Chapter 64 - Chapter 64: Nico Robin

Kuma and Bonney had officially joined the Straw Hat Pirates.

While Bonney Pirates Crew are officially disbanded and all of them returned to their home. They only escorted Bonney because of Kuma, they didn't want to see Bonney feel sad and lonely.

However, something unexpected happened after they joined. Luffy felt a bit disappointed when he realized that Jack missing abilities hadn't returned to him.

"Jack, have your other abilities come back yet?" Luffy asked curiously after welcoming Kuma aboard.

"Nope…" Jack replied, exaggerating the P sound just to tease him.

"Eeeeeeehhhhhh?!" Luffy exclaimed in shock. "Didn't you tell me to invite him because it would help you get your powers back?"

Jack shrugged. "No, that's not it. I asked you to invite him because he's a cyborg."

"Cyborg?" Luffy's eyes got some star a line of drool already forming as he stared at Kuma. Though he had heard he was cyborg before but repeating it again still make him drooled.

"Yes, Luffy," Jack said with a grin. "That's exactly why... Wait a minute.... Are you mad at me?"

Luffy tilted his head, then shook it with a big smile. "Nope! You invited a robot to join us. That's awesome!"

Jack could only sigh in amusement. 'Of course,' he thought. 'As long as it's a robot, Luffy will become happy.'

"So… those two babies, you failed to save them?" asked Jack, his tone calm because he knows those two baby is alive.

He was transmigrated into this world after reading one piece chapter 1162 and he didn't know what really happened afterwards, how does Shamrock become Holy Knights and Shanks become pirates.

That is why he need to ask Dragon about what really happen on that day and he learned how he had saved Kuma, more than 1000 innocent civillian on that island and how he had threatened his superior so they listen to him.

He also saw a bit of Rocks D Xebec demon form which further solidified Jack theory about imu manage to use his Domi Reversi power on him.

Dragon lowered his gaze, his expression heavy. "Yeah," he said quietly. "I was too weak back then." He pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to stop the tears that threatened to fall. After a moment, he looked back at Jack. "How did you know? Or… was that information you gathered before coming to this world?"

Jack gave a faint smile, the kind that carried both truth and li. "That man you saved, he was actually Shanks, the current yonko. After you lost him, he was found inside a treasure chest. The Roger Pirates discovered him and rescued him from that island."

Dragon eyes widened, a flicker of surprise and relief breaking through his stoic face. "So… he lived," he murmured. "All this time, I never knew."

Jack nodded slowly, then his expression turned somber. "But the other one you failed to save, the one you fought earlier was Shamrock."

Dragon shoulders stiffened and his eyes dropped to the floor. Silence hung between them for a few moments, the weight of guilt pressing down on him.

Jack stepped closer and spoke softly, "You saved one from becoming a monster. Shanks grew up to be a good man, strong, kind, and free. That's because of you, Dragon. Don't dwell on the one you couldn't save. Be proud of the one you did."

Dragon didn't respond, but the faint tremor in his lips showed how deeply the words struck him.

Suddenly, those who possessed Observation Haki sensed something, an unfamiliar presence approaching from afar.

Jack expression shifted after hearing Jarvis notification. He tapped his earpiece. "Jarvis, identify the approaching target."

A few seconds passed before the AI replied, "Target confirmed: female, devil fruit user, high energy signature detected and she is Nico Robin."

Jack lips curled into a grin. "So, it's her…" he murmured. "Another piece of the puzzle and another skill to claim."

He turned to the crew, motioning with his hand for silence. "Everyone, stay put," he ordered calmly. "Let our guest come aboard. Don't make a move until I say so."

"Who is coming Jack?" asked Luffy. He also noticed a presence trying to come close to the ship.

Jack stepped forward and whispered something to him.

Luffy eyes become wide because Jack just told him that the person who come would most likely make his power return.

"Revolutionary army member please go inside the ship," said Jack. "Including you too Sabo."

