Chapter 28 - A day of practice

NOTE

Guys, I'll be updating the character list this afternoon. Remember, as new characters appear, I'll add them to the list. By the way, I completely forgot that Ms. Ahn had already appeared, so I forgot to add the picture, but I'll do it this afternoon along with the others!

Enjoy the episode, haha!

"Shit, that's Mr. Yoo's son, right?" the white-skinned girl asked.

"Yeah, I think Baek Hyun-Ah said his name was Yoo Jeon," the dark-skinned girl replied.

"..."

"Sis, I'm not crazy, am I?" the white-skinned girl said nervously. "That guy's thing should be much, much bigger than that old bastard's, right?"

"It should be, Chae Mi Young, it should be!" the wheat-skinned girl replied with a hint of panic in her voice, remembering the outline of Yoo Jeon's pants.

"Have you ever tried anything that size, Choe Ga Hyun?" Chae Mi Young asked in a trembling voice.

Choe Ga Hyun thought for a few seconds and then shook his head. "No, I don't even remember seeing anything that size!"

"..."

"Aren't you curious?" Chae Mi Young asked hesitantly.

...

"Uhmmmhmmm, I don't know!" Choe Ga Hyun replied, but he'd be lying if he wasn't curious to see the old bastard's son's cock.

"Anyway, let's go back to the cafeteria. I'm so, so exhausted, I never want to see that old bastard again," Chae Mi Young said bitterly, still feeling a slight ache in her groin.

"Yeah, yeah, it's better to leave that old bastard to that bitch Baek Hyun Ah," Choe Ga Hyun replied, a chill running down his spine. Honestly, he didn't want to see that damn old bastard again.

INSIDE THE APARTMENT

"You're back, brat. Where's your sister?" Mr. Yoo asked threateningly.

Seo Joon walked past this fat old man, opened the refrigerator, grabbed a bottle of water, and downed it in one gulp.

Mr. Yoo frowned, dissatisfied with Yoo Jeon's behavior. This behavior made the veins on his forehead pop out. They began to twitch in anger.

Yoo Da-li is the opposite of Yoo Jeon; Yoo Da-li is the apple of his eye. Not even Yoo Jeon or his other children are as important to him as Yoo Da-li is to him. That's why he trained a dog like Ahn Junpyo to protect his little girl.

And that's why he brought Yoo Jeon to this house, to protect Yoo Da-li. Although Yoo Jeon's appearance reminded him of his youth, Yoo Da-li was still more important to him than this little bastard.

Yes, if it weren't for the fact that he needed a guard dog for Yoo Da-li, why would he bring Yoo Jeon home?

You should know that he's lost count of all the bastard children he's had; Yoo Jeon is just one of them.

Seo Joon naturally sensed the hostility of his supposed father, Mr. Yoo. No magical powers were required to read minds. The fat old man was furious that he hadn't brought Da-li.

"She agreed to go to a friend's house for a research project!"

"Really?" Mr. Yoo asked, narrowing his eyes slightly and sounding threatening.

Seo Joon nodded and changed the subject. "By the way, you should take a shower; you stink. And of course, you should get dressed. Being naked at home when Da-li could arrive at any moment would cause lifelong trauma."

"HAHAHA! What are you worried about? Da-li isn't as weak as you think!" Mr. Yoo replied with a laugh, and his serious and menacing expression magically disappeared.

Seo Joon cursed this hypocritical old man a hundred times in his heart and walked toward his room.

Mr. Yoo glimpsed his son's broad back, squinted, and became lost in thought. No one knew what this fat old man was thinking.

Seo Joo lay on the mattress for a few minutes and enjoyed its softness.

After a few seconds, Seo Joon fell fast asleep. After all, it's no exaggeration to say he hasn't slept in two days straight.

I don't know how much time passed, but when Seo Joon opened his eyelids, he could see through the window that the sun was apparently about to rise.

"Shit, I never thought I'd sleep from 6 p.m. until the next morning!" Seo Joon muttered with a yawn.

Stretching lazily, he took out his phone and checked the time. It was 5 a.m. Seo Joon changed out of his sleepwear, putting on a pair of loose-fitting shorts, a black compression shirt, and white sneakers.

He walked around the room and found a fairly new CD player among his belongings.

After browsing around, he understood all its functions. He put on his headphones and played the CD inside.

"Damn, that's great taste!" Seo Joon thought, hearing that the record was full of old black gangster music.

