Shar montera Hagskin
I received some letters after giving information about the wendigo, i see people want ol dorian from the adventurers guild to give you some more monsters to learn of, so today we discuss hagskins or what you might call witches
Seemingly most of shars monsters can be born of man elf or dwarf and those whos races are too out of the way like halflings. Hagskins however are not like this, due to this its safe to say none exist who'd want to baby you.
Their skin is wrinkled like that of a mans nan, their eyes possess no colour only black, they share height with dwarves due to being hunchbacked. Its not clear where they come from, however they do not share ancestry with us, instead likely evolved to look like us, their face is arranged just enough to look human but thoroughly assessing such a thing shows misaligned eyes among other features.
Now you may ask, aside from looking like a crime, why would we think of these things as monsters? Well, they will hide jars of pests amongst farmland,
a better description of these jars is they are loose able to hold animals of any size seeming to shrink them to fit yet will regain such size upon relief of the jar,
notable example would be the baron snake who ate a farmer then the family who came looking for him, that snake came from a hagskin
Simply hagskins collect dangerous and usually venomous animals to hide, their lack of a shared ancestor, though they are prone to worser acts such as a hagskin found to be luring people into its den and feeding them to rats, notably children.