"What? I am luffy brother," replied Sabo.

"Yeah but we have something important to do among Strawhat crew," said Jack.

"Ok," replied Sabo.

"Dragon you can stay here," said Jack.

Robin small ship cut silently through the waves toward Whiskey Peak. Her mind was heavy with the latest reports from the Unluckies and the surviving agents at Whiskey Peak, including Mr. 5, Mr. 9, and Miss Valentine.

"Miss Wednesday is most likely Princess Nefertari Vivi of Alabasta and has now become a member of the Straw Hat Pirates."

The news alone was troubling enough, but what came next unsettled her even more. According to the same report, the Straw Hat Pirates, rookies who had captured CP9 and were rumored to have received help from Monkey D. Dragon, were currently at Whiskey Peak.

Baroque Works agents who survived confirmed the rumors, the Straw Hats had spared them without demanding a single thing in return. That kind of mercy was rare in this world, especially among pirates.

Strange, Robin thought, her eyes narrowing beneath the brim of her hat. What kind of pirates show mercy?

Still, something inside her an instinct she tried to suppress told her she needed to meet them. She knew what Crocodile was planning in Alabasta, and these Straw Hats… they might just be the ones capable of stopping him. She didn't want another innocent person to fall victim to Crocodile's ambition. Yet, compared to them, she still chose her own safety.

When she finally neared Whiskey Peak, Robin spotted the Going Merry anchored near the shore, the Straw Hats ship. She docked her small boat beside it and cautiously stepped aboard.

The moment her boots touched the deck, her instincts screamed danger.

She froze.

The air changed instantly. Every pair of eyes locked on her. Zoro hand rested casually on his sword, though his gaze was sharp as a hawk's. The others Nami, Bonney, Kuma, Nojiko, Sanji, Usopp, even Vivi and Bartolomeo watched her with tense wariness. Everyone seemed stronger, more dangerous than she expected. Everyone except Jack and Luffy. While the revolutionary Army had gone inside the going merry room under the order of Jack.

They were expecting me, Robin realized.

"Now, what do we have here?" Jack voice was calm, almost teasing. "Nico Robin, isn't it? The famous Miss All Sunday of Baroque Works."

Robin forced a composed smile. "You seem well-informed, Jack F. Corrie."

Before she could take another step, she felt a flicker of pressure a powerful presence pressing down on her. Her body reacted before her mind could, dozens of arms bloomed across the deck, sprouting from the planks, ropes, and even her own shoulders. She twisted her fingers into formation, ready to fling herself into the sea if things went wrong.

Zoro's blade was already half drawn. "She's gonna try something."

Jack raised a hand slightly, signaling him to wait.

"Nico Robin, the survivor of Ohara… the girl who earned a bounty when she was just eight years old," Jack said evenly.

Robin eyes widened, but Jack continued before she could speak.

"The only person who didn't betray you and allowed you to live safely was Crocodile, am I right?"

Before Robin could respond, another voice suddenly interrupted.

"Hey!"

Everyone turned. Luffy stood there, grinning from ear to ear. "Wanna join my crew?"

Robin blinked, utterly stunned. "...What?"

"Hey, Luffy! Didn't you hear what Jack just said?" Nami shouted.

Luffy turned serious for a second, scratching his chin.

"Luffy-senpai, I don't think she's suitable," Bartolomeo added nervously.

Usopp was already pulling Luffy back by the collar while Nami pinched his cheek.

Jack could only sigh. He knew Luffy too well, once his captain decided something, no one could stop him. He had told Luffy beforehand to wait until the end of his introduction before inviting her, but of course, that plan had just gone out the window.

Of course Jack was happy when Luffy heard that he a gut feeling Robin would make his power return.

Robin looked at Luffy, her expression unreadable. 'He's either the biggest fool I've ever met, she thought, or the most dangerous man alive.'

