In the heart of the Underworld, within the Gremory Territory's ancient halls, something truly unexpected was happening.
At first glance, she looked young—about Issei's age or younger—with transcendental, unmatched beauty, long crimson hair, upturned lavender eyes, and a crown resting gently atop her head. She also had a huge bosom. She wore a nightgown that seemed out of place among the noble tapestries and carved stone pillars.

Venelana and Zeoticus were both slack-jawed—silent in shock.
Zeoticus's voice finally came out shaky.
"Ancestor… you woke up!"
Runeas groaned loudly and covered her ears.
"You haven't changed a bit, Zeoticus," she complained, voice tired and a little annoyed.
She blinked at her surroundings, bewildered.
"What year is it?"
Zeoticus glanced at Venelana before answering carefully.
"It's… 2021."
Runeas's eyes widened.
"…I woke up a year early, which means—"
Her face split into a grin that was more child than duchess.
"The balance of the world must be changing—so of course I'm going to see it!".
Rias, who had been nearby, watched in silence.
"…Who is she?" she asked with genuine confusion—and a little awe.
Before anyone could answer, Sirzechs appeared beside her with a blink, as if summoned by the word ancestor itself.
"Rias," he said with a calm tone that did not match the chaos behind him, "that's our ancestor."
"Your Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Grandmother… Runeas Gremory—First Generation Gremory."
Zeoticus briefly explained what should have been obvious from her crown, her posture, and the intense underworld aura around her:
Runeas Gremory is the first-generation originator of the House of Gremory, created directly by Lucifer and his wife Lilith.
Her bloodline carried forward through centuries of devils, culminating in Rias and Sirzechs themselves. Despite her youthful look, Runeas is genuinely ancient, one of the first devils ever born and a survivor of the Great War against heaven and fallen alike.
Runeas blinked at Zeoticus, clearly trying to process not just the calendar but how it all worked
"So…
My great-great-… oh who knows how many greats grandkids are running around?
And nobody thought to wake me up sooner?"
Zeoticus blinked, Venelana quiet beside him.
Rias just stared for a long second.
Then she said simply:
"…Ancestor."
Runeas brightened.
"Oh! A descendant! Come here, Rias-chan!"
Within moments she was bounding forward with far more energy than someone waking from a legendary slumber should logically have—clinging with reckless enthusiasm.
Rias just stood there, faintly speechless.
Sirzechs cleared his throat.
"…This is going to be an interesting chapter in the Gremory legacy."
And somewhere deep beneath the Underworld's calm surface, the clan sigil glowed a little brighter—because the first Gremory had returned.
The majestic hallway of the Gremory Territory was too quiet. That instantly changed when Runeas finally finished dressing.
She stood there in a Kuoh Academy uniform — blouse, skirt, and knee-high socks — her long crimson hair styled in two high updos framed by her signature uneven bangs. Despite her age, she looked strikingly like a student again — and just as bewildered.
Runeas stretched, letting out a dramatic sigh.
Runeas clasped her hands together, a playful gleam in her eyes.
"Now," she began, thoughtful and mischievous as always, "I probably woke up because of one of two reasons:
1. Someone messed with my alarm clock — unlikely."
She paused and grinned wickedly.
"2. The balance of the world is shifting hard."
Then she turned to face the assembled Gremory elders with a curious look.
"Spirits?" she asked.
Rias blinked, utterly confused.
Sirzechs stepped forward, arms folded. "They have bonded with a boy named Shido Itsuka. I am informed."
Runeas tilted her head and raised an eyebrow. "Hero clans?"
Zeoticus chimed in, his tone a mix of bewilderment and duty. "Jin Toujou's child. Basara Toujin is handling that in Kyoto."
Another beat.
Runeas blinked rapidly — a rare moment of genuine calculation.
"Jin had a child? Very well… Red and White?"
Rias's eyes lit up with sudden understanding as she stepped forward.
"White Dragon Emperor is with the Fallen," she explained. "Red Dragon Emperor is with us — in my peerage."
Runeas's grin widened, a childish excitement spilling out. "Ohhh~ good job, Rias-chan! Now… the prophecy child of the Yokai."
Sirzechs looked over with impeccable calm, but even he seemed slightly impressed by how quickly she put the pieces together.