Finally, he quietly left his room and prepared to leave the house. He breathed in the morning air, and Seo Joon immediately felt refreshed and renewed.

And so, Seo Joon began his morning exercise routine. He jogged down an unfamiliar avenue, his body somewhat drenched in sweat from the strenuous run he'd been doing. He didn't even know how many kilometers he'd run. In that moment of concentration, he glimpsed a wrestling school out of the corner of his eye.

"Hmm, why not go inside?" Seo Joon thought with interest. "Maybe I can steal some new moves."

As he entered, the door's jingling caught the attention of everyone present. An old man, his eyes closed, opened them slightly upon hearing the door's jingle and seeing Seo Joon. This old man, half a step from the grave, suddenly opened his eyes.

"Treasure, treasure! I found a damn treasure!" the old man muttered, his eyes wide open. Immediately, at a speed bewildering his age, he quickly approached Seo Joon.

He observed Seo Joon's entire body like a machine, his mind processing the data.

"Long, thick, and strong arms, broad shoulders, a robust neck, muscular quadriceps. Perfection is simply the perfection of man in his prime, but why is all that potential latent?" The old man quickly analyzed Seo Joon and came to these conclusions. In Seo Joon's body, the old man could see untapped potential.

The old man looked solemnly at Seo Joon and said bluntly, "Kid, join my gym and I'll unleash all that potential in your body."

Seo Joon's pupils shrank slightly, and he looked at the old man in front of him with some surprise.

"Shit, could this old man see the potential in my body?" Seo Joon immediately thought of that. He wasn't stupid; he'd known for a long time that his body's potential was dormant, waiting to be awakened.

To be honest, Seo Joon didn't know how to awaken this potential. At first, he relied on what he saw in Jujutsu Kaisen. Perhaps a high-intensity fight could awaken his potential, but he wasn't entirely sure.

But seeing no good opponents, Seo Joon worked hard daily to push his limits again and again. He wouldn't stop until his body reached its limit, but achieving that was extremely difficult. Still, every time he recovered, he felt a small key inside him slowly unlocking, but it was so, so small that it was barely noticeable.

But he persisted. After all, even a little is significant progress, so it wasn't entirely useless.

Seo Joon looked at this short, wrinkled old man. Looking into his eyes, Seo Joon could see that this old man wasn't a simple person. Even if he wasn't a monster like those tough guys from Lookism, he probably wasn't weak at all.

"Mmm, all right," Seo Joon agreed without hesitation. After all, he had nothing to lose, and joining a gym in this world until he could return to his own wouldn't be bad at all.

The old man smiled faintly, like a fox, and led him to the locker room. Upon arrival, he didn't even mention the gym fee. Instead, he immediately took out a suitable workout set and gave it to him.

Seo Joon took it and put it on; although he was somewhat embarrassed, he put it on.

"Tch, brat. From now on, you will do whatever I ask without question or complaint. Do you understand?" The old man looked at Seo Joon firmly, as if it wasn't a question, but an order.

"Okay," Seo Joon replied indifferently. Hearing his answer, the old man was satisfied and asked,

"By the way, what's your name?"

Seo Joon thought for a moment and replied, "Yoo Jeon." Seo Joon used his name in this world; after all, it would save him trouble.

The old man led him to the training ground. There were about twenty people there. Seo Joon could see that these students were university students. Those present also looked at Seo Joon, but their gazes were hostile and unscrupulous.

Seeing the hostile looks directed at him, Seo Joon cared little, if at all. He knew that in Korea, older people tended to have an air of superiority over their younger peers.

Even more so in the educational field, where superiors often treated their juniors like pets. You know, all that "senior" crap and those strange hierarchies. Seo Joon assumed the hostile looks from those people were because he hadn't greeted them with due respect.

But Seo Joon didn't care about all that nonsense. He wasn't going to let anyone humiliate him.

The old coach, noticing the hostile looks directed at Yoo Jeon, didn't worry too much. Instead, he decided to let things flow. To develop an elite athlete, overcoming obstacles was essential if one wanted to progress.

The coach's gaze swept over those present. After a careful look, he stopped at someone and said,

"Hyun Seok, come here and test the new kid!" Hyun Seok's face hardened, taking on a fierce expression. He responded enthusiastically with a dangerous smile directed at Seo Joon.

"It shall be done, Coach!"