But maybe joining strawhat pirates would save alabasta people and by the looks of it they are strong enough to fight marines and world government.

Robin nodded and agreed.

"I will captain," said Robin.

"Yatta, we got a new crewmate" replied Luffy happily.

Suddenly Jack got a new notification from his system interface.

[Congratulations for recruiting an original Straw Hat member]

[Reward: Ikaris Template – Flight and Optic Blast]

A surge of energy flooded Jack body, far stronger than anything he had ever felt. All Eternals possessed power on the level of Captain America and even beyond that, each eternal has different physiology, but the Ikaris template was on an entirely different scale. It wasn't just stronger than the Druig template, it was at least ten times stronger than him.

Ikaris could fly through outer space, withstand atmospheric heat, and was known as the strongest Eternal of them all. He had once fought every Eternal at once… and won.

Every time Jack gained a new template, his body didn't simply stack power, it merged them. For example in a simple mathematical question, one plus one would become two but when merged it has different calculation, one plus one wasn't two, it became five.

With eight templates already fused within him, his physical strength and durability were already comparable to Whitebeard or even stronger than him. He need to meet with whitebeard first to know either he is more powerful or not.

Now, with Ikaris added on top, Jack felt… confident. Confident enough that if he fought Whitebeard head-on, he wouldn't lose.

Only two templates remained before he could access the Uni-Mind. He could barely imagine how strong he would become if he gain all the 10 templates.

"Jack…" Luffy muttered, his eyes widening as he sensed the overwhelming aura leaking from him. With his Observation Haki, Luffy could clearly feel it, Jack had become much stronger than before.

Then, without even activating his combat suit, Jack suddenly shot into the air.

"Luffy!" Jack called down with a grin. "I can fly on my own now!"

"Woooaaahh! How'd you do that?!" Luffy yelled, hands on his head.

The others looked at him with surprise, but before they could react, Jack accelerated blasting upward at supersonic speed and even faster. Within a minute, he had broken through the atmosphere and hovered in space.

He looked down at the world below. According to his memory, the One Piece planet was at least twenty times the size of Earth. No wonder people said it was a cartoon world, by science logic, a planet that big should have deadly gravity. Yet the gravity felt the same as Earth gravity.

When Jack returned to the Going Merry, he found that several of the crew had flown trying to match his speed using combat suit ability to fly, even though its limit was only around 10 km upward and has a speed to fly at least 100km/h. His Ikaris speed had simply been too overwhelming fast.

"Jack! You flew sooo fast!" Luffy shouted.

"Where did you go?" Zoro asked.

"How fast can you fly!?" Usopp added, practically vibrating in excitement.

"Let's land first," Jack said, guiding them all back onto the deck.

Kuma, Bonney, and Robin stared at them in shock. Bonney and Kuma knew the combat suit could be used to fly, but not to that height, and certainly not at that speed. Only Dragon remained calm, the other Revolutionaries inside the ship had no idea what happened because when Jack had noticed Robin presence he urged them all to stay inside going merry, not to peek outside.

Robin's expression tightened in curiosity. Sensing her confusion, Jack finally explained his situation to Bonney, Kuma and Robin. On how he had come from another world, how he lost his abilities, and how each time Luffy recruited an important Straw Hat member, another piece of his power returned.

Robin, being the most analytical among them, didn't fully believe him. She could feel he was still hiding something.

"By the way, captain," Jack suddenly said, turning to Luffy. "Have you ever seen a robot that fires lasers from its eyes?"

"What? No… Don't tell me you have laser eyes!?" Luffy gasped.

"Yup." Jack smirked and opened optic blast through his eyes.

Zzzzzttttt—!!

Golden energy shot from his eyes into the sky, leaving everyone staring in awe.

"WOOOOAAAAHHHHH!!"

A/N: I might added slice of life more because I really wanted to follow cannon series not fanfiction series, especially how Domi Reversi works.
