After Fasha's first explosive Super Saiyan awakening, the courtyard shimmered with lingering golden dust. Bulma was pacing furiously, Mai was taking quiet notes, and Fasha… well, Fasha was still crackling like a barely contained power generator.
Buu stretched his arms lazily.
"Alright. That's enough for now."
Bulma's head snapped up. "What? No, no, no — YOU are not leaving after she just surpassed me!"
Mai nodded. "Agreed."
But Buu simply placed a hand on Bulma's forehead.
"Shh. I'm not disappearing."
He stepped back — and split.
A perfectly identical Buu clone emerged, stretching its neck and rolling its shoulders like it had been alive forever.
Clone-Buu smirked. "Don't worry. I'll break you two properly."
Bulma swallowed. "…Okay, I regret complaining."
Mai took a defensive stance immediately. "Yeah, this one looks meaner."
The real Buu jerked a thumb toward the clone.
"He'll push you harder, let's see you two complaining."
Fasha raised a brow. "And what about me?"
Buu turned to her slowly — and for the first time that morning, he smiled.
"You get a reward."
Fasha blinked, unsure she'd heard correctly. "A… reward?"
"Mm-hm. Come."
Her golden aura flickered out instantly, replaced by something warmer, quieter — almost shy.
She crossed her arms, trying not to smirk too eagerly.
"Hmph. Fine. But it better not be something stupid."
Bulma groaned loudly. "OH COME ON—"
Mai pulled her back. "Forget it. We're going to die here anyway."
Clone-Buu cracked his knuckles. "Ready?"
A violent explosion answered him as Bulma's ki lashed out instinctively.
Buu waved and started walking away.
Fasha followed.
They traveled far from Capsule Corp — past the coast, over the quiet islands, the sky warm and clear. Sunlight glinted off Fasha's wild hair as she flew beside him.
She shot him a sideways look. "So where exactly are we going?"
Buu pointed with one finger. "An island. Old hermit. Trains humans. Annoys turtles."
"…You're taking me to an old man for a date?"
"Not a date," Buu corrected. "A reward."
Fasha's tailbone twitched with annoyance — her Saiyan instincts reacting before her brain did. "It FEELS like a date."
"Not a date."
"Then why are you smiling like that?"
Buu said nothing.
Fasha clicked her tongue. "…Tch."
But she was smiling too.
Kame House appeared on the horizon — a tiny pink house in the middle of the calm blue sea. Peaceful. Quiet. Almost out of place.
Fasha landed first, boots sinking slightly into warm sand.
"Smells like salt. And perversion."
"Accurate," Buu said.
The door cracked open before they even knocked.
BANG
A gunshot exploded past Buu's head.
"DON'T COME ANY CLOSER!" yelled a blonde girl with twin pigtails, holding a shotgun that was nearly as big as she was.
Fasha blinked. "…What the—"
Buu stepped aside calmly. "Ah. The sneeze girl."
Launch pumped the gun again. "One more step and I'll—"
She sneezed.
A soft puff of air.
Her hair shifted from blonde to blue, her expression going from murderous to confused in an instant.
"Oh! Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry! Did I shoot at you? Did I shoot again? Oh not again, Master Roshi will be so upset—"
Fasha leaned toward Buu. "Is she broken?"
"Two people. One body. Weird human thing."
"I'm a weird human thing," Fasha replied.
"You're Saiyan and Majin too."
"…Point."
Launch noticed Fasha's golden tail wrap around her waist. "O-oh! You're really pretty! And strong-looking! Sorry for… trying to kill you."
Fasha flicked her hair proudly. "Happens."
A door slid open behind Launch.
Master Roshi stepped out wearing sunglasses, swimming trunks, and absolutely no shame.
"Well well we—"
He froze mid-sentence at the sight of Fasha.
Fasha glared. "Try anything and I'll break every bone you own."
"Ah—," Roshi adjusted his glasses, sweating instantly, "m-my apologies, miss!"
Launch smiled politely. "Please don't break Master Roshi. He's fragile."
"He's disgusting," Fasha corrected.
Roshi bowed repeatedly. "True, true, very true."
Buu tapped Fasha's shoulder. "Come."
They walked to the edge of the island, the ocean stretching out endlessly. Fasha sat on a rock, arms crossed, eyes stealing glances at him.
"So… this is the reward? Peace and quiet?"
Buu nodded. "For one day, yes. You earned it."
Fasha's eyes softened — just a little.
"You're… weird," she muttered.
Then added, quieter:
"…but I like that."
Buu sat beside her. "I know."
She elbowed him in the side. "Don't get cocky."
Launch waved from behind them. "Do you want tea? Or.. um… bandages? I don't know which one you'll need first."
Fasha grinned. "Tea's fine."
Roshi coughed. "If you'd like to train—"
"No," Buu and Fasha said together.
Roshi shut up instantly.
For the first time in a long while, Fasha let her shoulders relax.
Warm sea breeze.
Quiet waves.
No battles.
Just… calm.
A small reward.
But for her — it meant more than any fight.
