Li Shen who awakened his martial soul stood there in a daze. Because he can feel another martial soul on his left hand but he didn't expose it. Instead he suppressed it and focussed on the mark to conceal it. This is what he learned from the soul masters who are guarding the orphanage while conversing with them and bombarding questions on them. The current timeline isn't the era of Tang San. This is the timeline before Qian Xunji's death. The start when Bibi Dong is accepted as an apprentice to Qian Xunji, it's been a year by now. Li Shen looked at the White Drake phantom behind him. This is a sub dragon that belongs to white armoured dragon family but it's a sub dragon and not a true dragon.
What's so special about this martial soul is the high chance of mutation after absorbing spirit rings. Not even one White Drake remained the same after the third soul ring. That's why this martial soul has another name, The Volatile Dragon Soul. As for why it isn't popular, it's simple because of it's low number of awakenings and low rank compared to dragon and sub dragon martial souls.
Li Shen is sent to be enrolled in the spirit hall junior academy. In that he is assigned to the normal class, genius class is way beyond him. To join it, you need to be either a genius above level 7 soul power or someone from the elders or bishops family line. Below level 7, everyone are considered normal spirit masters whose potential will be stuck at sprout emperor or spirit sage.
As Li Shen entered his dorm room, he saw the small room enough for a single person. Spirit hall isn't lacking money and anyone with above level 3 soul power can lead a decent life here. The students in normal section are divided into two groups again based on their innate soul power.
Level 4-6 soul power will be guided by soul kings or emperors, this group is called the enforcement group for future spirit hall that will become their enforcers or army, while level 0.1- 3 are considered deacon group with spirit grandmasters leading them. Since their numbers are more and their soul power is low, the amount of resources they will receive will also be low. The enforcement group received fairly good resources for cultivation.
The genius class meanwhile will be concentrated with resources and cruel training at least for those who aren't in the family line of elders. Yeah, sucks to have no backing there. They will be forced to choose one of the elder families to join as a member under the guise of a soul saint or soul douluo guidance.

As name suggests he can get loot. He can either choose to plunder from the target or get a copy of something they have. The decision will be based on his thoughts and intent. If he chose them as hostile and fight them, then the loot Box will plunder something from them and give him that.
If he consider them not to be his enemy, it'll copy something from them. Though in this case, the reward will be somewhat reduced. He also has an inventory and status functions. That's all, a simple system. Fight and loot, that's his system for you.