"His name is Nate Adam," Sirzechs announced. "The Yokai King and the Prophecy Child. He's been born for sixteen years."
Runeas's eyes narrowed slightly — the gears turning.
"And… all of this happened in this generation?" she asked slowly.
Zeoticus nodded.
Runeas smiled — wide, childlike, and just a little wicked — because she was thrilled by change. Not alarmed. Not scared. Entertained.
"Good," she said, clapping her hands. "Very very good."
She floated up a little off the ground, eyes dazzling with excitement.
"Let's see how this world-changing chaos plays out," she declared.
Then she turned to Rias — her descendant, her joy.
"…Now, tell me everything. In detail."
Venelana frowned slightly. "Ancestor… why are you asking all these questions?"
Runeas slowly raised a finger and pointed straight at her.
"Because," she said lightly, almost teasing, "nobody has realized it yet. Other than me."
The room went silent.
Even Sirzechs stiffened.
"…Realized what?" he asked carefully.
Runeas's grin widened — not arrogant, not smug — but excited, like a scholar who just found a lost chapter of reality.
"We are in a Nexus Era."
Blank stares.
Runeas began pacing, her movements relaxed, almost playful, yet every word carried weight.
"Spirits walking openly again."
"Hero Clans re-emerging instead of fading."
"The Red Dragon Emperor active."
"The White Dragon Emperor moving."
"And a Prophecy Child born at the same time."
She stopped and turned, eyes sharp now.
"These things don't happen together by coincidence."
Zeoticus swallowed. "…You're saying this era is a convergence?"
Runeas snapped her fingers. "Exactly."
She floated slightly off the floor again, hands behind her back.
"A Nexus Era is when multiple mythological systems synchronize. Heaven, Hell, Yokai, Spirits, Heroes, Dragons — all forced into the same rhythm."
She tilted her head, smiling brightly.
"It's the kind of era where history doesn't just change."
She leaned forward.
"It explodes."
Rias felt a chill. "Is that… bad?"
Runeas looked at her and laughed softly.
"Oh no, Rias-chan."
She shook her head.
"It's terrifying for people who want stability."
Then her eyes gleamed.
"But for people like us?"
She spread her arms wide.
"It's the most interesting time to be alive."
Sirzechs exhaled slowly. "…So Nate Adam being born wasn't the cause."
Runeas snapped her fingers again. "Nope. He's the keystone."
She glanced toward the distant sky of the Underworld.
"In a Nexus Era, the world doesn't choose one savior."
"It creates several… and lets them collide."
A beat.
Then Runeas smiled sweetly.
"Which means," she said casually, "someone up there — or down there — is panicking right now."
The Gremory family exchanged uneasy looks.
Runeas clapped her hands once, cheerful again.
"Now then," she said brightly, "who wants to tell me which idiot thought it was a good idea to wake me up early?"
And somewhere in the multiverse—
—fate quietly adjusted its plans.
Meanwhile in Kyoto.
Nate and Kunou walked up to a house.
They walked to a house holding Homework.
Kunou looked at Nate. "So, why are we doing this?".
Nate looked at his Wife. "The teachers do not like the fact that Basara is skipping school a lot".
Kunou nodded. "I remember going to Middle School with him".
Nate nodded. "He was a year older than us, now in Y Academy he is our Senpai".
They walked into the House
And everyone in the house felt the energy.
Nate rang the doorbell.
Someone opened the door.
He has a well-built and muscular, with a body, with light green eyes. Unkempt, spiky brown hair that juts out in various directions. He is wearing a T-shirt and Jeans.
[Insert image of Basara]
Basara looked at Nate guardedly. "Oh, Nate".
Nate looked at him. "We are here to give homework".
Basara nodded as he took. "Fine".
He closed the door but Nate stopped it.
Nate just looked at him with a smile. "Can we come in?"
Meanwhile inside his head. 'Yeah, I have seen your show, I know your chaos and a similar life to Issei, just wanna know why it's happening in my Faction, in Kyoto'
Basara stared at Nate for a long second.
Too long for someone just delivering homework.
His grip tightened slightly on the door.
"…Come in," he said finally, stepping aside.