The coach turned to Yoo Jeon and said,

"Kid, first show me what you're made of. Have you ever wrestled?"

Seo Joon thought for a moment and shook his head. He didn't consider imitating Hope Park's moves to count as wrestling. After all, even though he had copied them, he had never practiced them.

"I see... Then do your best," the coach said, reflecting briefly before deciding to give the kid a chance. He wanted to see how far Yoo Jeon could go.

"...."

The atmosphere was charged with electricity. The murmurs fell silent as Seo Joon and Hyun Seok faced each other on the mat. Everyone's gaze toward Seo Joon was, at the very least, contemptuous and mocking. After all, they had heard that the rookie had ever practiced wrestling.

The coach, arms crossed, raised his voice.

"Start, first takedown, you're out!"

Hyun Seok used the standard wrestling stance, while Seo Joon remained silent; after all, he knew absolutely nothing about this.

Seeing this, everyone mocked Seo Joon's misfortune.

Without wasting a second, Hyun Seok launched himself like a predator, not caring whether Seo Joon was prepared or not; his only thought was to teach the newcomer a lesson.

SWISH

His technique was impeccable: a quick feint followed by a low entry seeking to control the waist. Any beginner would have fallen into the trap.

THUD

With almost mechanical coolness, Seo Joon stepped back and lowered his hips, executing a perfect extension, neutralizing the takedown attempt.

"What the...?!" exclaimed one of the spectators. "That move... was identical to the captain's!"

"Sprawl, what the fuck? Wasn't he a rookie?!"

Seo Joon was no idiot; ever since he arrived, he'd watched these guys train, watching every single one of their body movements in detail, stealing everything they could.

Seo Joon didn't hesitate. As soon as Hyun Seok lost his balance after the failed attack, he rolled onto his back and grabbed him with impeccable technique, securing control as if he'd been practicing for years.

Hyun Seok tried to wriggle free, but the grip was solid as iron.

"Who the hell is this guy?" another person muttered.

Seo Joon's muscles were bulky, his every movement tensed like steel cords, his fine muscles visible even in his training uniform.

Hyun Seok managed to break free with a desperate push and backed away, panting. His face reflected more than frustration: it was fear. He didn't understand how a rookie could decipher him with such force. With ease.

Seo Joon, seeing his initial stance, replicated it exactly, making Hyun Seok's face turn extremely ugly.

He charged again. This time with rage, without technique. He wanted to crush him with brute force.

Seo Joon let him approach. With a small, mocking smile tugging at his lips,

Hyun Seok extended an arm, seeking a clinch…

Seo Joon ducked, his eyes shining with a barely perceptible light.

SWISH

With terrifying fluidity, his body crouched, his right leg took a light step, and then his knee touched the tatami. Immediately afterward, his left leg slid across the tatami, while his hips surged forward. He immediately passed behind him, wrapping both arms around his waist…

A perfect entrance. Hyun Seok initially attempted a sprawl, but how could Seo Joon allow it?

He exerted all his speed and strength, and in the next moment he was behind him. Hyun Seok's face in an instant.

"Is he going to pick it up?!" someone shouted.

"Shit! "Isn't that the move the vice-captain did to Yuseok?" added another unknown person.

The vice-captain's face turned extremely strange as he saw how a rookie had copied with a glance the move that had taken him years to master.

An instant later, Hyun-Seok's world turned upside down.

Seo-Joon grabbed him with relentless strength, his defined muscles tensing to the max. He twisted his hips explosively and threw him through the air.

Hyun-Seok's body flew...

And he crashed into the tatami with a suplex as perfect as it was brutal. The impact shook the entire tatami.

BAM!

The echo of the blow mingled with an overwhelming silence.

Hyun-Seok lay on his back, panting, his eyes rolling back. He hadn't even been able to react. He was completely dominated.

Seo-Joon slowly sat up, breathing calmly. Not a drop of sweat ran down his face. The skin.

"Phew! Even though I only came to kill time, I've stolen quite a bit," Seo Joon thought, seeing everyone's downcast looks.

"I must say, copying talent is too good to demoralize people. Think about it, a guy you barely know imitates at a glance what you've spent years perfecting. It must be heartbreaking and frustrating to watch."

The others stared at him as if they'd just witnessed the birth of a monster.

The coach smiled slightly, like someone who'd struck gold in the mud.

"Interesting... very interesting. I didn't think there was someone in this small Korea with such terrifying talent," he murmured.
