[Weight: 60kg (Average: 52.2kg)]

[Held Item: None]

[Strength: Pseudo-Elite Four Level]

This was the data for the Sceptile in front of him. Its Pseudo-Elite Four strength and 6 perfect IVs made it stand out among the other Pokémon.

"It has 6 perfect IVs," he thought, a smirk creeping onto his face as he looked at Sceptile's panel.

A Pokémon's Individual Values (IVs) represent its growth potential, with a minimum of 0 and a maximum of 31. A stat with a perfect value of 31 is called a "v."

The ranking of Pokémon strength, from lowest to highest, is: Normal, Elite, Gym Leader, Pseudo-Elite Four, Elite Four, Champion, and the legendary Master.

A Sceptile with Pseudo-Elite Four strength was an incredible asset. It was truly worthy of being the Sceptile that one-shotted Darkrai at the Lily of the Valley Conference. Its strength and potential were simply beyond words!

Excluding Pikachu, whose strength was inconsistent, Snorlax, who was always sleeping, and Charizard, who had not yet returned, Sceptile's strength was absolutely one of the best on the team.

And this was not even Sceptile's peak strength. There was still a year until the Lily of the Valley Conference, and during this time, Sceptile's strength would grow even more.

Furthermore, the average IVs of most of his Pokémon were quite high, mostly around 4 perfect IVs, which was a very high standard.

This excluded the herd of Tauros, of course. Apart from the leader, which was 4 IVs, the rest of the herd were at a 2 to 3 IV level. After all, they were Pokémon the original Ash caught in the Safari Zone, so their quality was quite average.

"Perfect. It's decided. Sceptile will definitely be with me to accelerate its growth."

He looked at Sceptile, who was standing there coolly with a twig in its mouth, and secretly made up his mind to keep Sceptile with him for a while.

To win the championship at the Sinnoh League's Lily of the Valley Conference, the "Legendary Guy," Tobias, would be his only obstacle. To defeat him, an excellent core team was essential. And Sceptile clearly had the qualifications to be a core member. Not to mention, he had already bought a Sceptilite Mega Stone for it.

...

"Charizard, I'm counting on you for the next part of the journey!"

In the air, Ash and Pikachu were on the back of a large red dragon. This was the Charizard that had been swapped from the Charicific Valley using the Pokémon transfer system at Professor Oak's lab.

[Charizard]

[Category: Flame Pokémon]

[Type: Fire, Flying]

[Height: 1.83m (Average: 1.7m)]

[Weight: 120kg (Average: 90.5kg)]

[Ability: Blaze (When HP is less than 1/3, the power of Fire-type moves increases by 1.5 times.)]

[IVs: HP (31), Attack (31), Sp. Atk (31), Defense (31), Sp. Def (31), Speed (31)]

[Moves: Scratch, Smokescreen, Scary Face... Flamethrower, Fire Spin, Dragon Rage, Blast Burn, Seismic Toss]

[Strength: Pseudo-Elite Four Level]

Based on its stats, Charizard's strength was also at the Pseudo-Elite Four level. However, it was quite a bit stronger than Sceptile. After all, it had undergone extensive training in the Charicific Valley, so its strength was naturally superior.

"Roar~"

Charizard was also very happy to see Ash and let out a roar, quickly flapping its wings and heading in the direction of Viridian Forest.

Pallet Town was not close to Viridian Forest. Traveling there and back on foot would take more than a day. This distance definitely required a Flying-type Pokémon.

Because Noctowl and Swellow were not large, they were not capable of carrying people for long-distance flights. That's why he had to borrow the Pokémon transfer system from Professor Oak. Among all the Flying-type Pokémon he had caught in the previous regions, only Charizard and Pidgeot were capable of carrying a person.

After flying for about half an hour on Charizard, he arrived at the endless green expanse of Viridian Forest.

"Thanks for your hard work, Charizard!"

He found an open area to land and then returned Charizard to its Poké Ball.

"Roar!"

With a low growl, Charizard's body turned into a red light and returned to its Poké Ball. His next goal was to find the Pidgeot he had released in this forest.

"But Viridian Forest is so dense. It really lives up to its reputation as a huge forest that spans Kanto and Johto!"

He looked up, a bit dumbfounded, at the towering, sky-high trees around him. Having lived in a city before, he had never seen trees this tall. After all, in cities, it was rare to see trees taller than ten meters outside of parks.

"Scizor!"

Just as he was absorbed in observing his surroundings, a green mantis suddenly leaped out of the grass to his left. Its sharp eyes were fixed on Ash and Pikachu, who had trespassed into its territory, as it swung a pair of large scythes.

"Interesting. A wild Scyther just jumped out of the bushes!" Ash said with a smile.

The Pokémon in front of him was none other than the Pokémon known for both its looks and strength among Bug-types, Scyther. This immediately piqued his interest.

He had just entered Viridian Forest and already encountered a relatively rare Scyther. It truly was Viridian Forest, with the most diverse range of Pokémon.

"Pikachu, it's your turn!"

He patted Pikachu on the shoulder, signaling that its opponent had appeared.