The moment Nate and Kunou crossed the threshold—
—the air shifted.
Not violently.
Not threatening.
But heavy.
Basara felt it instantly. His instincts screamed, the same ones that reacted to gods, demons, and things that shouldn't exist.
This guy…
He's not normal.
Kunou blinked and looked around. "Your house feels noisy."
Basara froze. "…Noisy?"
Nate's smile didn't change, but his eyes sharpened just a fraction.
"Residual energy," Nate said calmly. "Too many contracts. Too many emotions packed into one place."
Basara clicked his tongue and shut the door. "You shouldn't talk like that so casually."
Nate shrugged. "You shouldn't skip school so casually."
Kunou nodded firmly. "Basara-senpai, your attendance record is terrible."
Basara rubbed his face. "I know. And it's not like I'm doing it for fun."
He turned toward them. "You wouldn't understand."
Nate met his gaze evenly.
"Try me."
Basara hesitated.
For just a moment, the mask cracked.
"…Kyoto's been unstable," Basara said quietly. "Hero Clans, gods sticking their noses in, devils making moves they shouldn't. Someone has to keep it from blowing up."
Nate tilted his head. "And you decided that someone was you."
Basara scoffed. "Someone had to."
Kunou stepped closer, hands behind her back. "You sound lonely."
Basara flinched.
Nate's internal voice was calm, analytical.
Yup. Same pattern.
Issei with breasts replaced by responsibility and trauma.
Classic supernatural protagonist syndrome.
Outwardly, Nate stayed relaxed.
"You know," Nate said casually, "you're not wrong for protecting Kyoto."
Basara blinked.
"But," Nate continued, "you are wrong for thinking you have to do it alone."
Basara's eyes narrowed. "And why should I trust you?"
Nate smiled — not cocky, not dominant — just honest.
"Because I'm already involved whether I want to be or not."
Kunou nodded. "He's telling the truth. He attracts trouble like candy attracts ants."
Basara stared at them.
"…What are you, Nate Adam?"
Nate met his gaze, Yokai King aura leaking just enough to be felt.
"A student."
"A husband."
"And someone who doesn't like seeing his faction destabilized without knowing why."
Silence.
Then Basara exhaled slowly.
"…Sit down," he said.
"We need to talk."
Nate then spoke. "You can tell, your companions to stop using the invisibility spell".
Nate looked directly at the girl whose invisibility spell just dropped with a pop.
One second: nothing.
The next: a petite succubus with silver hair, big expressive eyes, and an infamous collar around her neck.
She was wearing her signature revealing outfit with maid-apron illusion, the kind that suggests she's wearing way less than she really is — exactly the look that makes everyone go "…really?" but somehow still fits her chaotic swagger.
Maria Naruse.
She blinked at Nate with a mixture of shock and irritation — and only a fraction of the shock was about being seen.
"You can see me?" she snapped, clearly offended that her stealth didn't work.
Nate nodded, calm as ever.
"Yes. But it's not exactly sight — I detected you."
Maria widened her eyes like someone told her there was no dessert forever.
Then another spell slipped as someone else screamed:
Mio — fully revealed and losing it —
"YOUUUUUUU!!"
Nate blinked.
"…Wow."
He casually folded his arms.
"Seems like you're still mad I was first in middle school."
Maria's jaw ticked.
Her entire posture shifted from surprise to rage-sparked embarrassment, and right on cue she lunged forward — not so much stealthily as dramatically — claws out and yelling.
"Who DO you think you are, you little——!"
Nate barely moved.
His expression stayed relaxed, lazy even.
'Old grudges are alive and well,' he thought.
'Maria hasn't changed a bit.'
Behind Maria, Mio was still breathlessly furious, chest puffed out, voice cracking with outrage.
Maria skidded to a halt, eyes narrowing like a ticking time bomb.
"…Fine," she growled. "But this doesn't mean you're forgiven!"
Nate just tilted his head.
"Wasn't asking for forgiveness," he said.
Kunou, watching from the side with a soft smile, leaned in slightly and whispered to Nate:
'Mio really never lets old school stuff go, does she?'
Nate shrugged lightly.
'Guess some rivalries never die.'
And just like that —
the quiet house visit suddenly had way more chaos than homework.
