Back in heaven, Seraphine grew restless after what had just happened with Calithar's sand. As she sat upright in the misty calming pool, it edged on her mind, forcing her deeper into possibilities of what must have gone wrong.
'Was it the spell? Maybe I made a mistake in the process...' she kept repeating to herself but deep down, she didn't need a medium to tell her that wasn't a normal occurrence.
The experience had left her shaken with fear and doubt. There really was something else more powerful than she? A goddess? Seraphine didn't know what to think anymore.
"Maybe I should go see Calithar. He has to tell me where he got that sand from."
Seraphine didn't waste another second. She grabbed her robe that laid beside the pool and slowly stepped out of the pool.
"My lady! My lady!" The Lunaris sprites cried out in their tiny voices. They fluttered their tiny wings to where Seraphine was, forming a floating blockage in front of her.
