Chapter 188 - Do Me a Favor

The distant clash between the two colossal figures shook the air with deafening booms.

Only now did everyone realize that the "strong wind" they felt earlier was the shockwaves from their battle.

Even from this distance, waves of air kept rolling over them, rocking the ship nonstop.

Already stunned speechless, Olga, Vivi, and the others lost their balance as the ship lurched again and collapsed onto the deck.

Their bodies trembled as much as their hearts. Even now, they couldn't understand why there were giants here—let alone giants fighting each other.

Judging from the battered, ancient look of their weapons, the two must have been fighting for a very, very long time.

The twenty-meter-tall giants continued slamming into each other, while Leno, Yamato, and Hancock leaned over the bow, watching with keen interest.

"Leno, do you know who they are?"

Robin finally couldn't hold the question in. Something about these giants pulled her thoughts back to her childhood—back to Saul, the giant who once saved her.

Since these two were also giants… maybe they knew something about Saul.

"Hm? Those two are the captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates from a hundred years ago.

The one with the longsword is Dorry the 'Blue Ogre.'

The one with the axe is Brogy the 'Red Ogre.'"

"One hundred years?!!!"

Nami latched onto the key detail and nearly screamed, staring in disbelief at the distant giants.

"Then… then have they been here this whole time?"

"Yep. Those two have been fighting on this island for over a hundred years."

Seeing all the shocked, confused faces around him, Leno continued:

"Don't be too surprised. Giants live for around 300 years on average. So a hundred years isn't as long as you think for them."

"My god! A battle this intense lasting a hundred years? Just how deep does that grudge go?"

Nami watched the deadly exchanges between the two and simply couldn't wrap her head around it. What kind of hatred lasted this long?

Leno shrugged with a playful look. "Who knows. Maybe they're just bored~"

Once everyone finally calmed down, the distant duel gradually lost its shock value. Eventually, they even got bored and began looking around the island instead.

…except Yamato, who kept her eyes glued to the giants the entire time, practically sparkling with excitement.

No one knew how long the battle dragged on, but eventually, a thunderous crash echoed across the island as both giants toppled to the ground—another round finished.

Only their voices continued to boom across the land.

"Battle number 72,736!"

"Result: 72,736 draws!"

"Gabababababa!"

"Gia gia gia gia…!"

Seeing the giants finally stop, everyone on the ship sighed in relief. They were genuinely terrified the two would fight for a few more days and nights.

The blasts were so massive they affected the entire island. Doing anything during that was practically impossible.

Leno steered the ship toward the two resting giants.

The closer they got, the more nervous—and excited—the crew became.

As they approached, both Dorry and Brogy immediately sensed their presence.

"Dorry~ looks like new friends have arrived!"

"Yeah! I hope they brought drinks! My mouth's been dry for ages!"

By the time Leno's group reached them, the two giants had already sat upright, staring eagerly at the newcomers.

"Visitors! Did you bring any alcohol?"

Brogy lowered his enormous head toward the ship, looking at them with anticipation.

"So big… up close, they're even bigger!"

"Yeah, seriously… and that's just the head…"

With Leno and the others standing confidently at the front, Vivi, Olga, and the others felt little fear—only shock.

"Hahahahaha!"

"We did—we brought plenty!"

Leno found the enormous face amusing; the giant's head alone was bigger than a small ship.

With a wave of his hand, countless barrels of alcohol appeared out of thin air, quickly stacking into a small hill.

"I've collected a lot of drinks. Consider it your lucky day."

"Gabababababa!"

"Gia gia gia gia…!"

Neither giant bothered asking where the alcohol came from. The sight of so much booze instantly sent them into a frenzy.

"Thanks for coming all this way, friends! I'm Brogy, the strongest warrior of Elbaf Village! Nice to meet you!"

"Gabababababa…!"

Dorry, who had planned to taste the drinks first, widened his eyes the moment he heard this.

"Don't be stupid! The strongest warrior of Elbaf is me, Dorry! You bastard!"

Seeing the tension spike again, Leno hurriedly stepped in. He definitely didn't want them starting another fight.

"Hey—both of you, do me a favor!"

"…Let's throw a feast instead! Hahahaha!"

Dorry and Brogy froze.

The overwhelming pressure that burst from Leno earlier had vanished instantly. It was brief, but both giants had clearly felt it.

Yet now, the young man was smiling brightly as if nothing had happened.

They exchanged a glance—and burst into laughter.

"Gabababababa!"

"Gia gia gia gia…!"

"Brogy, looks like this friend of ours is no ordinary guy~"

"Yeah. And now that I look closely, several others on his ship have pretty strong auras too!"

Leno didn't mind their "secret" conversation.

He vanished in a crackle of lightning and reappeared moments later carrying a gigantic dinosaur.

"It's all yours, Carmen. There's plenty of meat on this island. Make sure we stock up before we leave!"

"Leave it to me, Captain!"

She was curious where he had hunted the dinosaur, but still stepped forward to begin preparing it.

Leno pulled out many precious cuts of Anglerfish as well—his parting gift for the two giants.

Might as well let them enjoy something good while they still could.

Thinking of Imu's future intervention sent a ripple of urgency through Leno's heart.

His strength might already be among the strongest in this world…

But the one sitting on the Empty Throne was anything but easy to deal with.

Even now, their true power remained a mystery.

If that being ever felt like killing him, he wouldn't bet his life on their mercy.

But gaining more strength from here on wouldn't be easy.

He'd have to think carefully about his next move.

After steadying his thoughts, Leno turned to the crew behind him.

"This is an ancient island filled with prehistoric plants, animals, and insects. Be careful and protect yourselves from bites—they can carry diseases."

"Especially you, Nami. Be extra careful."

"Kaya, Chopper—prepare everyone properly. Safety first."
