia?"

The man questioned as he hugged Alisia from behind, giving a smirk to Jason. Who raised an eyebrow and caught onto the meaning. He felt like he knew where this is going.

"My friend"

She said so endearing, Jason could see that it was her boyfriend.

"Hello."

"Names Conner."

He greeted to the man, who chuckled and did shake his had.

"Well, it's nice to have someone close to Alisia to celebrate her awakening."

"It is."

Jason let go, only to see him kiss Alisia as if trying to gauge a reaction from him.

"Mmmm~"

He side eyed him, Jason didn't care.

"Hey! Be a bit more conservative."

She blushed, looking at Jason embarrassed. She chided at her boyfriend Conner. He shrugged it off, Jason just said couple last things.

"I have to go to the bathroom."

"Enjoy the party!"

"Yeah man, enjoy it!"

He smirked and Jason walked away, he didn't care. As he left, Alisia eyes wondered on his back.

(It didn't work....)

She didn't love Conner but used him to have him jealous. So, her childhood friend of hers that she liked would fight for her. But, he was unmoving, not caring she was taken. It made her confused, frustrated and annoyed.

(Why? Don't you like me Jason...?)

She wondered, but it led her to so many questions.

Jason was in the bathroom washing his hands, until the feeling of a throbbing headache came back to him.

"Fuck!"

He grunted in pain, he quickly went backwards, crashing to the stall. Falling on the toilet seat, he got up and slammed his head to the side frame.

"Gah!?"

His heart started to feel pain too.

(At the worst possible time....!)

He then saw a vision, as if he was experiencing emotions flooding to him. He saw a beautiful woman with really long sky blue hair. That hit the ground, her crimson eyes were special as it had she had an X shape pupils. Large sprouting horns, and she had a sexy milf body.

"Tiamat...?"

He uttered a name unknown to him, but it felt like it connected to him deeply. He had to leave now, after the pains subsides.
