Chapter 47 - Origins Awaken

Silence hung in Prince Seiro's chamber.

Supira was the first to speak.

"What if…" he said slowly, rubbing the back of his neck, "you've already awakened your Nexus?"

Seiro's eyes sharpened slightly as he looked at him."You haven't," he said calmly. "Not fully."

Supira frowned. "How do you know?"

"I watched your match," Seiro replied. "You weren't yourself. You were growling… moving like an animal. That wasn't control—that was instinct."

Supira's gaze dropped. "…Yeah. I don't really remember what happened."

Before the tension could settle, Kori raised his hand awkwardly."What if you have two Nexus?"

Seiro turned to him, opening his mouth to respond—then froze.

"…You have two Nexus."

Kori scratched his head sheepishly. "Uh… yeah."

Seiro laughed softly, shaking his head. "Unbelievable. In that case, listen carefully." His tone became serious."If you want to awaken your Nexus, you must return to its Origin."

Kaosu exhaled slowly, already turning toward the door."I already know who I'll meet."

He waved once. "Later, Seiro."

Supira sighed deeply. "Guess that means…" He glanced toward the hallway."…to the library with me."

Without waiting, he slowly walked out.

Kori lingered.

"I know what to do for my Ice Nexus," he said, "but I don't know anything about my Star Nexus."

Seiro smiled knowingly."Then you should visit Hono."

Kori stiffened. "The one who tried to kill me?"

"He is the God of the Stars," Seiro replied. "Who better?"

Kori groaned. "Can you tell him not to try again?"

Seiro laughed and raised a hand, spirit energy flickering briefly."I'll send him a message."

Relieved, Kori bowed. "Thanks!"

He turned to leave, then paused."One more thing."

Seiro raised an eyebrow. "Yes?"

"…Can I bring Doriabu and Shimo to the Heavens?"

Seiro smiled. "Of course. I'll retrieve them myself."

Kori's face lit up. "Thank you!"

He waved and hurried out.

Kaosu found Kudo waiting in the corridor.

"Kudo," Kaosu said seriously, "where does the Chaos Nexus come from?"

Kudo smirked faintly."…It's about time."

He tapped his foot against the floor."Come. We're heading to the King's Domain."

Elsewhere, Supira sat alone in the vast academy library, books piled high around him. His eyes scanned page after page—until one book caught his attention.

A spiral-shaped symbol adorned its cover.

Supira smirked."…Found you."

At the far gates of the Academy, Kori stood alone.

"Finally," he muttered. "I'm here."

The air shifted.

Kori's eyes widened as a man stood before him—tall, calm, radiant—stars faintly swirling within his gaze.

Hono.

In human form.

Hono smiled gently."I've been expecting you, Kori…"

His voice echoed like distant constellations.

"…Child of the Stars."
