Chapter 51 - Chapter 50 - Who really is Gojo Satoru?

"It's banquet time!!"

Hurtling himself into the air with a triumphant exclamation, Gojo luxuriated in the process of devouring an enormous drumstick.

He crashed into the floor beating his chest with his hands before Paulie passed him a glass of water. Paulie watched the pirate crew with a smile, while the thought of him getting beat up by Kaku lingered in his mind. 'I'm still weak.' He thought to himself, withdrawing another vast chicken from the table.

The atmosphere brimmed in diligence as the shipwrights and Iceburg shared a meal together with the Blue-Eyed pirates. They partied all day relentlessly after the defeat of the Cipher Pols. While unknowingly to them, they never knew the incident would spring a huge uproar and fetch the scrutiny of marines into the city of water to locate the whereabouts of the said pirates.

Given the circumstances, the government could erase the whole city of water by the said Buster Call used to wipe out the entirety of Ohara.

The night elapsed in a flash and dawn came. The sun shone brightly deep into the horizon, the birds flapped their feathers as they sang continuously while the shipwrights went back to work.

"The promise," Paulie said, sliding a cigar on his lips. "I'll make sure it's done."

Jake slammed the table with his palms. "Really?"

Gojo became dumbfounded whilst witnessing the scene. "Okay, time out! Time out!" He placed his hands on his forehead trying to crack up his brain to analyze the situation.

"Oh, we didn't tell you?" Ryuken whistled.

"Tell me what? What's going on, Paulie?" Gojo's curiosity skyrocketed.

Paulie extracted the cigar from his mouth releasing a puff of smoke from his nose and mouth. "I made a promise to your crewmates. I said if they could defeat Kaku and save Iceburg, I'll build a ship for you guys."

"A ship?" Gojo's mouth widened in disbelief. "Then, you mean you'll build us a ship for free?"

Paulie gave Gojo a nod. "Yes. I'll keep my word and build you guys a very nice vessel to sail around the world."

Gojo belly flopped Paulie from his seat into the ground, holding his hands as he appreciated him wholeheartedly. "We won't have to be concerned about getting the 250 million beli."

"Yes yes, now get your ass off him." Ryuken grabbed Gojo by the collar and tossed him away from Paulie who hadn't fully healed from the recent battle.

"It's true we won't have to worry about that much but right now, we're so damned broke. How the hell are we going to feed?" Jake reminded his air-head captain who usually takes everything as a joke.

"We'll find a solution." Gojo muttered under his breath, much like a child caught red-handed by his mother while pilfering a piece of meat from the simmering pot of soup.

Veins ignited on Jake's forehead before exhaling a deep breath. "Get your ass up right now and let's go find a job before Paulie finishes building our new vessel."

"Roger that!"

Ryuken and Gojo saluted, trailing behind Jake like a lost puppy in the forest as they plunged forward to locate a part-time job before sailing to their next voyage.

"Yare yare! We've got some troublemakers." Paulie scratched his head furiously before hopping away from the group while grabbing the blueprint of the vessel he'd drawn earlier.

One of the emperors of the underworld laughed uncontrollably as he finished writing up the news about the incident that occurred in Water 7. "Spread the news to the world!" Morgans laughed as he distributed the newspaper to the News Coo.

Thousands of News Coos flew all through the sky, distributing the newspapers throughout the Grandline and New World. Pirates lurking around the Grandline took a grasp of the newspaper and sweatdropped after glancing at the report.

The news reported that the rookie from the East Blue had defeated three members of the Cipher Pol agency, and that the victim was none other than Gojo—captain of the Blue-Eyed Pirates.

Furthermore, the news claimed that he was the mastermind behind the death of Rob Lucci and the destruction of Water 7.

"Hey, hey, isn't he taking this too far?" The local pirates who'd sailed into the Grandline for few months sweatdropped as they witnessed the formidable catastrophic.

"Way to go! Who's this Gojo guy? Isn't he awesome?!"

"I want to join his crew!"

Some of the pirates erupted in fervent cheers, rallying behind Gojo, while others were utterly shattered by the turn of events.

What's going to happen after this?

Some felt despair, realising Gojo had crossed the line he shouldn't have by killing a CP9 agent.

[Marineford]

"Satoru Gojo!!!"

Navy Admiral Akainu rage with utter disgust as he read the article on the newspaper brought to him by a marine lieutenant.

Smoke emanated from Akainu's fist as the tension skyrocket in the room. "How the fuck did he murder a CP9 agent?" Akainu snarled, glancing at the newspaper.

