Phoebe's POV.
He wants to bath me.
My eyes widened in complete shock and my mouth parted as a shocked gasp escaped my lips.
"Why are you looking so shocked?" Alpha Kingston asked me.
This Alpha was so shameless, he just offered to bathe me and he was acting like it was a normal activity to offer a woman a bath.
The moon goddess blessed me with beauty and I was very much grateful for it but it was causing more disadvantages than advantages. I was beautiful and attractive but it also made me a tool of abuse by male werewolves…
I thought that I had escaped from this kind of life but I was wrong. I was falling into another trap which might be hard to escape. I thought he was different but his actions kept proving me wrong and naive.
"How could you ask that?How dare you ask such a question as me?!" I yelled, forgetting that I was talking to the Alpha.
"What?" He gazed at me in confusion.
What was he shamelessly confused about?.
"I thought you were different from Alpha Kingston, I thought that you only wanted to help me because you were a kind person but I was wrong!" I lashed my tongue at him.
He was taken aback, surprise was written all over his face.
"What do you mean by that?"
"How could you suggest bathing me?" I spat angrily.
His shocked expression changed to a hilarious one as he burst into laughter. I gasped, feeling mocked by his jest.
"What's funny?"
"I asked if I should help to call the maids, that was what I meant. I didn't mean it the way you are thinking" Alpha Kingston chuckled and I almost slapped myself in the face.
I thought that he wanted to have a sexual relationship with me in exchange for the kindness he had shown me but I was wrong. I had just misunderstood his words.
I bowed my face and my right palm went to my face to cover it from shame. How could I think that the Alpha of the most powerful pack would be interested in a slave like me?. Everything was just in my head.
I slowly put down my hand and he was still laughing;his laughter was graceful to watch. I used to think that Alphas as powerful as him would always be nasty, cruel and terrible like Mark but each time he had proved me wrong.
"I am sorry for raising my voice at you, I had no right to do such. Forgive me Alpha" I apologized, my head was still bowed in shame.
I was ashamed of my filthy thoughts, I wondered what he must be thinking of me right now.
"It's fine but you can just call using this' ' Alpha Kingston said pointing at the drawer at the left, there was a telephone there.
I had taken notice of it but was confused by its significance, therefore I didn't let the thought bother me at all. I had seen this in the pack house but I didn't know how to use it.
Alpha Kingston suddenly stood up and and picked up the telephone;he then Instructed "The number is 81800, you press it on the dialler and press the green button and if you want to end the cell then press the red"
I giggled in amusement at the sight because no one cared to teach me these things.
"81800" I repeated and he nodded.
He told me that one of the maids would receive the call and come to the room. He then instructed me to try it. My hand was shaky as I held;I was never given these luxuries in my former pack.
I dialed the number and heard 'Hello'
I responded and Alpha Kingston whispered to me to speak up and I said 'Hello, I need help with my….ba-bath "
The servant said that she would be here in a few minutes and I kept the telephone back in its position.
" That wasn't so hard "
" Yes, it wasn't hard at all. I never got the chance to even see this kind of things while I was there "I sighed sadly, recalling all the years of leisure I had lost.
" It doesn't matter since you are here now "
He sat down beside me but I uncomfortably moved away because I guessed I had some odor emanating from my body. I held my hands together and lowered my head waiting for him to speak.
I didn't know why I was nervous and shy with him. I never felt this for Mark or any other.
"Phoebe, I know that you have been through a lot but we are here for you. Beta Axel and I and the rest of the members of the pack which you would meet"

"Alpha, what do you mean?"
"I want you to be part of this pack" Alpha Kingston uttered and I was astounded.
"What!" I exclaimed before my hand flew to my mouth.
This wasn't just allowing me to stay for a few days but to be part of his pack permanently. To be part of the most powerful pack for the rest of my life. To finally have an identity. I was privileged to be given a new family.
Tears filled my eyes and I almost choked on my own saliva as I tried to speak.
"Calm down"
"Are you really going to allow me into your pack?" I inquired, I thought he said it as a trick or misguided words, since he had been at that from time and time again.
"Is this a trick?"
"No, it's not. I would love for you to stay here and be happy" Alpha Kingston gave me a charming smile.
So handsome.
I kicked out the thought and stared doubtfully into space. I had a few enemies here and toxic people but Mark's pack was worse.
"I know this is a golden opportunity for me but I would like to have some time alone to make a decision" I said, cautiously.
"The time is yours, My lady" Alpha Kingston grunted as he stood up.
My lady.
My cheeks tinted red at his words.
"I appreciate it," I blushed.
Why was I blushing?.
He nodded and told me to take care of myself. He left, leaving me in awe.
The maids came after and prepared a warm bath for me, they bathed me carefully like I was gold or an egg. One of them brushed my teeth, dressed my wounds and gave me a beautiful gown to wear. It looked pretty expensive.
I had never worn nice dresses or expensive things. They began complimenting my beauty;they didn't test me indifferently and it made my heart swell.
I returned to my bed, I was served breakfast and reconnected to the IV drip. I hated this thing.
After that, I laid down and groggily succumbed to slumber as a result of anesthesia.
I slowly opened my eyes and yawned. I looked by my side and flinched.
"Ha!"
"Are you shocked?" Lina asked with a hateful expression on her face.
"W-what are y-you doing here?" I stuttered in fear, she had been watching me sleep.
Lina smirked and pulled out the IV fuse harshly from my veins.
"Aah!" I winced in pain before I could cry out, she suddenly pinned my neck to the bed.
"Please…" I whimpered. I could feel my wrist bleeding.
"I'm… bleeding" I choked and gripped her hand on my neck but she was strong.
Lina grinned evilly "Stay away from my brother, I don't care if you bleed to death but whatever deal he gives you, you better decline It because I will get rid of you, if you try to stay here."
I saw jealousy and hatred in her eyes.
She tightened her grip on my neck and I choked in tears. She was strangling me.
