Chapter 1 - ch 1

The rain was pouring hard, the thunders would give goosebumps to anyone out there. They were both soaked as Theron's broad shoulders carried Liana as if she weighed nothing. Liana was struggling to come down but his strength was too much for her to escape.

"Put me down, you bastard, " Liana screamed hitting him with her little hands. Theron didn't care and took her to his room. He threw her on the bed as she flinched and moved back, trembling in fear. He held her feet and pulled her towards him — caging her between his strong hands. She tried to push him but he didn't even move a bit.

"Listen to me and I won't hurt you. " Theron whispered in her ear, his voice low yet commanding. She bit his hand and tried to run but he pinned her against the wall, a smirk in his face and his eyes — cold and merciless as ever.

Liana stared into his eyes in anger, breathing heavily, "I hate you-" She murmured as he smashed his lips against her, kissing her ruthlessly. She tried to push him but he held her hands and pushed her back. They both stopped, breathing heavily, as he stared deep into her soul, "you have to love me, no choice. " A smirk spread across his face and he kissed her cheeks. He held her by her waist and pulled her closer, as she fell on his chest, her eyes helpless and teary.

"You're really a lunatic. " She gritted her teeth in anger. He ignored her words and bit her ear, his breath hit Liana's skin, she stopped trying to escape. He slowly kissed her neck as she closed her eyes and gave up. "I like it when you're obedient. "He murmured, kissing her neck softly.

"What can I even do, " her voice cracked as she spoke "you say you love me, do you even care about my feelings?" a drop of tear rolled down her cheeks.

Theron stopped and looked up at her, whose face was pale and her body was cold, as her clothes were all drenched. His jaw clenched, his brows furrowed as he stepped back looking away. He went near the couch and threw a towel towards her.

"Dry yourself, you might catch a cold. " He left and slammed the door behind him. Liana was shivering, her breaths shallow as if life itself was slipping from her grip. She sank to the floor as she clutched the towel and pulled it around herself. Tears were flowing continuously, her hands trembling and her heart ached as her throat felt heavier than ever. That night she cried till her eyes swelled up and her throat was sore— but her voice was suppressed by the storm out side. She leaned on the wall, pulling her legs closer as she wrapped herself into a hug and fell asleep.

Theron walked out of the room, as he lit up a cigarette and stood near the window, watching the storm. He took out his phone and made a call , "prepare a dress for Liana and deliver it by tomorrow morning. " He hung up as he blew out the smoke. Her words, "do you even care about my feelings? " were still echoing in his ears, his eyes holding a bit of guilt which lasted just for seconds. He threw the cigarette, clenching his fist and went down to sleep in the guest room.

The next morning, the storm calmed and the sky cleared. Theron woke up and headed towards his personal gym in his house. Liana woke up and her body ached as she found herself lying on the floor. Her body was cold. Her damp dress clung to her skin, her head heavy. She knew she had caught a fever.

Liana somehow managed to stand up, her legs were shaking and her body was weak and trembling in pain. She reached the bed and sat down, holding her head. Even the thoughts of last night gave her goosebumps and made her flinch. At that moment, someone knocked at the door. She wasn't sure who was there and her breath shook thinking it might be Theron. She stared at the door, waiting for it to open but no one came in. Again someone knocked the door, "who's it?" Liana asked, holding her throat as her voice cracked badly and it hurts to speak.

"It's me Miss Liana, " Lorien answered, as she sighed, "may I come in? "

"Yes" She held her throat in pain.

Lorien entered as he saw Liana sitting on the bed, shivering. "Well...are you ok? you look a bit pale. "

Liana nodded as she was struggling to speak, "Anyways, Theron asked me to deliver it to you. " Lorien kept a bag on the couch, "Just call me if you need anything." He said and left. Liana was feeling sick and her throat was in a bad condition too.

"What shit is it now? " She thought as she somehow reached the couch and picked up the bag. She opened it and found a dress which was exactly of her size.

"I am looking so pitiful right now. " She chuckled as she looked at the dress, her eyes welled up with tears. She went to the washroom and took a bath— even after having a fever, she preferred cold water as she wanted to suffer herself. She came out of the shower and wore the dress Theron send to her. She was laughing at herself for her state and blaming herself for not being strong enough to escape.

Theron got ready for work and waited for her to have breakfast. He was constantly checking his watch and looking up to her room but she wasn't coming out. Finally his patience ended as he walked towards her room. He stepped in and found her standing by the window, looking outside, her eyes lost. Theron coughed lightly, as she turned, "come down, breakfast is ready." Liana looked at him and turned again towards the window, ignoring his presence.

He got frustrated and went near her, "did you hear me? " she still seemed not bothered at all. He held her face and turned it towards him— she lowered her gaze avoiding eye contact. "Speak" his voice cold and sharp. She ignored him again, he pinned her against the wall, "speak, I said! " He frowned.

"What if I don't want to? " She rasped, her throat raw with pain. He heard her voice cracked badly and it seemed her throat was hurting. He touched her forehead as she looked away, "you caught a fever, your face is burning. " He took her to the bed, laying her down and covering her in the blanket. He called lorien, "arrange a doctor, Liana is having a fever. " She laughed, "now you're showing care? I look so pitiful, are you satisfied now? " tears rolled down her cheeks as she looked at him in disguise. He didn't mind her words, "wait for me, I'll be back in a minute. " Liana's jaw clenched, she held the blanket tightly and closed her eyes.

Theron returned with a glass of warm water. He sat near her and handed her the glass but she refused to take it. He tried again but he realised she just won't take it. He then sighed and took the glass near her mouth but she suddenly pushed his hands as the glass slipped and broke.