"Ara-ara, who would've thought he'd make it to the Grandline?" Aokiji remained calmed.

"First, escaping from Impel Down," Bosalino, or rather, Kizaru, muttered majestically. "Sailing into the Grand Line wasn't enough—he murdered a Cipher Pol agent? That is absolutely inconceivable."

Sengoku raged. "This is a serious issue. Why would he broadcast it to the world?" He directed his rage towards Morgans for broadcasting such big news. "The Elders won't sit quietly!"

"Why don't I head to Water 7? I could easily capture him and his crew." Kizaru adjusted his glasses.

"We can't let him roam freely anymore!"

….

[Amazon Lily]

"Oh my god!" Elder Nyon read the article of the newspaper and sweatpan, her eyes widened in disbelief as she proceeded towards the castle to relay the news to Hancock who'd been feeling better since Gojo declined from the Island.

"What's the fuss about?" Hancock declared, shifting her gaze from Glorosia to the newspaper she held.

"It's about Satoru Gojo. He's done it again." She said.

"G-Gojo?" Hancock flattered before regaining her composure. She read the article thoroughly as she gawked miserably. "What the hell has he done? Killing a Cipher Pol agent is a huge crime."

"I guess he'd shocked the whole world once again, Hancock. Who really is Gojo Satoru?" Glorosia bit her lips, declining herself from the castle absconding Hancock who became short of words.

[Unknown Island stationed in the Grandline]

Nami, the navigator of the Strawhats pirates fell on her knees as she read the article about this certain pirate that'd caused the whole world to shake after escaping from Impel Down.

Zoro stopped his training, shooting a serious gaze at Nami. "What's wrong?"

Nami couldn't even emphasize the consequences as she let go of the newspaper.

The crew read through the newspaper carefully and saw it was about the certain pirate whose bounty was above Luffy's.

"It's him again," Sanji ignited his cigarette. "So, what're we going to do about him, Luffy?"

Luffy adjusted his hat, "I want to meet him!"

Zoro smirked, knowing he'll encounter with his childhood rival once again. "Let's see how strong you are, Ryuken!"

"Nami!" Luffy ordered. "Let's get going. I've got a rookie to settle with." He cracked his knuckles with a smile.

"That's settles it. Let's sail, Nami-swann. I'll protect you even if it cost me my life." Sanji spun towards Nami as he held her hands.

"Why don't you just die, twirly eyebrows?" Zoro teased.

Sanji raged. "Wanna fight, moss head?"

"Bring it on, I'll cut you in half, love cook."

Zoro and Sanji clashed while Luffy filled his pockets with tons of chicken, ready for their next adventure.

[Mary Geoise]

"Morgans!!"

The elders raged with fury.

"Who would've thought a key figure like Rob Lucci would be killed?" Saturn muttered.

"Satoru Gojo, he isn't a mere pirate we should leave to roam through the seas freely. He should be wiped out."

"I guess we underestimated him. Those powers of his… is truly a mystery."

"Call Sengoku, he should send some fleet to Water 7. There should be enough time, Gojo shouldn't have escaped so fast."

"Understood!"

The Elders were lost in their thought. They'd never knew a day like this would come forth where a mere pirate would be able kill a top officer of an CP9 agent.

Cipher Pol was an underground agent who always does their mission flawlessly without their identity being broadcasted to the world. So why? Why would Morgans exhibit such secret to the world?

They thought to themselves before a voice resonated through their head compelling them to react instantly as they fell to their knees with their head bowed.

"Yes, your highness!"

….

[Galley-La Company, Water 7]

"Get your ass up, men! We've got ourselves a ship to build!" Paulie ordered.

"Yes sir!"

The shipwrights wasted no time, meticulously carving the wood as they scrutinized the blueprints, intent on constructing a formidable vessel for the pirates to sail.

Glancing toward the distant sea, a multitude of silhouettes began to emerge, one after another, from the far horizon, steadily approaching the city built upon water with measured speed and disciplined formation.

"Shit, the marines are here." Paulie bit his lips. "Someone should go and fetch the pirates so they can conceal themselves immediately, in order to avert further bloodshed."

"What are we going to tell the marines?" One of the shipwrights uttered, sliding a nail into his mouth.

"We'll tell them the pirates stole a vessel from our company and fled." Iceburg ordered. "Paulie, you've to get the ship done as fast as possible."

"Roger that!"
