Above the sky, a massive warship slowly descended towards the ground, and a suppressive aura permeated the air.
The hatch opened, and countless figures streamed out, densely packed, like a black tide surging forward.
Leading the charge were the Chitauri infantry, armed with blades and firearms.
Following closely, the Leviathan warships, enormous in size and radiating a cold metallic sheen, slowly approached, casting shadows over the land.
Chitauri Giant Apes, resembling small mountains, took heavy steps, each one shaking the Earth.
The Black Order stood with stern expressions, exuding a chilling aura, surrounding Thanos, whose name was renowned.
He wore heavy golden armor adorned with mysterious patterns, his broad shoulders seemingly capable of bearing the weight of the entire World, and the Slaughter Blade in his hand gleamed with a cold light; his purple skin appeared even more majestic and domineering in the dim light.
On the human side, there was only Nolan and the half-crippled Avengers.
"The momentum is a bit weak!"
Nolan snapped his fingers.
Numerous teleportation gates appeared behind him.
"Nolan, you've finally decided to make a move on another Earth."
The first to rush out of the teleportation gate was Tony's Apollo Armor.
Various models of armor then flew out one after another.
"Master."
Shadow led the Demon Army, which surged like a black tide, appearing from another teleportation gate.
"Leader."
Frank stood tall, leading the Magic Weapon Squad grandly out of the teleportation gate.
Tanks and armored vehicles followed closely, their engines roaring deafeningly, the steel torrent showcasing the beauty of steel and mechanical power.
"Nolan."
Venom also appeared with Pamela and the others.
Except for Charles and Eric, who were holding the fort with the Mutants, and a portion of the injured, Nolan brought everyone.
Although one person could solve everything.
Soldier against soldier.
King against king.
Thanos looked at the opposing side, which was in no way inferior to his own, his expression unchanged, and continued to walk forward.
Until Nolan and Thanos stopped simultaneously, five steps apart.
At this moment, the sky, darkened by the intense bombardment, felt like a heavy curtain, making it difficult to breathe.
"Who are you?"
"Demon King, Nolan. Like you, I'm from another parallel Universe."
"Why are you stopping me?"
"No reason, I just feel like it."
Nolan actually wanted to subdue Thanos.
Unfortunately, it was impossible.
This guy was a pure idealist; he would sacrifice everything for his goal, including himself.
Thanos didn't get angry when he heard this reason; he squeezed the Slaughter Blade.
"The me of this Universe once succeeded.
I gathered the Infinity Stones, snapped my fingers, and reduced the life in the Universe by half.
However, because of your appearance, everything turned into a bubble and failed again.
Does even fate not approve of my ideal?"
At this moment, a hint of confusion appeared in Thanos's eyes, a confusion that arose from his lifelong conviction being shaken.
In his original understanding, his ideal in this Universe had already been achieved, the Infinity Stones had been destroyed by him, and everything would proceed towards prosperity and balance as he envisioned.
But fate played a trick on him.
A group of failures created a machine to travel through parallel Universes and obtained the Infinity Stones from a parallel Universe; his ideal only lasted five years.
"It didn't fail."
Nolan suddenly spoke, his voice not loud, but clearly audible to everyone.
"What did you say?"
Thanos was slightly stunned.
"I only resurrected the Earthlings and Asgardians who died five years ago due to the snap, and incidentally, the aliens who died fighting the you of this Universe on Titan.
I didn't resurrect other aliens in the Universe, and the extra Earthlings are insignificant to the entire Universe, so your ideal hasn't failed. Does that make you happier?"
Nolan explained with a smile.
"What?"
The Avengers exclaimed in surprise.
But soon, they all quieted down.
Upon reflection, Nolan's actions indeed brought immense benefits to Earth.
It allowed those who had vanished to return, and it avoided the unpredictable troubles that too many resurrected alien creatures might bring to Earth.
"Hahaha!!!"
Thanos took off his helmet and began to laugh maniacally.
It was the joy of recovering something lost, the exhilaration of a twist of fate after being toyed with.
"Thank you, you've ensured my ideal hasn't failed."
