He turned to leave but she stopped him. "What took you so long?". She smiled sheepishly.
Rafi stared at his boss for a while. He knew what she wanted to hear; that smile said it all.
"I asked her to dinner…".
"And?...". Zyra asked curiously.
"She agreed".
Zyra's smile broadened. "That's amazing".
"Goodnight boss". Rafi bowed and turned to take his leave.
"Good night Rafi". She smiled as she watched him leave, then she turned to her husband.
As she stared at Victor, she felt guilty. He would never have been in this situation if she hadn't come into his life. She watched her husband in admiration. He was a strong man; he had been fighting all her demons with her, and he never broke.
